The Fight

Aaron and Xiao Gui were puzzled over the latest clue. It didn’t seem to make any sense. The note said to look at Gui Gui’s wish for help in finding her, but be careful because people want to destroy her wish. They decided to ask Ya Tou if she knew what Gui Gui’s wish was.
They went to go visit her in the hospital.

~In Ya Tou’s room~

"Ya Tou, are you okay?" Aaron asked. Ya Tou answered, "I’m fine, thanks to you guys." She did look better after resting and eating good food. Aaron said, "Well, we have something to ask you. See, Gui’s been kidnapped." Ya Tou gasped, "What? When?" Aaron explained, "We think she was kidnapped by the same person who kidnapped you. Do you remember anything about the person?" Ya Tou thought about it. "No. He came at me from behind and knocked me out. Then he blindfolded me when he put me in the fountain. I got my blindfold off later. I never saw his face." Aaron said, "Well, we found a clue with you. Do you know what Gui’s greatest wish is?" Ya Tou was at a loss for words. "..."

*Flashback*
Gui Gui: You can never tell anyone my wish. Promise?
Ya Tou: Promise.
*End Flashback*

Ya Tou told Aaron, "I promised Gui Gui I wouldn’t tell anyone." Xiao Gui pleaded, "Please. This is a life and death situation. If you don’t tell us, Gui Gui will die." Ya Tou hesitated. Ya Tou thought, "I’m sorry, Gui Gui. I can’t keep my promise. But I won’t let you die just to keep your promise." Ya Tou answered, "Okay, I’ll tell you. Her greatest wish is to find her true love and be with them forever." Aaron and Xiao Gui are both shocked. Xiao Gui was the first one to snap out of it.

"Okay, so now we just need to find someone who wants to stop Gui from getting her true love. Question is, who is her true love?" Xiao Gui mused. "Ya Tou, do you know?" Aaron asked. Ya Tou said sadly, "She never told me, but I think that she hasn’t found them yet." Xiao Gui was discouraged. "Then how do we find her?" Aaron thought about it. "Okay, her wish is to find true love. But someone is trying to stop her. Why?" "Maybe they love the same person as Gui, or they love Gui and she didn’t return their feelings?" suggested Xiao Gui. Ya Tou said, "Well, Wang Zi was rejected by Gui Gui. But he never showed signs of wanting to get revenge." "Then who?" wondered Xiao Gui.
Aaron was thinking.

*Flashback*
Jun: Gui Gui, I like you. Will you go out with me?
Gui Gui: Jun: So what’s your answer?
Gui Gui: NO! I don’t know you, and quite frankly, you’re kind of creepy, no offense or anything.
Jun: What? I’m not creepy.
Gui Gui: Yes you are. I don’t have time to argue with you, I have to go home to rest. Aaron, lets go.
*End of Flashback*

"I know who has Gui Gui." Aaron said. It was so sudden that Xiao Gui and Ya Tou were surprised. "Who?" they asked. Aaron said confidently, "Jun. She’s at Jun’s house."
Ya Tou was confused. "How do you know?" Aaron explained, "Jun confessed to her a couple of days ago, but she rejected him. That could be his motive for kidnapping her." While Aaron said this, his hand curled up into a fist without him realizing it. He was so upset, but it only showed through this. His face betrayed nothing.

Xiao Gui said impatiently, "Then what are we waiting for? Let’s go to his house and bust Gui Gui out." Aaron said firmly, "No, that’s alright. I’ll go by myself." "Why? She’s my best friend too!" argued Xiao Gui. "Think about it. You’ll only slow me down. One person will make it easier to rescue her and succeed." said Aaron reasonably. Xiao Gui retorted, Then why don’t I go?" Ya Tou yelled, "STOP ARGUING!" They both ignored her, so Ya Tou screamed, a high-pitched wailing sound that made them immediately stop.

