"He doesn't deserver you, you know? you are way too good for him"

I stopped and looked back at him, I sighed as he was so drunk but don't they say that men say the truth when they are drunk? I ignored it anyway and went to bring him something dry ... but wait! I don't have any male clothes.  I stood a little in front of my closet thinking about what I should bring him and in the end, I found it only suitable to let him wear my Nike sports clothes. I guess it was the best solution for now, plus, he's drunk he wouldn't mind anyway. It was tight and way smaller for him but as expected, he was too drunk to even notice.

I went back to the living room to find Jaehyun in the exact same position in which I left him, he was merely sitting on my couch with his eyes half-open, staring into nothing, his cheerful smile was gone, holding the towel in his hands. I sat next to him and offered him the clothes to change 

"Go change in the bathroom" I ordered,

He lifted his head to give me a faint nod and just a few minutes later, he came back all set he didn't look that bad actually,  my black Nike sports outfit worked out just fine for him. 

"Do you want some coffee?" I asked

"No" he simply answered then he laughed, out of nowhere

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing ... it's just, usually, when this happens, I just call Taeyong but obviously he's too busy with Emma, and my dad ... well "

"You don't need to explain yourself to me you know?"

he smiled "Yeah I know" he suddenly laid on the couch and sighed

"But you know?" he laughed again "I somehow enjoyed it with you more than I usually do with dad or Taeyong, ... we had lunch and we went to the flower shop, we bicker a lot and I like it ... it was fun"

I honestly didn't know if he really meant it, I knew deep down he was hurt but I smiled anyways "Yeah it was" I said 

"And did I tell you? My mom loved you so much too" 

a small laugh escaped my mouth "Oh yeah? what did she say?" I asked 

"Well, first she liked your outfit, she thought you looked nice"

"Oh that's very nice of her"

"And she said that you have a nice smile ... a brave one"

"A brave smile?"

"Yeah the kind of smile that says, I can do it all no matter what even though I'm hurting inside"

I smiled again, I kept smiling actually, most of the time, his words probably mean nothing in his drunken dazed state they are rather confusing and incoherent to put together but yet, he made me smile all the way as he spoke "Taeyong ..." he continued "He ... I think he likes Emma very much"

"Yeah and Emma likes him too ... a lot"

"And you ... it must be hard for you"

"No, it's not why should it be?"

He kept staring at me, "I know why so don't try to hide it"

"I never said anything, but you keep assuming whatever you want to think" I smirked 

"He is a jerk though"

I was shocked "What are you talking about? He's your friend how could you say that?"

"How could he not like you?" ... "From what I know, you saw him first"

"This is not a game Jaehyun" 

"Winners take it all? Is that it ?"

"Stop it Jaehyun! It wasn't like that"

He sighed and laid back on the couch staring at the ceiling "If I were him, I wouldn't let you go" he mumbled drunkenly blinking 

It was sweet so I smiled in admiration "Oh really?" I said

"Yeah" He continued "I would take you for a long long ride in my brand new white BMW"

I laughed but still, he continued "Take you to lunch with Alfred" and I laughed even harder

"Then maybe we could watch a movie and leave my expensive car somewhere and walk home" I kept laughing cause he sounded so silly 

"And you will let your precious feet get swollen while you have a brand new white BMW?"

"For you? sure I will"

"Wow Jaehyun that's very tempting I would like to see that"

"What? You think I won't  do it?"

"Well... I would like to see you try"

"TOMORROW?" He screamed so suddenly jolting up from the couch, he made me flinch for a second 

"Gosh Jaehyun you scared me" I hit him with the pillow I was holding, he laughed "What's wrong with tomorrow?" I asked a while later

"Go for a walk and use my precious feet?"

I sighed "Okay" I simply answered agreeing and he curled himself into a ball on my couch "What are you doing?" I asked 

"I can't go home now I need to rest my feet for tomorrow"

"What?" I stood up heading his way to try and kick him off my couch and outside my apartment "No" I said firmly but he ignored me and no matter how hard I tried to move him he wouldn't budge and just minutes later, he was in dreamland. I sighed and just watched him sleep

"Ah this crazy little ... if only he wasn't drunk, I would just ...Gosh" I sighed again.

I walked to my room and brought him a blanket and covered his obviously shivering body "Sleep Jaehyun, just ... sleep, here ... in my apartment" It was frustrating, I sighed again

"And not even a Thank you" I half screamed to myself as I walked to my room and closed the door behind me to get some sleep as well.
