Pretty lady.

“Selina!” A woman in her fifties called to her daughter.
“It’s not Selina, it’s Hebe mom!” she protested running down the staircase.
“Whichever… Pretty much the same to me”
“No they’re not! Selina is my sister… She’s not here, she’s studying abroad. I’m Hebe” she said pointing to herself. “Anyway, what did you call me for?”
“Would you like to go shopping with me?” she said sweetly.
“No”
“Why not?”
“It’s my rest day, I need to rest. I need my BEAUTY rest.”
“But you’re beautiful.”
“Yeah… Just like my pretty mommy.” She gave her a bear hug.
“You coming?” her mom asked her again. “Please…”
“I can’t.” She stayed firm. “I’ll go back to my room.”
Her mom really wanted her to come so she had to think of something which will really interest her…
“Maybe you’ll find your Prince charming there…” she’s laughing at the back of her mind.
“I’ll just get dressed!!” she ran to her pink colored room, pink bed, wallpaper, pillows….etc…
Hebe picked out a white knee-length dress and tried it on making her look like she was going to a grand event.
“Too formal.” She picked another one, a green blouse given by her best friend Ella and a pair of cute jeans.
“Why do you look like a princess?” she smiled at her reflection. “That’s it.You’re ready.”
She went downstairs, fully prepared.
“Mom, let’s go… My prince is waiting!”
“You silly girl!” she laughed at what her daughter has said.
And they spent the day…shopping, shopping and shopping…
