The next morning, I woke up early 6 am or so, I played with the blankets on my bed, I felt happy for some reason as last night's events came floating into my mind. I sat up, inhaling a deep breath, and smiling as I let it out. 

Jaehyun, oh yes, we are going out today.

I reached my phone, even though it was only 6 am I wanted to send him a text asking when we will meet and make sure he won't forget, I couldn't wait for our date ... Did I just say date? No, it's just a ... a .... what should I call it? a meeting? I don't know but when I held my phone I found an unread text message, it was  from Jaehyun, he sent it around 4 am 

"See you tomorrow at 9 am, we are having breakfast"

I smiled "Somebody couldn't sleep last night," I said to myself.

Taeyong and Emma are getting married, how cool is that? I don't feel stressed anymore and I don't feel that fuzzy feeling when I hear the name Taeyong anymore. It's true, I really don't, but when the name Jaehyun comes up, I feel warm inside. Whenever I remember him, I remember his smile, his goofy attitude, the sweet ways he uses to make me smile. He warms me up inside. 

I woke up, took a shower, and picked an outfit, a simple one, a casual one. Blue jeans, a white shirt, and a simple wool jacket. Jaehyun and I are so comfortable with each other, I don't need to dress up for this

At 9 am, my phone rang "Hey Good morning" he said

"Good morning"

"I hope you're ready cause I'm downstairs"

"I'm ready, I'll come down just give me a second"

And that's how our day started "Breakfast at Alfred's ?" he asked and I busted out laughing 

"That dude is lit"

"In a good way" he said laughing too as he was monitoring the driving wheel, I eyed him "You look good today" I said, he gave me a confused look "It's nothing much though" he said 

"Yeah but I like it"

He smiled "Ok thanks, I don't like what are you wearing though"

"Really?" I was a little shocked looking down at my outfit 

"No," he said having his way to an evil laugh

"Thank you Jaehyun really, thank you" I said mocking him

We had that breakfast at Alfred's. He was so funny acting so glamorous, that man is a living diva 

"Oh darling you look so pretty today" I mimicked him with a funny voice as Jaehyun drove away from the restaurant and he laughed so bad at it "Stop it," he told me 

"Alfred is just so sassy"

"Don't say that" 

"I didn't say that I didn't like him" I winked at him and he sighed "Good lord" 

The next few minutes were silent, I was looking out the window and we went pass that flower shop and I remembered that old woman working there and then I remembered Jaehyun's mother

"How was she like?"

"Hmm?" Jaehyun asked so confusedly 

"Your mother"

He gave me a side smile, I knew that it must have been hard for him but he didn't seem to mind, however, I didn't expect him to pull over his car and smile to himself

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ... if you don't want to talk about it it's okay," I said feeling guilty for mentioning her but he nodded his head saying No, he looked at me "She was simple, she had a simple soul, just like you"

It took me by surprise "You remind of her, in so many ways" He told me and I could feel that he was really serious about this

"Oh yeah?" I looked at him feeling rather taken back "How's that?"

"I don't know, warm, a free soul and good at hiding her feelings, we would never know if she was sick or tired, she was good at hiding it that's probably why I'm good at noticing things"

"You're good at it I give you that ... Was she so sick?"

"She was exhausted" He said, I'm not stupid, I knew that it was hard for him "My dad didn't notice but I did, I took care of her while dad was travelling all over the world working, he wasn't there most of the time when she got sick, I didn't know what to do, it was more than what I could handle at that time, she got worse in such a short time and we lost her"

The atmosphere was cold and silent after that, "I'm sorry" I said and he smiled "It's okay, I know, and by the way ?''

"mmm"

"She likes you"

I giggled "She does?"

"Yeah, last time when we went to visit her, she really liked you, I'm sure of it"

We smiled at each other it was great having that conversation, getting those things out of the box. And suddenly the mood was warm, the look on our faces was tender and he got closer to me and closer, and a little bit more close until his breaths were near my cheeks, he kissed me. 

I didn't resist 

I kissed him back
