Irene woke up feeling pretty good, like she woke up on the right side of the bed. But before she could move up she could feel weight on her. Seulgi was still sleeping soundlessly, their legs were entagled together and Seulgi had one of her arms wrapped around Irene's waist. Irene felt herself blushing and she was glad that the bear was still sleeping so she doesn't have to see her face like this. But the older girl couldn't help but feel giddy, waking up with girlfriend beside her in the morning feels wonderful.

Irene decided to remove herself from the younger girl although she didn't really want to but she had to go up to give something to her. Irene quietly left the room and went downstairs to the kitchen, as she was walking there she passed by the camera she left behind. She got the camera in excitement and made her way to the kitchen, there were maids all ready waiting there. They asked Irene if she wanted anything for breakfast but Irene dismissed them and told them that she'll be the one cooking today.

Irene was overjoyed as she watched the video, it happened again. A woman in white with long, dark hair appeared and walked through the hallway, it was dark and the woman's hair covered her face so she couldn't see how the woman looked like. But it was not the time to be wondering about it at the moment, right now she has to make breakfast for Seulgi.

Knowing her bear, she needs to make a lot of food. So Irene puts on an apron and starts getting to work. She was busy cooking when she heard footsteps coming, she turned to see her father all dressed up to go to work.

"Good morning." He said, which she replied the same before going back to cooking.

"Umm... I hope you have a good day with Seulgi." He tries to start a conversation.

"We will, thank you. Where's mom?" 

"Ah, she's still upstairs getting prepared but I'll be leaving first, important meeting coming up. I'd like you to visit."

"To the meeting?" Irene furrows her eyebrows.

"No no, to the building. You know see how your family's company doing, you can show Seulgi around too." 

"That's a good idea, we can go to the school after since the company is on the way there."

"Great. Bye." Mr. Bae smiles in anticipation before waving off goodbye.

"Bye." Irene mumbles back. 'Nothing is wrong with visiting the company, it's not going to change my opinion and decision' Irene thinks to herself. She's just going visit.

As she was done preparing breakfast, she puts it all on a tray and goes upstairs to bring it to Seulgi. Cooking food for Seulgi is a normal thing since she's been doing from time to time but today it's in her own home where she normally let's the staff do everything for her. She's cooking for her and it feels like they're a married couple. 

"You just started dating and now you're thinking about marriage?! Slow down Joohyun." Irene tells herself, she quietly opens the door to Seulgi's room and places the tray on the table.

"Seul?" Irene pokes her cheek, "You have to wake up or else the food will be cold." Irene continues poking her. Amazingly the younger girl's eyes opens.

"Wow, you woke up early." Irene says in amazement.

*Yawn* "Yeah, I guess I did." In reality when Irene left Seulgi alone on the bed, Seulgi woke up immediately because she couldn't feel the presence of her girlfriend, but she couldn't tell that to her because she felt embarrassed. The bed felt empty without her resulting her to wake up. She wanted to go call Irene to come back and stay in bed with her but she was afraid that Irene was doing something important.

"You made me breakfast?" Seulgi notices the food and the aroma is filling the room. 

"How proud of you to say it's yours." Irene replies and she inwardly smiles as she sees Seulgi's sullen reaction. "It's our breakfast, c'mon let's eat." Irene smiles widely as she gets tackled into a hug as Seulgi thanks her multuple times for the food. After eating breakfast in bed they immediately showered and dressed for the day but before leaving they happened to bump into Yeri. 

"Unnie. You have to be careful." Yeri shook her head as she recalled what happened this morning.

"Why?" Irene look confused as she went closer to her sister and held her hands. But Yeri separated their hands to flick her sister's forhead.

"Yah! What was that for?!" Irene was seriously gonna hit her sister back but Seulgi went to her and craddled her head. She kissed the red spot that Yeri had left.

"This is what I meant by be careful. I knocked on your door early in the morning only to find out you weren't in your room, meaning you're in Seulgi's room. Dad was going to ask you something and was about to enter your room luckily I was there and told him you were in the shower." Yeri applauded herself for being such a good actor in front of Mr. Bae. Irene figured the reason why her dad wanted to see her was the reason of their conversation at the kitchen.

"Thank you but what were you doing early in the morning? What time exactly?" Irene asked.

Yeri thought about it, "Around...uhhhh.... 5 am?" She wasn't sure herself.

"Why were you awake?"

"Nothing's wrong with being awake this early, besides I'm going to school." Yeri answers her back as if it was a normal thing.

"It's Saturday though." Seulgi chimes in. And Irene sends of a cold glare to the younger Bae, "Why would you have to go to school on a Saturday hmm?"

"W-what I meant was I have something to do about school. I'm heading to my classmates house to do a school project. Bye unnies!" Yeri says quickly before heading off.

