Irene was sitting on a big, leather couch as she waited for Joy to return. She observed her surroundings and noticed despite Joy's fame and succession, she's quite humble and lives in not such an extravagant place. She was minding her own business when she saw something run towards her making her scream.

"AHHHHH!!!"

Joy who was on phone call with her manager heard a dolphin scream coming from her living room immediately ended the phone call to run to Irene. She arrived to the scene of Irene running away from Haetnim, her dog. Irene noticed Joy standing there and quickly went behind her, crashing her body to the back of Joy.

"P-please take it away, it's scaring me." She said as she moved Joy backwards as she saw the dog coming towards them.

"That 'it' is my dog, Haetnim, and it's a girl. C'mere girl!" Joy let out a short whistle and kneels down as Haetnim went to Joy. Irene however went farther from the two. She watched as Joy started ruffling the dog's hair and petting her fur.

"Haetnim misses you." Joy says as she looks up to meet Irene's eyes. 

"So you mean that you had this dog when we were friends?" Asked Irene, still not letting her guard down. 

"Are not were. We're still friends now aren't we?"

Irene thought about it before nodding. "Yeah, we are."

"Good! Haetnim, you go play somewhere else okay? Mommy is going to talk with our guest so you go now. You'll have your time with her later." As if the dog understood, Haetnim left the room with small barks.

"But I don't want to spend time with Haetnim, she scares me." Irene says with a disapproved tone. Joy could only laugh at her reply before signalling her to sit back on the couch with her. Irene isn't scared of zombies or ghosts. Nope. She's scared of dogs.

"Since we're here, what do you want to do?" Joy asks.

"Aren't you the host? Shouldn't you entertain me?" Irene replied innocently. Joy gave off a smirk before sitting closely to Irene, she bent down near her ear and whispered, "There are many ways I can entertain you, but I really want to spend my time with you, ummm....normally."

Irene face turned red as she felt Joy's breath hitting her ears. "T-that's not what I meant." She pushed Joy (with little force) away from her.

"I know, I'm just joking. You have very red cheeks did you know that?" Joy decided to .

"Yah! Shut up!" Irene quickly turned her head away so Joy wouldn't be able to see her face. And then suddenly a short pain in the brain struck Irene. Luckily it was short but an image appeared on her mind.

"Ack!" Irene held her head with both hands.

Joy who was instantly worried placed one hand on Irene shoulder and the other touching her cheek. "Hey, are you okay?"

Irene gave off a slight nod and closed her eyes. It stayed shut for a couple of seconds before opening her eyes to see Joy's worried ones. "Gosh you scared me." Joy engulfed Irene into a hug. Irene who hasn't done much hugging unless it's her sister, Wendy (occasionally), and Seulgi, was suprised but reciprocated the gesture.

"I remember." Irene says softly.

"What?"

"I remember that I was the one that gave Haetnim to you." Hearing those words Joy let out a big smile recalling the day when it happened. 

<<< FLASHBACK

Joy and Irene who were still in highschool, a year before they got together, were walking beside each other looking at the shops near them. It was their summer break and they decided to look around out of boredom.

"Unnie! Unnie!" Joy exclaimed as she started jumping and pulling Irene's hand.

"What?"

"Look! Look!" And she followed to where Joy was pointing at. A pet shop.

"Oh hell no." Irene was about to reason out to Joy why she didn't want to go there but she saw the younger giving her puppy eyes to her and she just couldn't resist. 

"Fi-" Irene wasn't even able to finish her sentence before being pulled by Joy towards the store.

They saw all the pets around, there was snakes, rabbits, cats, dogs spiders, and so much more. Irene stuck to Joy like a koala, silently screaming in her mind of how scared she was.

"Unnie looks it's you!" Joy held up a bunny as Irene rolled her eyes. Irene wanted to get back at Joy so she looked around to see an animal that represents her. Her eyes stopped at a little yellow thing.

"This is you Joy. A chick." Hoping to slightly offend Joy but instead she heard a squeal of delight. 

"OMG! I'm soo cute!" She says as she looks at the chicks chirping at them. This was a better reward, seeing Joy happy rather than getting back at her.

After a few minutes, Joy decided to get a dog on which she named Haetnim. Irene paid for it and together they bought all the necessary things for the dog.

"I'm never going to visit your house ever again." Irene says as they walk back to Joy's house. 

"Awww, seriously? Haetnim is so cute!! Aren't you girl?" Haetnim gave a bark. "See? She agrees. Besides I'll just bring her to your house then."

"No. I'll ask the guards to shoot it. And you might influence Yeri to get a pet as well and I can't have that."

"You wouldn't dare!"

"I'm joking." Was she?

