Gui Gui POV: Aaron…

Gui Gui: *speaking on the phone* So…what do you want for lunch? It’s an hour away.

Aaron: *on the other end of the call* Hmmm…so long as it’s with you….I don’t mind having the specimens in my lab.

Gui Gui: *Shrieks* What?! That’s so disgusting! I do mind, for you information. *smiles* Let’s have something special…

Aaron: Hmm? How special?

Gui Gui: You shall see…

Aaron: *laughs* All right, got to get back to work. See you soon!

Gui Gui: Bye.

With that, they end the call. Gui Gui takes out a big paper bag.

Gui Gui: Hmmm....*looks at her lunchbox* wonder if he will like the lunch I had prepared for him… *smiles sweetly*

Laboratory

Aaron is alone in the mortuary office, typing his report. He had just ended the call with Gui Gui.

Aaron yawns.

Just then, George came in. George: Feeling tired?

Aaron: Well…there’s no case for the morning. I’m kind of bored…

George: But we certainly don’t wish for any case. *smiles* Where’s Rainie?

Aaron: Rainie? I haven’t seen her for the past few hours…

George: I see…*Wondering*

Aaron: *cheeky* Why are you so concern? Hmm…she seems like a nice girl…maybe you and her…

George: Cut the crap! *nervous* I wasn’t thinking of that….

Aaron: But do you dare deny the fact that you are slightly interested in her?

George: Well…I guess I can’t deny….But I think that’s only

Aaron: That’s only just a start. You would feel more attracted to her as time pass…

George: *explains frantically* Hey I didn’t mean that! Stop teasing others and be busy with your Gui Gui!

Aaron: *laughs* don’t you worry about me. We are having lunch later…

‘Who’s having lunch?’ someone spoke.

George: *brightens up* Rainie. Where were you?

Rainie: Sorry George, I had something urgent to attend to in school so I couldn’t come in the morning.

George: It’s ok *smiles*

Aaron: Hey you didn’t say that to me when I was absent! *grumbles*

George says ‘Shut up’ without making any sound.

Aaron: *laughs* All right….

Rainie: Anyway, today’s the new girl’s treat. Anyone?

George: I’m free.

Aaron: Sorry I have a date. Next time *Smiles*

Rainie: Let’s go together! Bring your date *smiles sweetly*

George: Yea. I believe Gui Gui wouldn’t mind.

Aaron: *hesitates* Hmmm

Rainie: I believe you guys would have a lot of chances meeting alone. I only treat once.

Aaron: *laughs* All right then.

Gui Gui POV: *sighs* Looks like I have to finish my 2 lunchbox for dinner tonight…

Gui Gui thought grumpily while walking towards the mortuary.

Gui Gui POV: Well…so long as it’s lunch with Aaron, I don’t mind! *laughs*

‘Forgot to take your medicine?’ someone said sarcastically. It was Aaron.

Gui Gui: Hey! *pats his shoulder with strength* Stop catching me off guard!

Aaron: Well, you are always daydreaming and smiling at yourself. People might mistake you as a member from the asylum!

Gui Gui: *widens her eyes* Aaron Yan! You….

Even before Gui Gui could respond, Aaron had already took off and disappeared into the office.

Gui Gui gave chase: Aaron Yan!

She pushed the door into the office and to her surprise, the door swung opened and hit into someone.

‘Ouch!’ the victim called out.

Gui Gui stepped into the office: I’m sorry!

Rainie was the unlucky one. She lies on the floor and grumbles in pain.

Rainie: Aww…

George, Gui Gui and Aaron dashed towards Rainie at once, with George the most worried.

George: Rainie! Are you all right?

Rainie: I’m…..feeling dizzy….

Gui Gui: I’m sorry, it’s all my fault! I’m sorry!

Aaron: Gui Gui, it’s not totally your fault. Remember? I got knocked down once as well. I was walking towards the door hurriedly so I didn’t notice anyone pushing the door.

Gui Gui felt better after Aaron’s console. However, her guilty feelings were back when Rainie called out in pain.

George: I think we should bring her to the hospital. There might be a concussion.

Rainie: No…need….Just let me….rest on the sofa….

George: Okay…*Lift her up and place her on the sofa*

Rainie: George…I feel like so dizzy…

George: I go get you some ointment!

With that, he rushes out of the office.

Rainie: I need some….water….

Aaron: I will go get it.

Gui Gui: No, let me! I should do something!

Aaron: There’s no water left in the flask already.

Gui Gui: Ok I will get water from elsewhere!

Rainie: Aaron….

Aaron: How are you feeling?

Rainie: I’m feeling fine…a little headache…

She rubs her forehead lightly.

Aaron: I’ll do it for you. *massage her forehead gently* Feeling better?

Rainie: Thanks...I think I better sit up…I feel giddier lying down.

Aaron: Okay. *helps her up*

Aaron took the seat beside her: Better?

Rainie nodded in reply, her eyes closed.

Aaron decided not to disturb her. Thus, he rested on the sofa, slowly closing his eyes…

Soon enough, he dozed off…

She opens her eyes and looks at the handsome companion beside her. Just then, she heard footsteps.

Rainie POV: This is my chance….

She lies comfortably on Aaron’s shoulder, holding his hand.

Gui Gui: I got the water!
