Sue: Did I doze off for a long time?

Kaye: No, it was just a nap

Ian: Do you think you can manage to get up? (Gauging if Sue was sober enough to walk by herself or if they would need to carry her out)

Sue: I am not drunk. I was just not able to get a full 8-hour sleep for a long time

Ian: Yeah…people who are drunk usually say they aren’t

Kaye: Okay Sue, I believe you, can we go now?

Sue: (Sue hugged Kaye tightly after she stood up) I am really, really, really going to miss you….

Kaye: I’ll miss you too…

Ian: Let’s go before you girls start crying.

Sue: Why? Are you afraid you’ll cry too? There’s no need to hurry. I am sleeping at Kaye’s house tonight so that we can spend some time together before she leaves. I can’t guarantee if my schedule will allow me to see her off when she leaves.

Ian: (Looking disappointed that he won’t get to talk to Kaye tonight) Well let’s go then

When they arrived in front of Kaye’s house, Ian wanted to say something but he did not want to discuss anything in front of Sue.

Ian: I’ll call you in the morning, Kaye.

Kaye: Okay, good night.

After getting ready for bed, Sue started asking questions. She was curious as to what happened while she was asleep.

Sue: So, is there anything you want to tell me? Why does Ian have to call tomorrow and not tonight? Is there something you guys don’t want me to hear?

Kaye: Well…I don’t kn