"You're a meanie." Irene stuck her tongue out at Joy.  "Haetnim?" Haetnim looked at her owner's voice. "Attack Irene-unnie!"

You could hear Irene's screams of fear, Haetnim's barks, and Joy's laughter as they ran to Joy's house. "I regret buying you the dog!!"

>>> PRESENT TIME

"Okay, so let's talk since that's what you came to do. After that you can decide whether on not you're going to stay or leave." Joy says.

"Is our conversation going to lead up to that? Besides I brought sleeping clothes and I told my sister I wasn't going home today." Irene replies.

"Home? You're going back to Daegu?"

"No, I meant Velvet Suite, the place I'm staying." Joy gave off a nod before starting to talk to Irene about the past.

They started with the little things like how they met, their schools and classes, other memories that Irene doesn't recall and wished she could recall them. They talked for hours until Irene asked.

"Why doesn't Yeri like you?"

"That's because I hurt you."

"But you could always be forgiven, I forgive you for whatever you did."

" I don't think you'll say that if you knew what I did."

"Then tell me."

But instead of answering Joy stood up, "It's getting late, let's take bath before sleeping." Irene didn't like how Joy avoided the question but still followed her upstairs to her room. 

"After this we can talk more and I can show you some videos and pictures of us when we were younger." Joy went to the bathroom and started filling the bathtub with water.

"You cant take a bath first." Irene suggested but rather being answered she was lifted from the floor and put into the bathtub.

"W-what's that for?" She says with confusion as she gets soaked by the water. Joy joined her right after (they're both clothed btw).

"We used to do this. Just sit in the tub and talk about things. Splash around with the water." Joy made their positions where Irene was sitting in front of her, back facing her, and between her legs. So it's like Joy backhugging her. There was a comfortable silence for how many minutes before Irene destroyed it.

"What did we do when we were together? Hang-out? Do stuff like this?" Again Joy didn't answer her but she held Irene's chin and made her face her. Irene was expecting words or something, anything! Anything but a kiss.

Irene felt Joy's lips being pressed onto hers. But it lasted for like 2 seconds before they were parted. Irene had her first kiss stolen and she's not counting Bogum because that really doesn't count to her. Joy smiled before standing up and grabbing a towel and throwing it to Irene (which she caught) and a towel for herself. "I'll bring your clothese here so you can change." And with that Irene was left alone in the tub with a shocked and confused expression.

'What did the kiss mean? Did we kiss when we hangout? We're we something before? Friends don't kiss unless you're bf and gf. Was I gay? Am I gay?'

All these thoughts were popping in her mind. People shouldn't really kiss people to answer them because all it does is cause confusion. Irene got up and Joy gave her her clothes.

As Joy, who was already changed, waited for Irene to be done. She already prepared everything, scrapbooks, photobooks, graduation books and videos. She was scared she was coming at Irene to quickly,  this is only their second meeting. Her thoughts were distracted by the phone of Irene ringing.

She looked to see the ID caller:

Yerimie♡ is calling you

Joy didn't want to answer because (1) it's Irene's privacy, (2) Yeri will know that they're together, and (3) Yeri will obviously separate them. But hey, the temptation to see Yeri pissed was stronger. So she answered the call.

BOLD is Joy        ITALICS is Yeri

"Unnie~ I missed you!" Their was a sound of aegyo.

"Really? I thought you despised me?"

There was silence after and Joy checked if the call ended but Yeri was still there.

"Joy! What the fu-"

"Language Yeri, you don't want your sister to hear you." 

"Where is she?!"

"With me."

"Where are you? What did you do to her?" Joy was obviously enjoying this.

"You make it sound like I abducted her."

"Cuz you most certainly did."

"She came by her own free will. Byeee~!"

"I'm not don-"

Joy ended that call with a devilish grin. Yeri is probably going to call again so she turned the phone off. Timing too because Irene just went out of the bathroom. Joy couldn't help but stare at her, she was wearing a yellow hoodie that covered her shorts, showing off her legs.

"You look so cute." Joy complimented her. 

"Thanks, you don't look so bad yourself." Irene was referring to Joy's chicken pajamas. Irene sat beside Joy on her bed and the model couldn't help but smell Irene's clothes. 

"Tht's weird." Joy says earning a confused look from Irene.

"What is?"

"Are you using a different fabric softener?" Instead of the normal lavender scente she uses it was replaced with citrus.

"No. Oh you meant my clothes! This," she tugged the hoodie, "This isn't mine. It's Seulgi's, I kinda stole it. Hehe." Irene says happily. "That's why it smells different."

"How is Seulgi?"

Irene thought about it before answering, "Well, she seems fine. Her last year in law school is about to start and we planned to spend the last few days together since we're going to both be busy. Her with school and me with my work." Irene could go on but she suddenly stops as she recalls something.

