to new beginnings... 

Within the duration of five days, Eric and Yongsun, with the aide of Yongsun's godfather's driver Mr. Halls (or Tom as he prefers), the couple went about London visiting one tourist spot to another and even discovering hidden finds in the city's back alleys. On the night of their fifth day in London, the couple decided to take their tour further away as they decided where they wanted to spend their last tour visit before taking a couple days off and finally heading back home to Korea.

So, for their last tour, the couple decided to visit one of UNESCO's World Heritage Site located at Wiltshire which is the Stonehenge.

"Then we should call Tom ahjussi and tell him to take the day off tomorrow so he can rest before we head their the next day." Yongsun said followed by a yawn as she cuddled up closer to Eric on the bed.

"You don't want to go there tomorrow?" Eric asked whilst combing her hair with his fingers.

"Ani. We should also chill and laze around tomorrow." She mumbled slowly drifting to sleep.

Eric couldn't help but smile at how adorable she is when she gets like this. "Eoh. Arasso. I'll make the call then." He said and grabbed the cordless phone on the bed and dialed the driver's number and made the quick phone call. When he placed the phone back to the receiver, he turned and saw his wife sleeping soundly in his arms. "Kyeowo~." He said and leaned to kiss the top of her head before fiing the blankets and turning the lights as well.

"Oppa?" Yongsun called out waking up feeling the empty side of the bed. When noone answered, she let herself absorb her surroundings and then that's where she heard some clanking coming down from the first floor. "Oppa?"

Lazily slidding off the bed and rubbing her eyes, she dragged herself out of their room and followed the noise even tripping herself and almost falling down the last step of the stairs. Finding herself in the kitchen door she saw the back of her man her as he busied himself doing something on the counter.

With the sound of the blender covering her dragging of her feet, she wrapped her arms around his waist giving his a back hug.

"Good morning." She mumbled.

Eric chuckled and turned the blender off before unwrapping her arms around his waist so he could turn around and give her a proper hug as well as a morning kiss.

"Umph!" Yongsun pushed him away and covered .

"Wae?" Eric asked a little buffled. This was the first time she had ever rejected his kiss.

"I still haven't brushed my teeth." She mumbled shyly.

Eric chuckled and quickly held her hands aways and gave her a long lingering moning kiss.

"Good morning." He said after pulling out and giving her another peck.

"Ahh~." She whined hiding her face on his chest. 

"Eoh? Why aren't you wearing a sweater?" He asked noticing how she was only in her pyjamas despite the cold morning.

She looked up and then turned around pulling his cardigan over her and his arms around her. "I don't need one." She said.

Eric chuckled shaking his head at his wife's adorable antics. "You are being so adorable and cute right now but I won't be able to finish breakfast with my arms around you like this."

"Eeuung~. I'm feeling too lazy to go back up." She whined.

Chuckling, he planted a kiss on top of her head and said, "But you have to. Go get ready and when you get back down, food will be ready." He held her by the shoulder and guided back out to the hallway and made her face the stairs.

"Hmp. Arasso." Slowly and like a scolded little puppy, she walked the stairs and turned around to find Eric smiling and motioning her to go up. 

Returning a few minutes later changed in a pair of loose pants and one of her husband's sweaters, Yongsun popped her head on the kitchen door to find her husband standing behind the wall which getting ready to pop out and scare her.

"Ack!" She shrieked a little and Eric could only chuckle like an idiot then stepped out of his hiding spot and pulled her in a hug. "Yah-ah."

Eric just flashed her a grin and pulled her to sit down while he went to the opposing chair. "Jajjan! Breakfast is served." He removed the lid and Yongsun, to say the least, was more than surprised to find a mixture of Korean and American dish on the table.

"Woah." She said and then automatically opened as Eric placed a slice of the blueberry waffle infront of .

"Otte?"

She didn't say anything and just kept chewing and savoring the flavor of the waffle. 

A little while later, after breakfast and after washing the dishes, the two lounged around the living room watching a movie until Eric's phone started ringing.

"Hold on." Eric grabbed the phone from the coffee table and answered the call. "Hey, Nicki."

Technically, Yongsun wasn't eavesdropping as Eric openly answered the call in her presence. She didn't really mind him answering his calls when they're together because most of the time, if it wasn't calls from his parents or halmoni he was receiving, it would be business proposal for him from potential clients. But compared to the last times she's hear his calls, never has she heard him adressed his clients by first name basis. This is the first time.

"You're what? In London?"

She could no longer focus on the movie and just ended up watching and listening to him instead. Eric was too engrossed talking to the caller to notice.

"Uh..." He hesitated somehow and saw him look at her for a minute. "Can you hold for a minute?... It's just a minute... I'm just going to ask her if she wants to... Eyy~... Wait."

Eric covered the receiver and to Yongsun he asked, "My friend's in town for some event and wanted to know if you'd like to have dinner in town tonight. Should we?"

Yongsun blinked. "Who?"

"Nicole. She couldn't come to the wedding because she had some schedule that day." He said and added, "She's nagging me to bring you."

She didn't think twice and nodded her head. "She's a friend, right?" Eric nodded hesitantly. "I-I should meet her."

"Are you s-" Before he could even finish his sentence, his phone rang again and he looked only to see that it was Nicole again. The girl can be very impatient when she wants to. He picked it up totally forgetting what he was about to ask his wife. "Yah. I only asked for a minute!"

"Yeah... Yeah... My wife said she's okay with it. What time?... Seven?... Okay... Fine... Send me the details as soon as you can... Mm 'kay. Bye."  He hanged up the phone right after slumped sideways leaning his head on his wife's sides.

