To Mr Xu Minghao

You came up to me today and I think that was the biggest shock of my life.

Never have I ever thought there would be a day where you come up to me. I was always fretting about the other way around so I never imagined this happening.

I couldn't understand why you would want to come up to me though.

Plus, I was still mad at you.

I'd cried and cried and I'd fought multiple anxiety attacks the evening before because of you.

But when the words left your mouth, my anger and disappointment deteriorated. 

Asking me if I was okay made me feel like I was.

Your eyes scanned my face- my makeup covered face that hid the bruises. 

You scanned my entire being and I would like to have thought that it wasn't because you knew I'd gotten hurt.

I would have liked to think it was more than that.

Either way, after you got your answer, you smiled at me and wished me good luck and then you were gone.

Like you'd never been there in the first place.

I wish you would have stayed.

Your presence brought me comfort, Xu Minghao and I really wish you knew that.
