Eunbi's POV

It's one of my solo night tonight. No Sakura by my side. So it's going to be a bit tiring because I'm going to do all of the talking. Although I am doing this job for a very long time when Sakura became my regular guest it feels like my job got a little bit of easier and more enjoyable than before.

"Good evening this is your cute and y DJ, DJ Bi and you are listening to Fixing a broken heart. How's your night every one? Well for me it's a very productive day but I can't share it with you." As I am talking about my day Yena signals me that there's already a caller waiting at the other line. "So now let's proceed with our first caller hello?"

"Hi I'm Elkie." A girl with a very soft voice introduced herself.

"Hello Elkie what can I do for you? Any love problems?"

“So there is this guy that I liked we are not friends nor enemy. Well we are acquainted we have some casual talks but nothing more than that.” I think where is this story going she probably don’t know how to approach him and start a conversation.

“What can I do for you then”

“Is it ok for me to make the first move even if I am the girl?’ oh it’s a bit different from what I’ve initially predicted but it has the same Idea.

“What’s the problem in making the first move even if you are the girl? Can you explain your view on that and where did you get the idea that if you are a girl or a woman you shouldn’t make the first move?” I know there are different reason why they say that, some came from their parents to make sure that their daughter won’t encounter some bastards but most of the time It is because of the social norm that the man should always do the first move. I want to hear it to give her more accurate advice rather than giving her an advice that won’t fit her situation.

“It’s just that I’ve witnessed some of my friends that make the first move they end up broken hearted or they’ve got taken advantage of. Even though all of my mutual friends are saying he is a nice guy I still have doubts that it will happen to me.” It’s very different from what I have initially thought.

“Okay so there will be different situation for your problem, first you shoot your shot and got lucky to that guy, second you got rejected because he might like someone else, and for the last one you got taken advantage of.” I let her know what are the possible outcome from her situation.

“Can you explain it further because I’m kind of slow with this kind of things.”  I chuckled when I realized that there are still some people who’s a bit slow and innocent about this kind of things especial for her voice sounded she’s mature enough to understand this kind of things.

“for the first one you got lucky that he is really a nice guy and he entertained you. Some guys prefer that a girl would do the first move. Why? Some guys are too shy to approach someone due to lack of confidence or that’s just their identity. For the second one it’s simple he doesn’t like you because she likes or perusing someone else. And for the last one you got played by him he just wants to have you to brag about or to use you for his needs it’s either physical or financial. And after he gets that he’ll dump you.” I heard a faint hmm from her.

“Thank you for that. So should I pursue on making the first move or not?”

“For me you should think about it first take your time on doing it. Or you can just take it slowly. Approach him slowly to know what he really is because you shouldn’t believe easily on what people say especially the people who are saying that are also his friends. Do you think they will say their bad side to you knowing you are asking them about their friend? Hell no they won’t do that.” Well I am correct right I hope she won’t have any question we are a little bit over time for the first caller.

"Thank you for that advice that you give me. It really helps me a lot you even give some situations that I'll never imagine." After that I disconnected her line from the air.

"Thank you Elkie for today. I wonder if someday he'll be by her side right? I'll be right back after
