It's New year's eve, everybody is celebrating the new year, it's about 10 pm and everybody was just having fun. Emma, Taeyong, Jaehyun, and I were in Taeyong's parent's villa. They had this huge garden and not only the 4 of us were there, but our families as well, actually, Taeyong and Emma decided to make this both a new year celebration and a sort of an engagement party.

Emma was walking around in this beautiful short red dress as Taeyong introduced her to all of his family members, they looked amazing

I, on the other hand, was sitting at a table with a big smile on my face staring around and admiring just how pretty the place was. I wore a short pink dress, as Emma's best friend and bridesmaid to be, I had to look good for her.

 Taeyong already introduced me to his parents, they are the sweetest couple, they seemed so happy with Emma, I'm glad about that, I mean they had to be, she was gorgeous but other than that, I was just admiring the view when a voice took me by surprise 

"Hey," he said and I turned around to find Jaehyun standing with an older man by his side. I stood up "Hello," I said not sure who the man was.

"So, hmm, dad this is the girl I told you about"

I took a shaky breath, I was hit by the realization that the man standing in front of me was Jaehyun's father. He was tall and fairly handsome, now I understand where Jaehyun got his posture from. The man stretched his arm towards me for a handshake "Hello, nice to meet you" he said "I've heard a lot about you" 

I smiled widely "Hello Sir, it's very nice to meet you too"

"You're looking amazingly pretty tonight" 

I looked down at my outfit and shyly smiled throwing a "Thank you"

He nodded, it was like he was checking me out, I melted, I got so embarrassed, "Well, I should leave you guys be now" He said before he tapped his son's back and left. I released a long deep sigh "Oh my God" 

"What?" Jaehyun smiling as if he has just achieved a life goal 

"That was so unexpected, why did you do that?"

"Well, I thought that it would be nice if you met my dad, you'll be around me a lot and he should at least meet you once" He smirked 

"Okay," I said feeling rather shy and defeated. He got closer to me offering his arm and I automatically locked my arm around his as we walked in the garden "My dad was right" he suddenly said "You look amazing tonight" I smiled to myself

"Well, your mother's taste is wonderful"

he nodded "Oh I know"

Actually, Jaehyun's mother owned a small factory and a couple of shops around the city, she was a fashion designer, when Jaehyun took me there a couple of days ago I was fascinated by the work she has left behind, everything there reflected a simple, elegant and a somehow trapped soul. I understo what Jaehyun meant when he said that I remind him of her. We were so much alike, I can see it even in the way she picked the wall colors and in the minor details she put in her dresses. Her collection was the one from which Emma and I picked our dresses. It feels warm inside, this kind of connection, I loved the woman and I have never met her, I can see her in Jaehyun though and I'm falling for every single detail and error in him. I, who once have thought that I liked Taeyong, what the hell was I thinking? 

We walked toward Emma and Taeyong "Hey pretty" I walked toward my girl, she hugged me. She looked so happy and I'm so happy because she's happy. Taeyong felt so proud, I can see that he was in love and he got the girl of his dreams. It was such an amazing night

"So what are you guys doing after this ?" I asked Emma, now that it is 3 am in the morning and it is officially the 1st of January 2018 

"Well, Taeyong said that he's making a reservation for both of us in a 5 stars hotel" She winked 

"Awwwww that's nice" 

"What about you and Jaehyun?"

Yes, she knows, I told her, I told her everything, I'll never hide a thing from her ever again, she doesn't deserve that, she's my bestie and she's really happy for me as I'm happy for her

I pouted "I dunno, he didn't' say anything"

"I'm sure he got something in mind don't worry" 

I shrugged my shoulders not sure of what Jaehyun may have had in mind until I met him 15 minutes later after Emma and Taeyong took off to their next destination

"He's taking her to a 5 stars hotel," I said

I mean ... I wanted something like that as well, but you know us girls we never say something directly. Jaehyun looked at me with a smile "Yeah well he's taking her to a 5 stars hotel and I'm taking you somewhere else"

I was confused "Where?" I asked 

"To a 5 Billion star hotel"

I laughed so hard "And where is that?" 

"A camp"

"A camp?" 

"Yes, under the night sky"

I smiled, I liked that, he offered his hand and I took it "Let's go?" he asked 

"Yeah let's go" 

"To your brand new white BMW?"

He laughed giving me a hard look "Don't you dare make fun of my car again and Yes"
