Falling for the Clumsy Sun

"Really?"

Yongsun sat quietly failing as she tried to hide her mirth to avoid waking the sleeping babe in her arms.

It's their second day at the hospital after giving birth to her daughter and because little baby Ddongie still haven't made her first diaper mess, the doctor had them stayed an extra day. In the meanwhile, Neither Wheein or Hyejin were going to settle on waiting to visit them at their house when they could easily come and barge in at the hospital. Even Byul would've come and joined to complete their rambunctious bunch but because she had Haejun, she opted to being patient.

Anyway, after their friends' visitation yesterday, Yongsun and Eric were finally able to settle on their daughter's name and after Wheein heard it, the excited puppy turned a little bit irky ranting about how it's unfair that Hyejin's godbaby is basically almost named after her and that little Ddongie isn't.

"I mean," She continued walking about the room trying to make a point. "What is just one letter? Is it so wrong for you guys to add just one letter? I mean, it's just-"

"One letter." Hyejin finished for her cutting her off. "Haejun's name isn't much like mine and lord knows if it is, he'd be the but off the joke when he starts going to school. Besides, it's just one letter. Why are you so hung up on it?"

"Because." Wheein whined unable to make reason plopping down on the sofa indicating her sign of defeat.

It was only then that Yongsun giggled handing her daughter to Eric who was also grinning and motioned for him to bring her to the sulking girl.

It took a little bit of coaxing from Eric and finally a cute little yawn from baby Heeyoung to have Wheein succumbing to the cuteness of the godchild she claimed months before her birth or even the conception.

Almost three years later...

"MMMMMMAAAAAAAAAAAA!"

"Oh god! No!" Eric gasped as he watch his daughther, dressed in a little moo onesie, who he'd though to be asleep seconds ago, waddled her way on the stage towards her mother and aunts who are in the midst of their performance.

Staffs also only noticed seconds after Eric and when one of them tried to make a quick move at the attempt of extracting her from the stage, Yongsun, who saw her daughter and the staff, stopped her and signaled the audio team to keep the song rolling.

Eric made a face but he knew why his wife stopped them and that was because anytime the child wanted her mother and someone, besides Eric or Wheein, gets in her way, she'll make quite the spectacle of a tantrum making it hard for anyone to soothe her down.

Kicking her heels off behind her as she finished her part, Yongsun made a quick grab of her daughter and joined the formation.

The three aunts made imprompt movements to include the babe in their performance and thankfully it didn't take long for them to finish the song.

The fans were so in love with her already that they started chanting 'baby moo' and the four ladies couldn't help but giggle and encourage them. Yongsun was thankful that Heeyoung made no attempt in removing her noise cancelling earmuffs.

"Everyone, I'd like you to 'formally' meet the youngest member of our group, Baby moo Heeyoung!" Hyejin introduced and everyone in the audience clapped and cheered some more.

Yongsun couldn't be more happy that their fans had no qualms welcoming her back a year later after giving birth and was even more grateful that their fans were quite understanding when she and Eric ddecided to keep Heeyoung from public exposure. They both knew it would happen eventually that someone would make attempts in hacking their account or even secretly infiltrate their home for the moey they could gain with just a photo so before that ever happened, the couple, bit by bit, released a few pictures of their little girl early on.

Heeyoung, who seemed tantalized by the fans' and their moobongs pointed and said with absolute glee, "'mma t(w)ingkle t(w)inkle!"

Yongsun already had an earpiece off so she chuckled and nodded. "Yes, twinkle twinkle."

Her little face contorted and Yongsun knew she must've not heard her because of the earmuffs that she wiggled her arms and attempted to remove the earmuff but Hyejin stopped her making Heeyoung whine in protest.

The fans who were watching awed and cooing at her cuteness.

"No, Imo! No!" Heeyoung whined trying to wriggle her arms from Hyejin who was trying to distract her playfully but failing so far.

"What do we do, unnie?" Wheein asked right as Heeyoung raised her arms at her wanting her godmother.

Byul, at the spur of the moment, made a dash to a staff and asked her to do something before running back on stage to tell the girls her plan.

"What?!" Yongsun reacted as if her friend said something crazy.

"I't's not a bad idea." Hyejin agreed.

"That's only if your okay with it, unnie." Byul said.

Looking at her daughter who seemed distracted enough by Wheein who walked her around the stage to sooth the babe's tantrum and then at the back of the stage to her husband who already had a camera at the ready with a wide grin on his face, she chuckled and agreed.

"You have to make sure that the fans maintain a minimun noise though." She told Byul.

