To Mr Xu Minghao

I missed school again today but when I got home from my appointment, Chan was there.

My mom was bright and happy when she had seen that I did have a friend.

She had been worried.

When I offered him something to eat or drink, mom took over and made me sit down to chat with Chan.

It wasn't that she wanted me to speak with him - or maybe it was that, I could be wrong- but it was more than she thought I needed to rest rather than use up my energy.

Chan was a little confused but seemed to catch on well because he didn't ask.

Instead, he handed me notes from my classes. My classes that nobody knew I took. I frowned.

I had asked him how he'd gotten these notes and his reply was something like this:

"Oh, um, we found out that Jeon Wonwoo is in your classes so Minghao asked if he could get notes for you."

Xu Minghao, I don't know how much you remember, but that was a kind act.

I didn't expect you to do something like that for me. Whether you remember me or not; whether you remember the times we shared before you walked away or not, that didn't matter.

You did something for me.

And I could never thank you enough.
