Jong In’s POV
“So what’s the plan?” I asked Ha Neul. I was sitting on the back of her car while she and Sehun were sitting to the front.
Last night he called Ha Neul telling her that he wanted to join us and so here he is. We decided it would be better for him to drive so that people would not really pay attention to me. Ha Neul was looking at some papers a pen on her ear holding back her hair and a pencil on her hand writing something on the written paper. “What is that?” Sehun asked as he too seemed curious to know. “This is an interview. Sehun is going to take me to your chief pretending I’m going to interview him for the company and what he has to say about your case” she pointed at me and then continued “In fact what I’m going to do is get things from his mouth and see if he had to do anything with the whole situation, because if they knew too then it’s gonna be even harder” Her plans most of the time are definitely clever but no one can deny the craziness of them. “I want to come inside too” I said once I saw the two of them ready to exit the car. “No Jong, do you think Mr. Choi won’t recognize you even if you hide your face?” while Sehun might be right about it I really don’t want to be left out yet again. I want to help myself too and not have others do everything for me. “I’m going to take Ha Neul to Mr. Choi’s office and come back, ok?” by the way he looked at me I knew… he wanted to tell me something, and it was serious. Sehun only stared at me that way when something was going wrong. Whether that was his or my life, it never really mattered.
No matter who the one facing the problem is, we both consider it as ours. “Great, let’s go now and not waste time. Jong In don’t come or I’ll kick your .” I suppressed a laugh from the way Ha Neul threatened me as she gave me the pen that was holding her hair seconds before. Soon both of them left and I remained alone in the car. I was a bit bored because having to wait someone isn’t really the best thing.
I started looking around the car only to find a photo stuck to the ceiling of the car. A photo of Ha Neul, a woman that looked just like her but older and a really handsome boy.
Those must be her mom and brother. I was really curious as to how they looked like and apparently looks run in the family. They all seem to be kind people too. I wonder how her father looks like. “Jong In I have to tell you something” Sehun entered the car abruptly, to the point he scared the heck out of me.
“The police came to my house yesterday. They searched around for you and they also questioned me. Of course I didn’t say anything at all but you have to be really careful from now on. Got it?” “I already know they’re searching for me Sehun. It was only expected they’d reach out to you, let’s not even mention the fact that they are already late into contacting you.” He sighed closing his eyes and resting his head behind on the seat. “I’m afraid is all. What if they find you Jong?” “They don’t know about my connection to Ha Neul and I’ve been really careful when going out, so I’m not that worried.” I tried to smile wanting that unsettling feeling inside me go away. “By the way, how is everything going with you Sehun? I didn’t really ask last time we met so I’m quit curious” my friend here has a secret that only I know and he has really suffered from this for a really long time. “Nothing yet… I still have to find her” “I see… I really hop