With that Byul addressed the crowed. "Okay! I need everyones attention!" She said and all of the fans quieted down. "As a break before our next performance, we have a special guests who's already with us on the stage."

The crowd cheered only to be stopped by her again.

"Before that, we need you not scream and shout because she may react badly if she gets surprised and with all our voices combined, we could break her tinie-tiny eardrums. We don't want that, right?" As if they all agreed to mock her, the fans made a collective whispers of the word No.

The four of them laughed and the sight of it made Heeyoung clap.

Yongsun took the noise cancelling earmuffs just as Byul made a signal to the audio team and as soon as the little girl heard the intro, she asked her mother to put her down and grabbed Wheein's short.

"Dans, mimi! Dans!" She pleade and so Wheein started and soon Heeyoung followed.

A lot of fans cooed and squeaked at how adorable the little Heeyoung swayed and shaked her hips  as she tried her best to follow her beloved 'mimi'.

With more wriggling, but shaking and a few more wriggling, the song finally ended and the fans tried their best to not be so loud s they clapped along a very pleased Heeyoung.

"Yay 'mma! Yay!" Heeyoung squealed running towards her mother who scooped her up so easily.

"Yay! That was beautiful, my little love." She praised kissing her baby's chubby cheeks. "Why don't you go and show daddy how you dance?"

"Owtay!" She said and kissed her mother before asking to be put down.

As soon as she disappeared from the stage, the girls continued their performance knowing they had a few more songs left on their list.

"I am beat." Yongsun whined resting her head on her husband's shoulder as soon as they made it out of the fans' sight.

"You did wonderful, love." Eric said planting a kiss on the top of her head. "You and Heeyoung really did."

She chuckled and he joined her. "Thank goodness Byul managed to come up with that idea. Did you record it?"

"Yeah, managed to sneak in the front and get the whole clip." She replied with a hum and he couldn't help but chuckle. "Rest, hon. I'll wake you when we get home."

Yongsun sighed happily kissing the side of his neck before finally passing out.

"Hmm? Oppa?"

Eric smiled as his wife mumbled barely awake as he carried her out of the car. "Sleep, hon."

"Heeyoungie?"

"Sleeping like her mommy." He answered.

Snuggling closer on his chest, she sighed and mumbled some words that Eric barely made out but understood.

"I love you too." He replied.

It's been two months since Mamamoo's last concert as a group of four and so far, Yongsun found herself quickly easing herself in the office with the much needed help of her cousin.

"You seem out of it." Hyunyoung said snapping her cousin from her daze.

"Oh. Sorry, unnie. It's just," She sighed and placed the contract she'd just finished reviewing down next to the laptop so tat she won't forget to take it home later."Our anniversary's coming up an I don't know what to get Eric oppa."

"Oh." Hyungyong muttered and then grinned like a sly cat.

"What's with that face? I don't like that face." Yongun said as her unnie leaned closer.

"Well, you might not like my face but I know the perfect gift you can give your beloved hubby." Her cousin teased still with that grin on her face.

Yongsun contemplated but she was really in a bind and only had less than three weeks to get her husband a gift so she gave in and her unnie could only grin wider.

"Well?"

"Fine. W-what is it?" She asked.

"You can always give him a son." Hyunyoung said and then collapsed in a fit of laughter as her younger sister/cousin turned as bright as a tomato.

"Unnie!" Hyunyoung just laughed harder."Unnie! I'm serious!"

It took her a couple of minutes but she finally stopped as she turned to her cousin and said. "I am too."

"I mean, haven't you guys talked about it?" She asked. "I'm sure you wouldn't want Heeyoung to grow up with a sibling or two."

Yongsun sighed feeling depleted and said, "We have but it's just...I don't know if we have the time right now especially with me still easing in being a CEO. I'm still adjusting and-

"Yong, you don't have to explain." The older girl said calming her. "And stopped pushing yourself so hard. You've been working yourself like a harder than anyone else have for the company that all those idiots who doubted your capabilities should just slap themselves."

"Unnie." Yongsun said giggling.

"Besides, as your second in command, I can take over for a while during your anniversary and maybe teach this new idiots some manner on how to behave in front of their boss." Hyunyoung's menacing smile returned making her scoff.

"I swear." She said then sighed in defeat. " You know what. I am going to do just that. It is our 7th anniversary and I really do want to make it up to oppa for being busy. Even to Heeyoung. I barely see her and when I do it's mostly at night when she's about to go to sleep or when she's already asleep." She bit her lipto stop herself from crying.