"I'm sorry." Irene says.

"What for?"

"The case of you against Mr.Kang. I remember me rescuing you and putting that man to jail. I could remember the feeling of hating that man and yet here I am, helping the Kangs. Freeing the man that is guilty." Irene continued, "But I'm not truly sorry. Because Seulgi and her mom were facing a hard time without him and I'm happy to help them get the man of their family back. I'm happy that I was able to make Seulgi smile again. So I'm sorry but yet I'm not sorry." Irene finished.

Joy could understand what the girl meant with her last sentence. She could only smile on Irene's determination to help her friend, but she could feel a little jealous of how much Irene cared for Seulgi. The way Irene smiled when she talked about her was very bright just like when she and Joy were together. 

But Joy feels confident, she will be able to get back with Irene. And Joy swore to herself that if she could rewind time, she would do everything differently. She would still have Irene right now, no problems, no amnesia.

"Joy?" Irene called her name but it didn't work. Irene started snapping her fingers it still didn't work. So she tried something new. She kissed her cheek. Joy immediately snapped off her thoughts and touched the area where Irene just kissed her. Her face was becoming so red.

"Cool, I didn't know you were like me." Joy looked stunned and confused. "You have red cheeks as well."

Both Irene and Joy enjoyed their sleepover, Irene got to learn more about the past more from Joy rather than anyone else. And Joy got to learn what Irene's been doing these past years. 

"If I could rewind time, I would have loved you more." Joy whispered.

The next morning

Joy and Irene ate a good breakfast before telling each other goodbye. They promised to meet again because Irene liked Joy's company and she wanted more answers from her regarding their relationship.

Joy dropped Irene off by 9:45. And Irene made her way to the elevator. She was waiting to reach her own floor when the elevator stopped. The doors opened to reveal Seulgi.

They stared at each other for awhile, both not saying a thing before Irene decided to break the silence, "Hi." She said with a gentle smile. But before Seulgi could answer the elevator door closed. 

Both Seulgi and Irene pressed the button so that the doors could open again. Once it did Seulgi quickly embraced the older girl. 

"What's with the hug?" Irene asks as she makes herself comfortable in her arms. She missed Seulgi's hugs. "Yeri told me that you were with Sooyoung so I got worried." Seulgi answers truthfully.

"And why would you be worried?"

"I don't know I just don't trust her." They broke off the hug and both laughed awkwardly. Irene flicked the bear's forhead. "What's that for?!" Seulgi start to rub on the area where a red mark was forming.

"You've been with Yeri too long. Sooyoung isn't that bad. Plus I have so much to tell you."

"Are you ok?" Seulgi asked suddenly.

"Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know you seem tired and tensed. Is something the matter." Seukgi asked worriedly. Seulgi could read Irene's eyes and know what's going in her mind. Irene could only sigh and answer her.

"As much as I loved my time with Joy yesterday, I'm just confused. I'm tired mentally and emotionally. I tried to sleep well but I couldn't, I had to lie to Joy that I slept peacefully last night. Something just kept coming to my head and it stressed me out." Irene said.

"And what's that?"

Irene looked down, "Joy, or you know her as Sooyoung, s-she k-kinda ummm..." Seulgi was waiting for her to finish her sentence. 

"She kissed me."

Seulgi didn't know why she felt pain in her chest when she heard Irene's words. And Irene didn't know why she felt so bad and guilty telling this to Seulgi"

"We should just talk about that tomorrow. For now let's go to your room."

As the lay together on Irene's bed, Seulgi could see Irene tossing and turning. She said she was tired so why wasn't she asleep?

"Are you still thinking about it? Seulgi was referring to the kiss.

"Yeah."

"Do you want to talk about it?"

Irene turned to face Seulgi, "No, if I talk about it I feel like I'll just think about it more."

Seulgi moved closer to Irene,  she doesn't know why but learning that Joy and Irene had a sleepover made her want to spend more time with the doe-eyed girl more.

"I know how to make you stop thinking about the kiss."

Irene who was eager to know moved closer as well. "What is it?"

Irene then got kissed on the lips by Seulgi. Irene reciprocated the kiss for a short second before their lips were separated. Irene was staring at Seulgi, who decided to close her eyes, with her face looking like a tomato. Seulgi wrapped her arm around Irene's waist bringing her closer, making Irene even more red.  

Seulgi wasn't fully sure why she did that but she didn't regret it one bit. And she had a smile on her face as she fell asleep. Irene wasn't sure why she kissed back butbshe didn't regret it either because Seulgi's lips were soft...GO TO SLEEP JOOHYUN!

People should really not use kisses as an answer. It left Irene more confused but with Seulgi beside her she was able to sleep quickly.  And together they were in dreamland.
