Chapter Two
He Wouldn'tJungkook still wasn’t acting himself and Jin was worried. The first time he’d noticed something was up had been a week ago during dance practice. They’d ordered food for Hoseok’s birthday and Jungkook had barely touched it. He’d admitted he felt a little sick but had shrugged it off as no big deal and at the time Jin had agreed with him. It was the time of year when everyone ran the risk of getting sick and Jungkook was overall a healthy kid, he’d get over it.
Only he didn’t seem to be getting over it.
Jungkook liked to eat, this was one of the reasons Jin enjoyed spending time with him. And because eating with Jungkook was something he did often it didn’t take long for him to notice Jungkook’s appetite wasn’t what it used to be. Yes, on the surface it seemed like nothing much had changed. One of Jungkook’s favourite things to say was still “But Hyung, I’m starving.” But if you watched him it was clear to see he wasn’t enjoying his food the way he usually did. Jin had caught him on more than one occasion frowning down at his plate as if it had offended him. Then he’d eat a mouthful or two before pushing the dish away. If there was rice on offer he’d usually eat that but that didn’t lessen the worry Jin felt every time they sat down to a meal. Practice was taking a lot out of them, he needed to eat.