Hyunyoung sighed and came next to her giving her a hug. "Don't work yourself up too much Yongsun-ah. You said it yourself, you're still adjusting. Just take things slow. I'm alway here to help no matter what."

Yongsun nodded holding her unnie for comfort.

In the end, a week before their anniversary, Yongsun found herself pleased after finally acquiring two tickets for their anniversary trip.

"You seem happy."

She squeaked hearing her husband's voice behind her and she made a quick move to hide the tickets behind her. "Y-yeobo."

"Hi." Eric greeted with a smirk on his face. "What'cha got there?"

Yongsun shook her head taking a step back as he approached slowly.

"Nothing? Hmm." He took a few more sep and then he had her trapped in his arms. "Really?"

Yongsun nodded her head not trusting herself to speak and swallong hard finding her husband's actions hot and alluring.

"You know," Eric leaned down placing kisses on her forehead, her cheeks, on the side of her neck and finally on her earlobe settling there to nibble on. "Wheein won't be back with Heeyoung until tonight." He whispered his hot breath flowind down her neck making her moan. " How about mommy and daddy have fun while they can?"

Yongsun glared at him warning him not to tempt her but she could see that he wasn't.

Well, he wasn't really...

When he saw his chance he quickly grabbed what she had hidden behind her and quickly read waht it was before giving it back to her.

"That was not fair!" She whined smacking him on the chest. "It was supposed to be a surprise!"

Eric grinned. "I'm already surprised love. Now come here." He scooped her up carrying her like a bag of potato and soon there were clothes on the floor, on the vanity, and sheets were tangled as they rested after their very tiring but happy 'mommy-daddy time'.

Days before the trip though, Yongsun found herself getting sick for the nth time that week and so she set up an appointment with her doctor twodays before the trip.

Laying down on the bed, Yongsun found herself in a familiar situation as the doctor asked her to lift her shirt up and placed a cool gel on her lower abdomen. In the next second, as the doctor placed the wand on her belly, she found herself nervous and excited.

"And there's your baby." The doctor said with a smile on her face. "Strong heartbeat too."

She gave a watery laugh hearing her child's heartbeat herself. "H-how far along?"

The doctor estimated the baby to be close to twelve weeks and she was almost surprised until she remembered the day after the concert where Eddie came and pick Heeyoung for some uncle-niece bonding time.

"Love, are you sure you're okay to go on this trip?" Eric asked worrying about his wife as theygot their luggage checked in.

"Oppa. That's the nth time you asked me. Yes, I am." She answered a little bit irritated and quickly realizing it. "I'm sorry. I'm just..."

Eric sighed and pulled her in a hug. "I'm sorry too. I'm just worried because you were sick recently and I just don't want you straining yourself for this trip."

Yongsun tip toed and gave him a peck. "I'm fine, oppa. I promise."

Eric nodded and soon they boarded their plane headed to Phucket, Thailand.

"Yongsun, what are you doing?" Eric asked knocking on their suite's bathroom door. "We're going to be late for dinner."

The two of them had decided on a dinner date to start off their anniversary celebration and now they're about to get to their reservation late because Yongsun had to run to the bathroom because of her bladder.

"Only three months old and you're already squishing mommy's bladder." Yongsun sighed and chuckled before fixing herself and couldn't help but notice the slight change of her figure as she turned to her side. "You're making it hard for mommy to keep you a secret from daddy." She took a second to rub her belly before heading out.

"Ready?" Her husband asked and she nodded smiling as she took the arm he offered.

"Babe, you're not drinking your wine." Eric commented noticing how Yongsun reached out for the water to drink instead of her favorite red wine.

She wasn't much of a drinker but she does enjoy a cup or two once in a while and most of the time, if it was available it would be red wine or just light beer but she mostly prefers the red vino.

"It's not healthy for me right now." She answered getting ready for his surprise.

"Oh! Right. Yeah." Eric nodded. "I forgot you were sick recently. I'm sorry, love. I'll order something else."

Yongsun giggled shaking her head. "No, oppa. I wasn't really sick."

"Huh? What are you talking about? I've seen you getting dizzy spells and throwing up these past few days. How can you not be sick?"

Yongsun laughed knowing her husband didn't realize what her symptoms where about.

"Oppa, it's just normal. It may happen less or probably stop completely now that I'm in my second term but I'm not sure." She hinted watching his reaction.

"Huh?"

She stopped herself from doubling over from how oblivious he was.

"Yeobo. Think about it. The last time this happened, Heeyoung joined us months later." She waited and watched as his expression turned from oblivious to shocked to happy and excited.

