Not much Ddonggi Couple moments. More on Mamamoo time :)

That night, after the dinner and discussion with the girls, Eric and Yongsun had their own discussion about the matters of her being an open member of Mamamoo and of him taking on a project contract that could last for a couple of months. Although both were a bit apprehensive about speaking their topics out loud, Eric gave out a heavy sigh before speaking out his mind as he already knew what it was that troubled his wife. 

Yongsun, although happy and excited for him, was a little upset that her husband wanted to take the offer but understood that like her, this wasn't just a project or a job for him. It's also his dream. She also considered the fact that since she is going to sign on as a member of Mamamoo, she and Eric would barely get to see each other at home due to the re-training she and Byul will be doing in the upcoming months. Right there and then, when the thought of missing her husband hit her, she had that immediate need of dialing Kim Dohoon and the girls' mobile numbers to cancel.

The next morning, Eric discretely dropped off Yongsun and Byul at the basement entrance of RBW. 

"What do you think they're going to say?" Byul asked Yongsun as they quietly navigated to the conference room where CEO KIm Dohoon informed them to go.

Yongsun shrugged sighing her nerves out as she kept a tight hold on the blonde girl's hand while she watched the number on the elevator's indicator changed.

"Unnie, please relax. Your nerves are very infectious." Byul teased but was being truthful. "Please?"

"Arasso." Yongsun muttered with a hesitant smile.

When they reached their floor, as planned, they made their way to the room quickly and quietly, not wanting to gain any 'unnecessary attention'.  I mean, who wouldn't notice the two paranoid looking girls walking around the busy hallway of RBW's office floor?

It only took them less than two minutes to find the room and within those two minutes, they couldn't help but hear the mumblings of the staffs they passed by. Some of what those people said were okay while others did the opposite stating things one would really hate to hear. One of them, who Byul recognized as the team leader in-charge of training a rookie group, even went so far to say that they were nothing but visuals compared to the two "original" members of Mamamoo who are simply going to ride the coat tails of the two famous members.

Byul almost stopped to say something back but was pulled along by Yongsun who heard another staff telling that person to keep his mouth shut.

When they got inside, they were surprised to see not only CEO Kim Dohoon but the two other founders; Kim Jinwoo and Hwang Sungjin, along with the heads assigned in the different departments  who are going to be helping prepare and promote the girls. And ofcourse, let's not forget the two current active members of Mamamoo; Jung Wheein and Ahn Hyejin.

They greeted everyone and everyone greeted back.

"Alright. Let's not waste time and get to business." Kim Dohoon started while the youngsters pulled their unnies to take a seat next to them. "First off, we have to address one important matter before we get started with the whole contract discussion. The contract is already pre-written but it's only according to what the company or us board members demands from the two of you and we will only be putting up the finishing touches after you have stated your own claims.

"To get to the point, we, Kim Jinwoo huijang-nim, Hwang Sungjin huijang-nim, and I would like to ask you Yongsun-ssi on how you plan to promote as an idol as a married woman?"

Yongsun and the girls froze in their seats upon hearing what the director said.

She looked around the room and all eyes were on her and based on the expression of the department heads and other CEOs, they must've been informed ahead or had discussed about the matter ahead of time.

"Well?" Ceo Hwang asked waking her from her state of shock.

Yongsun swallowed hard clearing before speaking. "I-I...Uhm... I.."

"Relax unnie." Hyejin whispered. "You know most of them already and we all know they're worth the trust. Just breath."

Their maknae was right. Heaving her nerves out, she started to speak much better this time. 

Clearing out the matter of her being married, she said she had no intentions of hiding her status but no intentions of making it a public subject for the people to scrutinize. She also stated that the if the people are very much against of her promoting with her status, she'd kindly withdraw from the team just to ease the mind of everyone else but only if the members were to accept her withdrawal.

"Okay. Nice to know where we are with this." CEO Kim Jinwoo nodded approvingly as did everyone else in the room.

"W-wait. You're all okay with this?" She asked pointing to her finger where her ring shone brightly.

"Yes." Kim Dohoon chuckled. "Why do you seem so surprised? Did you think we'd ask you to keep your status a secret?"

"Neh!" The four of them chorused making the everyone else in the room burst into laughter.

"Woah~ I thought you'd need to be trained to bring back your harmony but it seems that we just need to sharpen it up." Esna, their vocal coach, said clapping her hands.

"Anyway," Ceo Kim J, cleared his throat and looked at the girls. "We, speaking for the board and me, have no qualms regarding your status since it was announced in the media months ago and for the fact that most of South Korea already know who you and your husband are."

Ceo Hwang chuckled. "Who wouldn't know you two? I mean, the rising star photographer Eric Nam and the heiress of the Kim Group of Companies?"

Yongsun blushed nodding quietly not wanting everyones focus for her being an heiress.

"Okay. Since that matter is all cleared up, let's talk about the contract. Shall we?" Kim Dohoon said and the department heads, left the room one by one leaving only the three CEOs and Mamamoo in the room.

Despite what how Byul and Yongsun had heard regarding kpop idol 'slave contracts', they kept their minds open and read the pre-written demands of the board carefully not wanting to miss a detail and were amazed to see that they were simple and easy to handle. There were some restrictions and limitations but nothing they can't do and as though they tried looking hard for any find prints, there were none. Yongsun was even surprised at how their contracts have no expirations and that they could just up and leave the group when they want to.

"Uhm... I don't mean to sound rude or anything but are you all sure about these?" Byul asked looking at the founders. "It seems like these are mostly on our favor rather than the companies."

"She's right." Yongsun agreed. "I see some details that could benefit both sides but most of these demands are more on our demands. I can't even find any fine prints. Are you sure you gave us the right papers?"