"Aaron, Xiao Gui, stop fighting. While you guys are arguing, Gui Gui is still with the kidnapper!" scolded Ya Tou. Aaron and Xiao Gui said at the same time, "Sorry." "Aaron, you go." Ya Tou decided. "Xiao Gui, you stay with me. You can call the police to arrest Jun."
Xiao Gui, scowling, said, "Fine." Aaron didn’t say a word, just left the room. He ran to his new silver Porsche, got in, and called someone.

Aaron asked, "Hey, where does Jun live?" The guy on the other line said, "He lives on 2359 Ravenwick Drive." Aaron answered, "Okay. Got it. Thanks." The guy replied, "No problem, Aaron." Aaron hung up his phone, and started up his car. He sped off, not caring about the speed limit at all. "Is Gui Gui okay? Am I too late? I’m going to teach that Jun guy a lesson. Never mess with my friends. Especially not Gui Gui." thought Aaron fiercely. He arrived at Jun’s house. He got out of his car, and walked toward the house.

~In Jun’s house, at the same time~

Gui Gui is staring at the window near the ceiling, looking at the light shining through. She is still tied to the chair, and hasn’t moved. "What I wouldn’t give to be able to walk around freely. When was the last time I stretched my legs? It feels like I’ve been in here forever. I wonder where Aaron and Xiao Gui are. I hope that they come soon. I don’t know what I’ll do if Jun comes back. He is scary. I’m scared he’ll do something drastic next time he comes in here." thought Gui Gui.

Just then, the door opened. In came Gui’s latest nightmare.
Jun was wearing the same black jacket, and his hood was up. Gui Gui asked bravely, "What do you want?" Jun responded coldly, with an evil grin on his face, "Your time is up." And with that, he slowly drew a knife from within his jacket. Gui Gui took one look, and screamed.

~Back to Aaron~

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aaron heard a loud scream from within the house. He disregarded the fact that he was trespassing, and just ran straight into the house. He ran towards the sound, and it took him to a room. When he got there, Jun’s back was facing him, and he was holding a knife, getting ready to kill Gui! Without a thought for his own safety, he ran towards Jun and knocked him to the side. In the process, Jun’s knife accidentally stabbed his leg. Gui Gui screamed. She saw that Aaron was hurt. Aaron ignored the pain. Jun stood up, his eyes crazy. But Aaron had the knife. Jun was standing opposite him.

"Why don’t you make a move?" taunted Jun. Aaron said, "I won’t hurt you if you let Gui go." Jun cackled. "Yeah right. Like I have any intention of doing that." Aaron said firmly, "You will, or I will make you let her go by force." "Why don’t you try then?" asked Jun. Aaron said with no conviction, "I’m not going to hurt you for no reason." Jun smiled evilly. It’s your loss.

And suddenly, without warning, he ran straight toward Aaron. Aaron fell backward. Jun was on top of him, and he had a hold on the knife. He was trying to push it down into Aaron’s chest, but Aaron’s hand was also on the knife. They were struggling for possession of the knife, while Gui Gui watched on in stricken terror. Finally Aaron mustered up all of his strength, and pushed Jun off of him. Jun fell backwards, taking the knife with him. Aaron got up, and went towards Gui. He was untying her bonds, when Gui saw Jun coming with the knife. She kicked him so that he fell, and the knife hit her left arm. It cut off her bonds, but also cut into her skin. She was bleeding. She got up, and kicked Jun in “that” place. She then punched him in the face. He fell backward and hit his head on the floor and was immediately unconscious. Aaron got up off the floor, and he grabbed Gui’s hand. They held hands and ran out of the room.

They ran to Aaron’s car, where Aaron and Gui got in. They were both bleeding a lot, but Gui was worse. Aaron turned next to him and hugged Gui Gui. Then he felt her faint. He realized that she had lost a lot of blood. So he drove her to the hospital. He picked her up bridal style, and carried her into the hospital, ignoring his own injuries. Aaron said urgently, "Nurse, she’s hurt really badly and lost a lot of blood." The nurse reassured him, "Okay, I’ll see that she’s taken care of." Aaron was relieved. "Thank you." He laid her on a stretcher, and when she was taken away, he fell on the floor and lost consciousness.