Listening to his side of the conversation, Eric sounded a little annoyed but more happy that he got the call from someone in his circle of friends. To her, she didn't know why but that Nicole made her feel uneasy and a tad angry for no reason. She pushed the thought and feeling away not liking how it made her feel that way.

"A-are you okay?" Yongsun somehow found it odd to ask him that question as if it resonated towards her as well.

"That friend can really drain my energy when she wants too." He said and for no reason, just started poking Yongsun's side making his wife squeak.

Yongsun tried to push him off but the more she did the more he tried harder to tickle her and she couldn't resist him as she laughed in the effects of what he was doing.

Hours later, after watching movie, having lunch and watching more movies, the two unknowingly napped together on the sofa with Yongsun safely wrapped in Eric's embrace. Right as the sun was setting, Yongsun woke up hazy but happy at the familiar sight of her husband's face. Not wanting to wake him up, she quietly slid off and covered him with the quilt.

After drinking water and walking about the kitchen and living room, she got a little frustrated and had the urge to wake Eric up just to ease her boredom but she just couldn't. Then as she went up stairs, she forgot that out of all the rooms she's opened and checked, even her godfather's own room, there was this one room in the very end of the hallway that she couldn't open. She decided to try and open it once more.

At the end of the hallway, she nudgedthe door knob but it wouldn't budge as it is locked and needed a key. Looking around, there was a table with a vase as decor placed next to the door and thought that the key could've been placed there. THe table had no drawer so she lifted the vase but there was nothing below it or in the vase it self. And as she raised her chin thinking where the key could be, she looked up and at the top end of the door frame was a hook and lo and behold the key was there hanging by the make shift hook.

"Pabbo Yongsun-ah." She said to herself and jumped up taking the key finally able to open the door.

Scrumbling at the wall to find the light switch, she finally found something that lit up the whole room.

"WOW." Yongun could only blurt the word out breathlessly at the sight before her.

As soon as the room was lit, rows and rows of beautiful paintings and pictures surrounded her. She knew her Yong-appa (as she called him) loved collecting art pieces in forms of paintings and pictures but never knew he had this much of a collection. Looking around the room, he must've at the least have enough of these wonderful art pieces to open a gallery of his own.

"Woah. At least now I know what to get Yong-appa for Christmas." She muttered to herself as she walked around looking at the pieces and careful not to touch anything. In fact, the thought of living the room immediately crossed her mind as the image of her clumsiness invaded her head. But then again, knowing she'll get bored the instant she left the room, she ignored the thought and continued to go through every piece she can. 

Turning to the last row, she noticed one particular piece covered up with a maroon velvety cloth. The fact that it was covered with the type of clothing made her think that it's one of those exorbitant paintings that it got her even more curious and eager to find out.

She knew that she could get into a lot of trouble if she ruins whatever this is but it didn't matter. Something about this thing didn't just peak her curiousity, she felt that there is this force pulling her towards it telling her to uncover what it is that is hidden under.

Like in slow motions, she reached out to the hem of the clothing and slowly but carefully lifted if off the article and just like that, she took a step back to keep herself steady.

"T-that... T-this is..." This is m-me. This IS me. She thought to herself as she reached her hand out to make sure she isn't hallucinating and flinched as she felt the coolness of the glass that protected her picture.

B-but how? Otto-

"Yeobo?"

The sound of Eric's voice startled her and quick as she could, but not before noticing the signature of the photographer, she quickly placed the cover back on the framed photo and quickly ran out of the room.

"Yongsun?" 

She jumped and hid the key on her pocket as Eric's voice seemed to have come closer. She turned and then saw that he was indeed just a few feet away from her.

"Hi." He said pulling her in for a quick kiss that helped steady her heartbeat.

"Hi." She greeted back.

"I thought you left without living a note." He said nudging her nose with his.

She giggled feeling a little ticklish and hugged him by the waist with the side of her face on his chest. "Ani. I got bored waiting for you to wake up so I just thought I'd walk around the house."

"Oh. You should've just woken me up then." 

"I don't like waking you up when you can rest as much as you can." She said looking up to him. "At home, when you're really busy, you always wake up and live early for work and end up coming home late and stressed. Since we are on vacation, I just want you to rest as much as you can."

"Hmm." He said then saw something click in his eyes.

"What is it?" Yongsun asked.

"I totally forgot to ask you earlier. Remember the phone call I had?"

How can she not? Something about him receiving that phone call gave her a nasty feeling and she didn't like it one bit. She didn't want to open as she might say something she didn't mean so she answered with a nod.

"She wants to have dinner with us later tonight. Do you want to go?" He asked.

"Tonight?"

"Eoh."

She thought about it for a second and said to herself 'There's nothing wrong with meeting and having dinner with her so...' "Okay."

"Great." Eric said and gave her a hug. "You're actually in the same age and she's very bubbly like you as well. So I'm pretty sure you two will click."

I hope so...  Yongsun couldn't help but think to herself as her stomach tossed in a strange feeling of something she's never felt before.

*N: Hello! Belated Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday to Everyone!

    Long time no post! So originally, I had the intentions of updating sometime around the 24th or 25th but because I got the world's biggest sh*t load of luck, I ended up getting pretty sick on the eve of the 24th and was unable to finish another chapter. 

    Anyways, enough with my dumb excuses, I would like to thak you guys for being patient and having even bothered to keep yourselve's subcribed to my ffic. 

    But most of all, I really am grateful for the attention you give me and hope that you stay patient as I continue to take more time writing the story as best as I can.