"I don't get why she couldn't just say that in the first place?" Irene thinks that Yeri is hiding something, it can't be a mere school project. 

"Well she's not a kid, she can do what she wants."

"She just turned 20. She's still a baby!!" Irene whines, there's no way that her younger sister is an adult. "God, please turn her back to a kid, she was so much cuter and nicer." Irene started fake crying.

"Are we going to school right now?" Seulgi asks as they sit together in the back seat of the car. Normally Irene would drive for them but since their in her home town, the driver insisted to be the one to bring them to their destination.

"No, we'll be stopping by one of my family's company buildings. The one in Daegu is the main building so it's much bigger than the others." 

When they entered all the workers all bowed and greeted Irene and of course Seulgi, whoever is a friend of the Baes is someone important. "Is this your first time here?" Seulgi is amazed by the interior design, everything looks expensive and exquisite. 

"No, I come here at least twice a year. Parents' doing though." Irene replies, as they head to the elevator. All the people occuying the elevator left so that it was only Irene and Seulgi inside, Seulgi felt embarrassed and sad because now the people have to wait for another ride. But Irene said this is normal for her.

They passed by some offices, they could see that everyone was busy, people were walking with papers in their hands, others were conversing about new equipment, and others were typing in their computers. 

"Is there a specific reason we're here?" Seulgi wonders as they continue walking, Irene told her they just need to go to her office. Seulgi was of course shocked to know that she had an office even though she wasn't working here. Irene explained that it wasn't exactly an office but rather a place where she and Yeri could stay.

"My dad asked me to visit and that's what we're going to do. So I'm going to ask all the heads of the departments about some stuff about our company." Seulgi realized that this is a chance to help Irene think about working for the company.

"Do you enjoy visiting here whenever you do?"

Irene thought about it before replying, "Well, I guess I do. I did take a business major in college so it's nice to use what I learn in real life." They've arrived at her office and Seulgi tries not to get intimidated by all the people inside waiting for them. Apparently all the people Irene needed to meet was already there.

"Do you want to leave? It might be uncomfortable and boring for you to watch us talk. Or if you like we can go out?" Irene looks at Seulgi with sad eyes, she felt bad that their supposed 'haven' was being occupied. 

Seulgi shook her head, "I want to see how you guys work and talk. I may not have a major in business but I'm pretty sure I can understand and maybe even help." She seemed excited and happy to watch her girlfriend work. 

"If you say so but just sit near the corner okay? Don't want to have those men staring at what's mine." Irene says before turning on her serious business mode. One thing that almost made Irene choose this as her career was because everyone said she was like her parents, hard-working, intelligent, capable, and much more. She felt motivated and eager to show the public that she was, unlike some drama's or books out there, Irene wanted to be like her parents. But I guess her heart just said no because in the end it was creating games.

Seulgi watched and listened as the people talked, there were good things and bad things being said and she would always look at Irene's reaction. Her expression remained the same all throughout the meeting though. Seulgi was amazed with Irene, she's 100% sure that if Irene were to work here she'll be great and can contribute well to the company.

Seulgi wouldn't lie but seeing her older girlfriend work was pretty hot.

Seulgi hit herself for thinking that. 'Now is not the time for that!' Seulgi was busy beating herself up in her mind that she didn't notice everyone left the room except her and Irene.

"Was it that boring?" Irene breaks the silence.

"Huh?" Seulgi looks up to meet Irene's eyes. "O-Oh no it wasn't. Although I didn't understand everything, I got gist of what you're talking about. I just spaced  out a bit at the end." Seulgi scratches her cheek in embarrassment. Irene giggled at the sight of how cute Seulgi was. 

"Let's go?" Irene reached for Seulgi's hand and intertwined them before they head out once more.

"We're here!" Irene says in excitement, that even their driver was seen smiling at Irene's behavior. "Everyone says they can't wait to leave school, but for me it's the best time of your life."

"Even with all the homeworks and tests?" 

Irene smiles, "Even with all the homeworks and tests."

"After waking up from my coma everyone tried to help me remember right? Nothing seemed to work but going to my highschool..... I just felt calm here. There's also a bridge nearby, students like to pass by there and enjoy the view of the river." The two enter the school grounds, luckily no one's here since it's the weekend. Irene was able to ask permission from the principle to let her come here. And since her family is one of the investors of the school of course they allowed.

"Hey about this? Let's act like we're in school. We'll be normal students in a normal school day." Seulgi clapped her hands with her idea.

"Okay since there's no one around. I'm your senior though." Irene points out, she takes a deep breath before getting into character. "Ah, good morning Seulgi-ssi." Irene greeted the younger girl and started to walk along the hallway.

"Morning Irene-sunbaenim, are you busy right now?" Seulgi walked alongside Irene but makes sure to be a few steps back.

