Chapter 7
You’re my pick!“M’am, here’s your bouquet of tulips. Thank you for your patronage, see you again!” A girl whose presence resembles flowers bid the customer farewell.
“Sigh... it’s getting kinda boring now. Not many people visit our stores lately ever since the nearby hypermart opened up just last month.” Wonyoung can only stare at the building opposite of hers.
“Time to do my homework before Mama comes back from her errands.” The baby bunny quickly took out her assignments and started scribbling.
“Excuse me... Is anyone here?” A voice can be heard from the door of the flower shop.
“Yes, hold on for a while.” Wonyoung quickly kept her belongings and rushed outside to see who the stranger is.
A girl of similar height in school uniform who’s wearing spectacles stared back at her, with a camera strapped around her neck.
“Uhm hello, may I take pictures of the flowers here? They look very fresh, unlike the ones in the mart over there.” The girl asked while pointing her fingers towards the other building.
“That’s fine. But…”
“Oh sorry, I haven’t introduced myself yet. I’m Ahn Yujin, a student from the nearby high-school. I’m currently working on a school project involving flowers. I was looking around to take pictures of some fresh ones but none of them really caught my eyes until I found this place. Do you mind if I take a few minutes here? It won’t take long, I promise.” The puppy asked the younger girl politely.
Wonyoung thought for a while and agreed to the older’s request.
“Hmm. That’s alright with me. But you have to help me promote this place or my parents will go out of business very soon.”
“That’s not a problem. These flowers are of a much higher quality than many I see. Consider yourself lucky that your parents won’t have to worry, because of my amazing photography skills. I’ll also recommend this place to my relatives and friends.” Yujin grinned confidently towards the bunny while snapping away.
“Well then, I’m done here. Thank you so much for letting me take these pictures. Your help will be reciprocated!” The puppy took her leave happily as she waved goodbye to the other girl.
“Ain’t she a cheerful one? Her spectacles made her look like a squirrel. How cute..” Wonyoung smiled to herself before getting interrupted by her mum’s shout to help her carry more flowers into the shop.
“I’m coming!”
