Wishes.

Guigui was in the mood for admiring the paintings given by Mini earlier this day.

“Guigui?” someone called her attention.
She looked. Then she wished she didn’t.
“Can we talk?” the guy said.
“No.”

“I would like to discuss something with you.”
Guigui stood up, gave a fake smile and said NO.
'Mean girl!' Aaron thought.

“Would you at least give it a chance?” Guigui insists.

“I don’t even know you.” “Aaron Yan, 23, Photographer.”

“Yeah. Great.” She crossed her arms. “What do you want?”

Aaron was silent. Finally she’s giving him the chance.

“Couple of weeks ago, there’s this guy who invited you to be a model. He…”

“How’d you know?” She said raising one eyebrow.
“Doesn’t matter.”
“Whatever.”
“Be our model.”
“Double Whatever.”

Guigui turned around just to see XiaoGui coming. In panic, she turned back at Aaron and he caught her.

“Okay. I’ll be your model.”
Aaron smiled.
“Just promise me three things…”
“Great. What are those?”

“There’s a guy coming towards us. Pretend to be my boyfriend.”
“WHAT?!?”

“Hi, Guigui.” XiaoGui gave her a sweet smile.
She returned the smile and clutched on Aaron. Aaron, shocked, didn’t know how to react.
“How have you been?” Guigui asked.

“Good.” XiaoGui stared at Aaron. “Your boyfriend?”
“Aaron, this is XiaoGui a...” she paused. “-a former friend.”

Aaron stretched out his hand and reluctantly said hi.
“I just want to invite you…” He handed her an envelope, probably an invitation. “Jolin and I are about to get married.”

“Jolin?” Guigui was trying to figure out who this JOLIN was. “Oh! That girl, the teacher?”
“Yes.” XiaoGui smiled. “I hope you can come.”
“Of course we can!” She painted an angelic smile on her face. “Best wishes to both of you.”

“Thank you.” He looked at both of them. “I’ll be expecting you. I have to go.”
He took Aaron’s hand. “Nice meeting you.” Then he headed off.

Guigui moved away from Aaron. And her smile faded.
“Do you mean what you said a while ago, by being my model?” Aaron asked.
“Yes.”
“That’s what I thought.” Aaron felt good. Finally, he had complete models!
