The door swung open.

The Red Velvet members walked into Joy’s room.

Inside, was Joy sitting on her bed, covered with her blanket. Sungjae was nowhere in sight.

Joy: Oh? Unnie!! You guys are back? How was the schedule?

Wendy: It was good, how are you feeling?

Irene: You feeling better?

Joy: Um... Yea, my fever is gone now

Yeri: Oh? Unnie you made congee by yourself? 

Joy: Huh...?

Yeri: There’s a pot of congee on the stove...

Joy: Oh, um... Yea... I was a little hungry, so...

Seulgi: So you got up to make the congee then went back into bed??

Joy: Yup, I climbed back into bed while I’m waiting for it to boil...

Yeri: But the fire is off...

Irene: The fire turned off by itself?? That’s so freaky...

Joy: Well, it should be ready now... Can you bring two bowls of congee in here for me? 

Yeri: Two? Why two?

Joy: Because, um... I haven’t eaten at all today and... I’m very hungry...?

Seulgi: You’re acting a little weird, but okay, need anything else? 

Joy: No that’s all, thank you

Yeri poured the congee into two bowls and brought them into Joy’s room along with one spoon. 

Joy: Thanks Yeri-ah

Yeri: Ok get some rest unnie

Wendy: If you need anything just shout for us

Joy: Okay thanks, you guys are the best~

Irene: Goodnight!

Finally the door closed. There sound of footsteps grew further and further. 

Joy: *Whispers* All clear, they’re all gone

Sungjae crawled out from under the covers. He sat next to Joy on the bed. They were close to each other as it was only a singles bed.

Sungjae: *Speaks softly* Phew!! That was so close!!! 

Joy: I know right, you were almost caught!! 

Sungjae: Shhh...

Joy: But oppa... How will you leave...? They’re all in the living room right now...

Sungjae: I don’t know... I’ll have to wait until they all go to bed... Then sneak out...?

Joy: We don’t have another choice... 

Sungjae: But why’d you get two bowls of congee?

Joy: Because one of them is for you oppa, you must be hungry too, you left the party without eating

Sungjae: Aww... Sooyoungie is so thoughtful~ But um, we only have one spoon...

Joy: Oh... Right... I completely forgot about that...

Sungjae: I’ll just drink it directly from the bowl

Joy: No no, it’s okay, we can just share the spoon, but do you mind...? I’m sick right now... I don’t want to get you sick too...

Sungjae: It’s okay~ I don’t mind

Sungjae picked up the spoon then scooped up a spoon of congee. He blew on it lightly to cool it down, then fed Joy the spoon of congee.

Joy: Mmm~ It’s so delicious, oppa your cooking is pretty good!!

Sungjae: Really? Well of course, I’m oppa~

Joy: Aigoo aigoo~

Sungjae continued to feed Joy mouthful after mouthful, and very quickly, she finished the entire bowl of congee. 

Sungjae: Aigoo such a good girl, you’re eating so well~ That must mean you’re feeling better

Joy: It’s all thanks to you oppa~

Sungjae finished up his bowl of congee. The two sat side by side as Joy rested her head on his shoulder.

Sungjae: You feeling tired? 

Joy: *Rubbing her eyes* Just a little...

Sungjae: Then sleep, I’ll get off the bed so you can sleep properly

Joy: No oppa, I’m very comfortable right now, oppa is so warm and cozy

Sungjae: Really? Then just sleep here then, I’ll stay here

Joy: Oppa...

Sungjae: Yea?