In his excitement, he couldn't help but jump of his seat to her side and kissed her breathlessly neverminding the other guests also dining in the area.

"You're the best, love. THE best!" He exclaimed kissing her one more time. "Since when? How long did you know? How far along?"

Yongsun was crying and laughing at the same time with his many questions.

"I didn't figure it out until a couple of days before the trip and to be sure, I got an appointment the next day and that's when I heard our baby's heartbeat." She said and he just sat there watching and listening to her with awe and more love in his eyes. "And this little one is at twelve weeks already."

"I love you so so so much." He said caressing her cheek and giving her a quick peck.

"Oppa?" Eric replied with a soft hum. "Remember the barbecue place we passed by on the way here?"

He nodded with a growing grin on his face.

"I'm craving." She grinned and he just laughed shaking his head and then quickly paid their bill so they could head out to get her her barbecue.

Two weeks after there honeymoon anniversary, the two returned home excited to see their daughter again.

Another week passed by and Eric accompanied his wife on her next appointment wanting to see and hear the baby and also because he was getting worried for his wife concerned at how big her stomach got at this stage compared to when she was pregnant with Heeyoung.

When they entered the doctor's office, he could tell that the woman grew concerned at how big she got in a matter of weeks.

"Here we go." The doctor said placing the wand on her belly. "I'm guessing mommy and daddy are eager to know the gender?"

"Yes!" The two echoed then returned to being quiet listening to their baby's heartbeat.

"We'll see if the baby's willing to let mommy and daddy know." The doctor said and moved the wand slightly lower when she paused a second making a hum noise before continuing.

"Ahha. You're not that shy are you?"  The doctor cooed at tbe screen and said,"This little one here is a baby boy."

Eric punched the air with a big yes and lened down to kiss his wife.

"And let's see if baby number two isn't as shy as big brother here." The doctor said and that got them in a state of shock.

"B-ba-baby number two?" Eric stuttered.

"Doctor, are you saying..." Yongsun swallowed. "A-are you saying we're having twins?"

The doctor turned her head away from the screen and smiled. "Yes. Very much so."

"Twins! Love, we're having twins!" Eric exclaimed making Yongsun laugh in the midst of her happy tears.

"A boy and girl, it seems."

At that Eric danced like total idiot but he didn't care.

At first, Eric and Yongsun decided to keep the twins situation a secret for themselves but at how fast the twins were growing, they decided to share the news during one of their barbecue parties.

"WHHATTT??!" Henry screamed like a maniac scaring poor little Heeyoung who ran for comfort to her immy Wheein. "You mean there's two babies in there?" He asked pointing at her belly earning him a whack in the head from Ailee who was also pregnant with her third.

"Boy and girl." Eric said with a wide grin on his face.

Everybody congratulated them and couldn't be more excited for their growing family.

With her petite stature, everybody thought she'll be delivering the babies earlier and even the doctor said that if things didn't look good on her twentieth week cheeck-up, the doctor would've schedules her for a cesarian otherwise she'd be able to carry the babies in full-term.

And because she did manage to carry them full term, she delivered the babies naturally.

"Huh." Hyejin said then turned to Yongsun. "You sure his the father?" She asked flatly. "Because it seems like you could've made them on your own."

Everybody laughed much to Eric's expense being the of the joke.

"Hey! I'll have you know, Yongjae has my nose and ears and Yoonjoo has my eyes." He said matter of factly making them laugh some more.

Giggling as she watched her dongsaengs and husband bicker, Yongsun felt an overwhleming nostalgia hit her.

It hadn't been that long since since she and her wonderful husband had met and looking at all the changes that had happened then, she could only be grateful for her grandmother. If it hadn't been for her wish, Yongsun wouldn't have known if she'd be as happy as she is right now.

"Eoh?" Wheein muttered breaking her from her reverie. "Unnie, does it hurt anywhere? Why are you crying?" Asked the younger girl as she wiped the tears from her unnie's face.

"Oh!" Yongsun laughed. "I'm not. I'm just really happy."

*AN:

It's been a long time!

This chapter has been stuck in the shelf and for some reason, I just couldn't find a reason why I haven't posted it yet.

II honestly didn't need any particular reason but it just felt like it wasn't the right time then to post it.

To those who have walked with me in having this story written, you don't know how much I truly appreciate you.

If it weren't for you lot, I wouldn't have had the courage to pursue this passion of mine.

Although I might not be able to post anything new anytime soon, I hope that in the future you would continue supporting me still.
