Chapter Five
He Wouldn'tJungkook had been standing in front of the camera, listening to the photographer’s instructions, nodding along, when out of nowhere a wave of nausea had hit him. He’d found himself clenching and unclenching one fist, the photographer’s words rolling over him as he willed his stomach to settle. Unfortunately, his stomach didn’t want to listen and when the photographer, having realised Jungkook was no longer listening to him had asked him if he was okay he’d answered with a quick shake of his head. The photographer’s expression had morphed to one of concern and Jungkook had found himself blurting out the words “Can I…” and “…bathroom”, his eyes going to the door. Catching the desperation in his voice the photographer had nodded and Jungkook had swiftly exited the room.
He hadn’t realised Jin had followed him, not until there’d been nothing left for him to throw up and and out of breath he’d sat back on his ankles, feeling shaky. That’s when he’d heard a foot scuff on the floor behind him and had turned his head slightly to find Jin standing behind him.
He’d opened his mouth, wanting to tell him not to worry but Jin spoke first.
“Don’t bother.” He said.
“Don’t bother what?” Jungkook asked.
“Don’t bother telling me you’re okay when I can see that you’re not.” Jin told him.
Jungkook opened his mouth to argue then realised how pointless that would be. Jin had just watched him throw up the entirety of his breakfast, it wasn’t a fight he was going to win. Sighing in defeat he put one hand on the floor and made to get up.
