Refreshed from their night together, Sungjae and Joy were both extra peppy today, making the filming atmosphere especially relaxing and lively. The two enjoyed filming all day, not just because they were being pampered, but also because they were spending it together. They took a stroll along the beach and captured the beautiful moment with photos, then they changed into swim suits for the water activities like the banana boat. After taking a shower, they were treated with a massage at the resort. To conclude the day and the year, they went back to the beach after dinner and sat under the beautiful night sky. The view was gorgeous, and the sound of the calm waves crashing onto the shore was very relaxing. Despite filming being over, Sungjae and Joy just didn't want to leave. They continued talking as the crew was packing up. 

Sungjae: This is really nice... Just sitting here, at the beach, with you... When will we get to do this again...?

Joy: Who knows... This trip really was so much fun, I wish it didn't have to end... I wish we don't have to go back

Sungjae: We don't really have a choice, I mean, our group members are waiting for us back home, we've still got year end shows and countless award shows to attend, it really is a busy time for us

Joy: Yea... Just the thought of it makes me feel tired, sometimes I just wanna run away, can you imagine how life would be like if we ran away together, and just... I don't know, stayed here?

Sungjae: It does sound really appealing, getting to escape from all the work and stress, and just spend time together like today... But, we both know we can't actually do that

Joy: Why not?

Sungjae: Because, we're idols, we work, we get tired, but we're still idols, we made a promise with our fans, we made a commitment with our members, we can't just leave them because we love them, I'm BTOB and you're Red Velvet, and most of all, we love our jobs, sure it's difficult sometimes, but what job isn't? The bottom line is, I love singing, and you do too, I see you on stage and you absolutely love performing, I can't possibly think of another job that would suit you more than this

Joy: Really? Not even being a masseuse? 

Sungjae: Haha, well, you'd make a great masseuse, for me only though, but other times, you're perfect at being Joy, Red Velvet's Joy

Joy: *Smiling* Wow oppa, you sound so mature right now, you really sound like an oppa and a sunbae

Sungjae: Of course! I'm your oppa~

Joy: You're right though, I love being Red Velvet, but it's just so exhausting sometimes

Sungjae: Well then, that's what I'm here for! When you're tired, when you wanna run away, I'll be here to recharge your energy and give you all the strength you need, whenever you need it, my shoulder is here for you to lean on

Joy: *Blushing* You sure know what to say to make a girl happy~ You know how I said you're like a present to me earlier during filming?

Sungjae: Yea?

Joy: I really mean it oppa, you've really been like a present to me, among the many good memories I've had this past year, you're in a lot of them, so... thank you

Sungjae: Aww... you're like my present too, it hasn't been an easy year with all the busy schedules, but thanks to you, I get to enjoy myself and just have fun when I'm with you, so thank you too Sooyoung-ah

Their eyes locked and they gazed deeply into each others eyes. The two shared a meaningful smile.

Joy: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year oppa~

Sungjae: You too... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Sooyoung-ah~

They broke into a warm hug as they wrapped their arms around each other tightly, expressing their feelings and their gratitude for each other.

Sungjae: Aigoo what's with this cheesiness, the end of the year really makes people say cheesy stuff huh...

Joy: I know right, and because it's night time too, it got us all emotional and sentimental...

Sungjae: But they year isn't even over yet, we're still gonna meet at year end shows, and we've still gotta attend the MBC Entertainment Award Ceremony together!!
