Kaye: (Who in the world is banging at our door?) I’ll be right there....(Kaye shouted)

 

Sue: Get ready, we are going out!

 

Ian: Hi Kaye, sorry we tried calling but you weren’t answering (How could she still look this good when she just woke up with no make up on and with slightly tousled hair)

 

Kaye: Sorry I went to nap after my tutor left

 

Sue: What are you waiting for? Let’s go, everything is on me!

 

Kaye: Who are you and what did you do to my friend?

 

Ian: Lol I love your sense of humor

 

Sue: Is that all you love about her?

 

Ian: (Obviously flustered) What I meant to say was...

 

Kaye: I’ll go get ready (changing the subject before it gets awkward again)

 

Sue: Ok good, so that I could tell you the good news

 

Fifteen minutes later, they hailed a cab and were on their way to the park. Ian sat in the front passenger seat while Sue and Kaye were at the back.

 

Kaye: This is so not you splurging on cab fare, something’s up. Will you tell me the good news now?

 

Sue: Okay, so I finally got the call from IE and they said they will sign me up for 5 years!

 

Kaye: What?!!! That is great news!!!

 

Sue: I know right! And once I’m in, I will try my best to get you in too!!!
