Well, just like this I was conned into babysitting Eunbi for a month. Not saying that I detested it, but it was still kinda awkward between us. Because of this, I have decided to shift over to Jiyong's house for a month. Since I have plenty of time, making this break to its full potential, I might as well use this chance to get closer to Eunbi.

To be honest, I was shocked when she called out my name that day.

Today was just one of those days. You could say that it's progressing but Eunbi was still very quiet around me. I heard from Jiyong that she’s super bubbly in front of Seungri; she’s so cheeky and she almost drove him crazy.

Instead of saying she’s distancing herself from me, I would say she’s awkward when she’s around me. When Jiyong is around, she’s so much better.

“Eunbi, let’s go.” I called out for her, planning to bring her out to meet Jiyong for dinner after his work.

She came out from her room quietly, putting on her shoes. I looked over, noticing that she actually wore them in opposite sides.

I let out a small chuckle and went forward, kneeling in front of her.

“Hey baby, you wore them on the wrong side.” I said while pointing to her shoes. “Come, let me help you.”

I took off her shoes, correcting the direction.

“You must always feel comfortable in your own shoes,” I smiled. “There you go~”

“T-Thank you...”

She grabbed her small bag and rushed out of the door.

I couldn't help but break into a smile at this sight.

We went into the lift. Jiyong’s apartment was located at the 18th storey and we’re heading to B2 where my car was.

It was a quiet ride down with Eunbi beside me, an arm's length away.

Just as I was about to strike a conversation, the lift stopped and the next second, it turned into a pitch darkness.

I stunned for a good few seconds and remembered that Eunbi was here with me.

“Eunbi?” I tried to call out. “Are you alrights?”

Instead of a reply, what came back was her crying.

“Yoona imo!” She cried and I could hear the tremor in her voice.

I stretched my arms out, trying to find her in the dark like a blind man. The moment I touched her, she held onto my arms instinctively. I bent over to carry her into my arms, patting her on the back.

I kept pressing on the emergency alarm, until there was a voice coming from the intercom.

“Hey hey, don’t cry.” She had her head lying on my shoulders as her arms wrapped tightly around my neck, she was still sobbing uncontrollably. “Yoona imo is here.”

As the door opened, I made her sit up and covered her eyes with my hands, protecting her eyes. I read on the papers that it is not good for the eyes to take in the light immediately, especially for children.

“Hello Miss, We are so sorry about the incident.”

I gave a smile and just as I was about to walk away, I heard small little whispers behind my back.
