It has been 5 days since we last met on that summer beachy day. We agreed to go on a trip to Athen's ancient ruins soon. It sounded perfect and it felt so perfect too. But perhaps exited too soon ?

We went out early that day around 6 am but it was worth it. I can't describe how beautiful and amazing it was, we spent the whole day listening to legendary stories that people before us used to explain how the world worked. They were somehow logic and very creative, you can see the illustrations and wall arts everywhere telling stories about unknown people who, once, were Gods and Goddesses ruling this earth.

At the end of the day, we decided to take a tour in downtown Athens, but it was way too crowded, we didn't know why actually, maybe it was always like this I truly don't know but it felt just too busy. Three of us agreed to go have dinner at some traditional restaurant and we were walking in the street, passing through the crowds and I was walking last behind them. A third wheel like feeling me deep inside as I tried to suppress my feelings.

For some reason, I felt suffocated, I hate places which are just overcrowded, I couldn't wait until we reached that restaurant. At some point, I looked down at my shoes and my laces were open so I automatically stopped to lace them up and when I looked up, I was totally alone. People passing by me but I couldn't recognize any of them. Where did they go? I couldn't find anyone through the crowd and it felt just so wrong, my stomach twisted as I kept walking straight, I had no idea where I was going I just kept walking and walking hoping I would find them somewhere close by but that didn't happen. So I stopped near a big white building, I had no idea what it was and I didn't care, I just kept staring at the people walking by me not knowing what to do. My phone was dead, it was a long day after all, and the battery didn't last the whole time, of course, stupid smartphones.

Fortunately, I still remember the name of the hotel where we were staying so I took a taxi, gave him the name and I went back there.

By the time I got there, it was already past 11 pm. I put my things away and charged my phone, I was surprised when I didn't find any missed calls, no one called me. I just got lost into my own thoughts, I was lost in this big city and I went back home but no one asked where I was.

Honestly, I was really disappointed, I made a cup of coffee and I sat next to the window looking at cars as they passed by in the street and then, a Taxi pulled over. And there was Emma and Taeyong coming down. They walked side by side inside the Hotel's garden. Taeyong's room was on the other side but he seemed to be walking Emma here and they both stopped in front of the door talking, then, laughing and finally staring at each other.

I knew it right there. He kissed her. I jumped away from the window and closed the curtains. Not because I was mad but because I was afraid that they would see me. I walked back to my bed, I couldn't control my heart beating so fast it hurt, and with tears in my eyes I muffled a gasp. It hurt so badly, it hurts even more when she is my friend, I want the best for her.

Minutes later, the door opened, I wiped my tears and walked out to her

"Hi" she screamed the first thing she saw me "Where were you? Why did you leave like that?" She was worried, she was too sweet and I knew how she acts when she was faking it and she wasn't 

"I lost you guys so I just took a cab and came back here"

"We looked all over for you and when we couldn't find you, we came back" she pouted

"Did you have dinner?"

"What dinner? We couldn't find you how could we have dinner without you?"

"Aww baby I'm sorry," I said but with true feelings and I was sorry

She hugged me and said "It's ok I'm just glad you are fine"

She hugged me and I smiled. I love you, my sweet friend, I can only wish the best for you even if it means that it will be the worst for me.
