Jennie sat down on her game chair and heaved a heavy sigh as she looked around her office; God, it looked as dead as she was. The walls were black, the curtains were black and they covered the glass windows, her desk only consisted of her computers, tablets, sticky notes, her phone, an unfinished cup of coffee and a half eaten doughnut that Dahyun gave her this morning.

It had been a week since her sister’s confinement in the hospital, Ella still has not been given the signal to go home, she was now under strict hospital prevalence, luckily their father was sent to Switzerland for a seminar and their mother had needed to show up to work which meant she could visit Ella and stay longer. It has also been a week since that sleep over at Lisa’s place, Jennie was consistent in dropping by Floraison but she didn’t really stay long and she was glad that Lisa did not question her on that.

With Lisa back in her mind, Jennie smiled as she stood up and opened the curtains, the blinding brightness of the sun came to life, the warmth immediately hit Jennie’s skin despite of the room’s AC.

“Ah! The sun, it buuuurrrnsss” Dahyun said dramatically as she ‘melted’ on the floor

“Get up” Jennie said as she rolled her eyes

Giggling, Dahyun got up and smirked at her.

“What is it this time, Dahyun?” Jennie asked as she went back to her seat and glued her eyes back on the computer screens

“You’ve got a delivery from Lisa” Dahyun said, Jennie grinned as she skipped to Dahyun and held her hand out

Dahyun knows about Lisa, she was very persistent on finding out on Jennie’s sudden mood change, so she had pestered the game developer with tons of questions until Jennie finally gave in and told the girl about her special friend. Now Dahyun’s hobby is to tease Jennie, it’s a good thing Jennie ain’t shy about it so she’s gotten used to Dahyun’s craziness.

“This is whipped culture right here” Dahyun said as she smirked and gave Jennie the beautiful bouquet of sunflowers that Lisa sent

“It comes with a card” Dahyun said “That I read” she added

“Yah!” Jennie exclaimed as she smacked the girl’s arm

“Y’all are like some teenagers in a movie, it’s disgustingly beautiful” Dahyun said

“Get out of my office, you twerp or I’ll kick your ” Jennie said

God, spending time with Jisoo has turned her into a sassy one.

“Geez, you’re scary when you’re in love” Dahyun grinned wickedly as she made her way out of Jennie’s office

Jennie then admired the sunflowers Lisa has sent her and grabbed the card inside.

Miss Sunflowers,

Jisoo says I’m whipped

Rosie thinks it’s sweet

A dog passed by and asked for a treat

Later around 7 o’clock I planned a date…

Shakespeare wouldn’t exactly be proud of this poetry, if that’s what you call it but to Jennie it was the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her. So Jennie grabbed her phone and typed in her reply for Lisa.

“Unnie? What will you do when I’m gone?” Ella suddenly asked

Jennie dropped by the hospital to visit Ella, she didn’t bring the girl sunflowers today because her room was already filled with tons of them and Jennie was afraid it would turn into a garden instead of a hospital room. They’ve been goofing around for almost 3 hours already, they’re lucky their mother was not there.

“You won’t be gone” Jennie stated, her smile fading away

“I will. Don’t give me false hope, Unnie” Ella said

Sometimes Jennie wondered how old Ella was, she often talked like a wise old lady, and as surprising as it seems, Jennie often listened to her sister.

“What do you want me to do then?” Jennie asked with a small smile

“I want you to be with the girl who keeps making you smile” Ella said

“H-How did you know about that?” Jennie asked, she grinned at her psychic of a sister
