023: Realization
Go Away
Byul threw herself onto her bed. The memories of the whole night playing in her head like the most magical movie. It didn't stop the jumble of thoughts in her mind, but for once it made them seem normal. It was normal to look at someone like Jungkook and think: 'He's handsome' or 'I could look at him forever'. How could she not get her feeling mixed up when he did things like tonight. Things like when he leaned closer to her, and against her better judgement she almost did the same. "Ahhh!" Byul screamed into her pillow, muffling the sound. How long can she ignore those stupid thoughts? As long as she can, she will.
Byul sighed as she picked up her phone, she suddenly remembered that video she'd taken by accident. She was about to open her phone to watch it, but the time caught her eyes. "When did it get so late?" She wondered out loud before standing up, forgetting about the video, and going to get ready for bed. Tomorrow would be her first day, thinking about it made her have mixed feelings.

"You don't have to walk me to work." Byul told Jungkook, she didn't even remember telling him what time she had to leave at.
Jungkook smirked, "What kind of bestie would I be if I didn't?" He asked. Byul didn't bother playing into his game, she had no desire to start the back and forth game. She could already see the cafe up ahead. Unbeknownst to herself, she began biting her bottom lip. It was a bit of a nervous habit, that she still wasn't sure how to stop. Jungkook noticed it, "Don't be so nervous, you'll do great!" He assured her. Byul nodded. "And, me and the boys will come by later to check in."
Byul took a deep breath as she waved him off. The building in front of her was daunting, but she swallowed the unease down as she opened the door. Her eyes landed on an older man behind the counter, he looked like he was preparing the drip coffees--since those took awhile, and they were somewhat known for it. He looked up, and immediately a smile stretched across his wrinkle features. He looked to be in his sixties, probably around Byul's own grandparents' age. "You must be Byul." Mr. Kim said, wiping his hands on his apron before walking out. He was in front of her with his hand stretched out in seconds. "It's nice to meet you, sorry I couldn't hold the interview myself."
Byul nodded, "It's nice to meet you too, and I assure you Baekhyun was a lovely alternative." She smiled.
"I'm glad to hear that." He looked around, before looking back at her, "Well, we do have a bit of a uniform--but by the looks of it I assume Baekhyun has already informed you." He chuckled, looking at Byul's black mom jean fit pants, and her white light cardigan button up shirt. "Your apron is in the back, I already put your name above your cubby." Baekhyun had let Byul know about the color uniform the day before. It was mandatory to wear a pair of blank pants and a white shirt, under you