"I don't think so, no. Why?" 

"Then can I walk you to your classroom?" Seulgi did a mini air punch when she saw the older girl nod her head. This time Seulgi was walking closely to the senior student.

"Sunbaenim, are you dating someone right now?" Seulgi asks.

"Don't call me sunbaenim, it's too long. Just call me Irene."

"Irene....unnie? How about Joohyun?" Seulgi started saying Irene's real name again again. "Joohyun. Joohyun-unnie. Joo. Hyun. Hyunnie." 

Irene started blushing hearing the younger girl call her name like that. "Fine whatever is good for you." She let her hair fall in her face so Seulgi won't see her smiling like a love sick fool.

"Hyun~!" Seulgi teased a bit more. "You didn't answer my question."

"And why should I tell something that important to you?"

"So I'll know whether or not to persue you after this." Seulgi said confidently.

Irene playfully rolled her eyes, "Since you really want to know.... I am."

"Do I know her?" 

"Yes, she's younger than me, and taller too. She's quite smart but isn't that good in cooking. She is someone I really like, she's so beautiful that she can pass off as a model."

'​​​​​​Model? Is she talking about Joy?'

"When she has a goal, she'll do her best to achieve it. She's my best friend and I fell in love with everything about her. Her smile, her laugh, her dreams, her faults, her weaknesses, her everything."

"She sounds wonderful." Seulgi said with little enthusiasm, thinking that maybe the person Irene was talking about was Joy. But Irene pokes Seulgi's forhead, hard.

"It's you idiot. Why don't you look happy? Did you actually think I was talking about someone else?" Irene raises a brow in doubt. 

"O-Of course not I was just acting." Seulgi denies.

"Sure you are. Now can my younger girlfriend say good luck before I head to class?" Irene stops by a near open classroom. But instead of words Seulgi gently pushes Irene, gently, to the lockers and places one arm near Irene's head. 

"W-what are you doing?" Irene couldn't help but stutter.

"Wishing you good luck." Seulgi says before swiftly capturing the shorter girl's lips. Their lips didn't seem to disconnect, like they were magnets. Seulgi bit Irene's lower lip making her gasp allowing Seulgi to slip in her tongue. The two continued their make out until they had to part to catch their breaths, they both were breathing heavily.

"W-were fricking like those couples you see making out in the hallway before class." Irene whines, this was totally different to the person she actually is at school.

"I think we're the 'it' couple in school." Seulgi grins.

"I think I'm glad that we didn't go to same school, I don't think I'll be able to concentrate in class because of you." Irene says as she pushes Seulgi back because Irene doesn't think she can think straight having Seulgi so close to her.

"Awww I'm touched, that means that you'll be thinking about me all the time." 

"Whatever. You know if that's your way of saying good luck I don't mind you saying that everyday before I leave to work." Irene suggests making Seulgi flush red, she has no idea where the heck she got that confidence from.

"We'll see." Seulgi replies with a safe answer. "So have fun in class?"

"Nah, I give up with this student acting. Let me show you around properly." Irene tugs the younger girl sleeve before introducing the bear to the different places like the dance studio, pool, gym, cafeteria, other classrooms, and lastly the roof top.

"I'm amazed that this place is open. Seul, look!" Irene points to river nearby, there was a small bridge connecting the two lands. "It's so pretty." But Seulgi wasn't looking at the river it the view, she was busy appreciating the person in front of her.

"You looked pretty good today." Seulgi speaks up.

"That's random."

"I meant when you were at your company. Seeing you work and talk with all those adults, you looked so cool."

"Thanks." Irene really appreciated it. 

"Why don't you work there?" Here goes.

Irene stared stared blank at Seulgi. "Because I like my job already, I thought you knew that."

"I'm not saying you full on work there, like take over or anything, I meant like do something small."

"What made you bring this up?"

"I just thought since you said you took a business major, wouldn't it be good to use what you've learned? Plus Yeri is already working there too even when she's available. I think it's fair that you help out too." 

"Fair?" Irene mutters, she doesn't understand why Seulgi is asking this of her but it clicks in her head. Her father is asked Seulgi to do this. This filled Irene with rage, (1) she thinks her father talked to Seulgi about this and (2) Seulgi is actually doing it. She didn't show any sign of her finding out. And just gives out a fake smile hoping that the younger girl could buy it.

"I'll think about it. Right now let's talk about that, okay?"

"I'm sorry Hyun." Seulgi says right after with her head down. Irene smiles when she heard her nickname and lifts Seulgi's chin so that she can look at her.

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault. I just don't want to think about work when I finally get a break." She holds Seulgi's hands and moves her fingers in a circular motion. 

Irene will have to talk with her father about this when she gets home.
