2 days have already passed since the last time I spoke to him. Since that day he took me to say "Hello" to his dead mother, I kept wondering, was she the one he was talking about when he told me that he knew how it felt like when your love is taken away from you?

Maybe he was talking about her? 

I couldn't reach him afterwards and honestly, I didn't know what to do.

At first, I thought maybe I should give him some time alone but whenever I tried to call him after that, he's never available and I got worried so I called Emma

"So have you heard from Jaehyun lately?" I asked somewhere along our conversation, and I made it sound casual

"No," she said "Taeyong says that he's busy these days doing stuff with his father"

"What stuff?"

"I'm not sure really, work ... I guess"

and I felt even more sorry for him.

In the time when he should be mourning over his mother, he is busy doing whatever with his father who doesn't seem to care that much and I had a bad feeling.

I kept calling him that night and sending many messages, I don't know why but I was super worried and angry, how could he ignore me like this? He must be feeling really bad and I know how that feels, it feels like you're suffocating, you don't want to do anything yet, people around you keep on forcing you to. I wanted to help so badly but that horrible feeling of I can't do anything right now is just killing me, so I just sat in my apartment watching the very first winter raindrops finding their ways on my window leaving their trails all over.

It was already late in the afternoon when I was drinking a hot cup of coffee and sitting on my couch watching whatever was on the tv. It felt nice but something reminded me of Jaehyun again

*What could have happened to him? why isn't he answering any of my calls ?*

And suddenly my phone rang.

I took a look at the screen and Taeyong's name was all over my screen making my heart race for a moment, it always does when it's something that it has to do with him. I couldn't get over that feeling nor could I ignore it but anyways I picked up

"Hey"

"Hey, how are you?" he asked

"I'm good, thanks. To whom do I owe this pleasant phone call?"

He laughed, hearing that laugh through the phone was as great as imagining it "Jaehyun" he answered and something moved inside of me 

"Jaehyun?" I questioned

"Emma told me that you couldn't reach him lately?"

"Oh yeah ...  right I was asking if she knew his whereabouts"

"Well ... he's ... at home for now ... he told me he wants to be alone for some time"

"Oh ... okay" I knew he was lying, he was lying and it was so obvious 

"But if you need something just let me know"

"Nope I'm fine thanks"

"Sure?"

*No* ..... "Yes sure"

I hang up. Something was odd, nothing seemed to be clear, Taeyong was hiding something and only sometime later, I found out.

It was already late, about 11 pm when a weird knock on my door made me shiver. Who would come knocking on my door at this hour? Emma would always call before she comes for sure but ... this was not Emma. At first, I didn't want to answer but the knocking never stopped so I took a deep breath with all the courage I have got and walked toward the door "Who is it?" I asked behind the door, my hands are slightly shaking but my voice sounded confident

"Hi ... I was starting to think that you were out for the night"

"JAEHYUN" I  half screamed behind the door, I quickly opened and I wanted to curse him " You little ..." but I couldn't finish my sentence, I really wanted to curse him but not after I saw him in that condition. He was all wet. Water dripping from his hair, his clothes, everywhere, it seemed to me like he was walking under the rain for hours but most importantly, he was drunk, ... very drunk. 

"What happened to you?" I asked suddenly feeling very worried as I helped him stand up properly 

"No~~~thing" he answered while walking inside my apartment

"Just stay still, Let me get you a towel"

I made him sit in the living room as I went to bring him a towel. He followed me with his eyes half-open "Don't you dare fall asleep" I screamed and he smirked "Whatever" he said.

I came back seconds later with a fresh towel in my hand and offered it to him, he took it without hesitation "What happened to your brand new white BMW?", he smirked  "I left it" he said

"Where?"

he was trying to remember obviously but couldn't "Somewhere" he shrugged and laughed  

"Jaehyun ... Oh God" I kept looking at him as he wiped the water away from his face and hair "What?" he suddenly said when I was staring at his face worried  "Do I look y with water all over me?"

I sighed mocking him "Shut up" and I stood up "Let me go find you something dry to wear" but before I could move "I'm sorry," he said with a sad voice "I should have told you before taking you" 

... but I was quiet I never said a word

"You know, my mother and I, we were very close and she just got sick, everything happened so quickly, neither my dad nor I could realize just how fast it was ... the only thing is that my father got over it, he got married again but I ... well I couldn't get over it ... but still, you are not supposed to hear all of this so I'm sorry it was foolish of me"

"No it's ok" I smiled "Is that why you told me that you know how it's like to have someone you love get stolen from you?"

"Yes, somehow ... wait ... are we talking about Taeyong here?"

"WHAT? No ... shut up"

I stood up and walked to get him something dry when he screamed behind me"He doesn't deserver you, you know? you are way too good for him"
