We first met in high school, both my group and his clicked so well. Seeing him everyday was inevitable, at that time I still don’t know what love was.

He was in the school’s basketball team and a cheeky boy.

He rarely smiled, but with us, he was like the upend sunshine. We weren’t considered close, but we’re fine.

Our friends loved to tease us, but we were always laughing it off.

By the end of high school, I felt that things were a little different. Jiyong was starting to appear around me more often, I rarely see him rushing off for his basketball training and everytime when I asked him, he would shrug his shoulders and said

I tried to pull away everytime because I was scared, but he held on tighter as I struggled.

My sentence was cut off and this was what I heard.

“Yoong, look! It's snowing!”

I looked up, freckles of snow was falling little by little. It was the first snow of the year.

I looked at him and saw that he was smiling so widely. He once told me before, winter was his favourite season. He said he felt the best when he was walking in the snow.

That's when I thought I fell in love on the first snow.

I was wearing a white dress with little floral prints, wore my little black heels that I got for Christmas last year. Even though wearing dresses now didn't seem like a good idea.
