Prologue

It was a bright sunny day, the school bell rang loud signaling the start of school. Kids rushed into the gates of TOP High in a rush to make it to class on time, a few slowly walked taking their sweet little time. Ricky sat at his desk starring at a small girl to his top left, she was seated by a window and was reading a book. He was captivated by how beautiful she looked with the sun shinning around her, he found it to be somewhat ANGELIC for lack of better words. His ears perked up when he heard a group of boys mention a familiar name.

"Did you guys here about Bo Mi's brother?"

"What?" Asked one of the boys with shorter hair.

"He was just allowed back in school after his recent fight."

One kid laughed as he sat up in interest. "What the hell did he fight for this time? Jae Ho sunbae sure does know how to keep in trouble."

The main gossiper waved his friends in with a slick smile. "I heard that one of the seniors was messing with Bo Mi." He said as he let out a small laugh. "Her brother totally over reacted and BAM! Before the guy could think twice he wacked him in the face. Her brother is such a pretty boy but he has a lot of strength."

Ricky shook his head at the boys gossip. *Jeez, they're just as bad as the girls and their gossiping.* He thought as he fixed his gaze on Bo Mi once more. *Her brother doesn't seem like he would fight someone for no reason. The guy must have been rude to Bo Mi...I wish I was there to protect her.*

BAM!

The loud noise caused Ricky to jump form his chair, he turned to his friend with a small smile. "H...Hey Changjo." He studdered out hoping he didn't get caught starring.

"Hey Ricky." Changjo simply said as he plopped down in his chair and looked at him. "Did you do last nights homework?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Duh." He replied as he yawned. "I was up all night doing it! Who assigns someone so much work in one night?"

"Yeah." Ricky said as he looekd up to check on Bo Mi again.

She spent her time in homeroom alone everyday, she had friends but liked time by herself. If she wasn't with her friends she was either reading a book, or with her brother Jae Ho. The teacher walked in and called everyone's attention, Bo Mi closed her book and focused her eyes to the front. Ricky couldn't help by smile at the look she gave when she listened to the teacher. You could easily make out when she was really paying attention or off in her own little world.

Ricky sighed as he turned his gaze away from her. *I wish I had the guts to speak to her.*

Bo Mi on the other hand was on a whole diffrent plain. She glanced at her book and then at the teacher. She was reading the manga Otomen and didn't really want to stop for class. Everything the teacher was saying went through one ear and out the other.

*I can't beilive he's so afraid to show her who he really is! I mean it's not like all girls want manly guys who can fight! Being a man involves more then physical stregth and apperance.* She thought about the main character.

"Are you listening Lee Bo Mi?" The teacher asked in an irritated tone, she didn't answer and he grew more upset. "Earth to Bo Mi!" He said in a raised tone, after a second he knocked her upside the head with the ruler in his hand. It wasn't hard enough to kill her but hard enough to make her snap out of her daze.

"Ow!" She whinned with a small pout as she rubbed the sore spot. "Did you need something Kim Seonsaeng nim?"

"How about you pay more attention to me in class then the book at your desk." He said as he tapped his ruler on the cover. "Put it away please."

"Yes sir." Bo Mi said putting the book away, when he turned his back she stuck her tounge out at him and then continued to rub her head.

A few boys were left in awe at her display. They smiled and whispered to each other. "She's so cute!"

Bo Mi heard the two students and looked back at them. When they gave her a friendly wave she blushed and looked away. After sliding down in her chair she hide her face with her hair. *Aish...you should have at least said thank you Pabo Bo Mi! Now they're going to think your rude.* She thought mortified at the idea. "I wish Jae Ho oppa was here so he could block the view." She mummbled as she let out a small sigh.

The teacher went on with his lecture while the students did their own thing. Each one just waited and waited for the freedom bell to ring.