Yongsun looked at Byul for a second before turning her head back to the directors. They didn't seem like they were offended for that matter and seemed even more amused.

"Would you rather have use place you both in slave contracts instead?" CEO Hwang scoffed.

Wheein and Hyejin quietly laughed at their unnies.

"Look. As you know, I've written and produced a lot of songs for various singers and idols for some time now. Being this industry for a long time, I've observed quiet a lot of things in this industry both good and bad, and so did these two over here." CEO Kim D pointed towards his partners and friends. "And these demands aren't just in your favor alone. Upon rigorous discussion, the three of us have come up with these demands to how it would and will benefit us all."

"Besides, your contract isn't much different with Wheein and Hyejin here." Added CEO Hwang. "With the exception of the ''non expiration' part that is."

"And what of our existing contracts in the company?" Yongsun asked referring to their lyricist and composer positions.

"Those are yours as individuals, this contract is for Mamamoo." Kim D answered.

"So? What are your demands?" Kim J asked.

For the two weeks in the Nam household, everything became hectic as Yongsun tried to make a pattern and balance everything she had on her plate as a housewife, as volunteer, as a trainee and as an heiress doing what she can to help manage the Kim business. But when Eric found her a replacement teacher for the orphanage, she felt a tad guilty knowing how the kids would miss her as she would for them but knowing that the replacement was someone she knew, she felt a little relieved.

On the third week, Yongsun sat on their bedroom floor mindlessly helping her husband pack the luggage he needed for his trips. His trip wasn't until the end of the month but he just wanted to do it ahead of time incase they were both to busy to pack them.

Noticing his wife's mood, Eric pushed his bag, he shifted his position placing her between his legs in a sitting back-hug.

"Omo!" Yongsun shrieked.

"Are you going to be sad?" Eric asked propping his chin on her shoulder. "When I leave for the project, I mean."

Yongsun bit her lip and sighed, pressing her left cheek on his. "I barely get to spend time with you before you leave because of the training. I already am." She answered in a quiet voice.

"I won't be gone long. I'll be back before you know it." He said kissing her cheek and playfully tickling her sides.

"Ahh~ Oppa!" She squeaked trying to push his hands away.

After the first month of training, Yongsun and Byul found themselves easily enjoying and fitting in on the proccess. Even their vocal trainors, dance coaches and progress assessors (Board Reps.) applauded and were totally amazed at how easily they've coped and grown over the four weeks. But out of all the people who's seen their progress, Kim Dohoon had no doubt about the girls as he stood quietly giving his partners a smug look.

With the end of their first month of training came Eric's departure for his two months project abroad. Yongsun was still apprehensive with him going but seeing as he had been nothing but supportive, she put on her brave face and smile waving as he turned to the corner. She waited for a whole five minutes before finally leaving her spot as people who passed by started to gossip about how familiar she looked.

"Unnie," Byul called tuning the music off and pulling the girl down to sit as the two maknae's came in with food in tow. "Break time. The kids bought food."

"H-huh?" Yongsun looked fazed, panting and sweaty after continuously practicing the choreography for the comeback.

"See. I told you she's lost it." Wheein said snapping her fingers right to their unnie's face.

"Just let her breath for a minute." Hyejin said smacking the girls hand down and handing Yongsun an opened bottle of sparkling water who took it and immediately gulped half of it.

After preparing the food, they all said their thanks and started eating to their hearts content as they talk about their progress and caught up with each other's lives. Things were going well and the girls spent a good hour and a half eating and talking then the two finally had to leave for an interview. They were talking and cleaning up the mess when that team leader who had it for them, came in and slammed the door shut making them jump with the containers dropping back on the floor.

"Wahhhh!? Daebak!" The arrogant man said clapping his hands before placing them on his waist. "Is this what you do when the trainors leave you to practice on your own? And what's this? You even have the guts to order delivery to the company? Who the do you two think you are? Tch. Fcking coattail riders." He said before slamming the door leaving the two with their mouth ajar.

It wasn't the first time the man came in to 'check' on them but of all those times he came through their doors, today is possibly the worst after hearing him curse wildly at them. 

"Let's just ignore it." Yongsun finally spoke up squeezing Byul's hand.

Coming home to a quiet house in the middle of the night, Yongsun felt totally exhausted and wanted to do nothing but go to their room, take a cooling shower, and climb into bed. It took her no more than twenty minutes before grabbing her on of Eric's T-shirt and putting it on before getting on the bed. She wanted to go to sleep right away but the need of hearing her husband's voice powered through as she brought he phone out to dial his numbers.

It didn't two rings for her call to get picked up and she perked up from lying down leaning on the headboad waiting for her husband to appear on the screen.

"Hi, hon." Eric greeted waving his hand with a wide smile on his face.

Yongsun immediately jutted her lower lip and her eyes started tearing up. "Oppa~." She whined wiping the tears off. "Are you doing okay?"

"Eoh. Everything's been great so far." He said. "You look worn out. Did you eat?"

"Mm." She answered with a yawn following after.

Eric couldn't help but find it cute and chuckle. "Love, you need to go to sleep now. I know it's about one in the morning over there and if I'm right, you have to get up at seven for training."

"But I want to talk to you more." She said. "It's only been a minute."

"You're tired, yeobo. And you still have to get up early for tomorrow."

She wanted to tell him no but he suggested for her to lie down and she did with him still on the line telling her what he's been doing so far until he finally saw her eyes close.

Eric smiled softly taking a shot of the moment. "Good night, love." He said before ending the call.

     Just to let you all know, I plan on getting on with the story in a more sped up view point. If I don't most of the chapters would have too much Mamamoo time instead of Ddonggi time :D
