I zip up the bag after one last look at him. He was only two years older than me. Such a pity, I said to myself. With one push, I closed the crypt.

‘Life can be vulnerable’ I mumbled to myself after sighing. As I was just about to proceed to the exit, a voice startled me.

‘Hey buddy, can I have the room at the corner? I prefer some privacy.’ That voice said.

I turned to the source of the voice and found myself face to face with the guy, leaning against the wall. He looks different, different from me. He was glowing and slightly translucent. He is the guy whom I had just ‘zipped’ up and pushed into the crypt in the mortuary.

Yes, I can see spirits.

I am Aaron Yan, and I can see spirits every day, in the mortuary. I am the mediator, also known as, the Go Between and here I am, mediating in between the two worlds….

Aaron Yan is a gifted student in Jolana University. At the age of 23, he had won countless awards that few can achieve. Enrolled in the course of Forensics Science as a scholarship student, Aaron was being assigned to the mortuary as an intern. He assists George Hu, the forensic scientist, at the mortuary and they soon click and became best buddies.

However, Aaron is not just any guy that walks down the streets, interacting with people. He can see what many can’t, that is, spirits. With the ability to interact with spirits, he is able to find out the true reason for the death of the victim and this would help the police in nabbing the murderer.

Just when Aaron thought that life would be just filled with forensics and spirits, the love of his life appeared. Gui Gui, a bubbly and positive policewoman, is filled with passion and drive to crack cases. Inspired by her father, Gui Gui swear to bring peace and justice to the society. However, other than being cheerful and friendly, she is also a blur queen. Though she always brings troubles to Aaron when they work together, the both of them eventually falls deeply in love with each other as time pass.

However, Gui Gui is ignorant of Aaron’s amazing yet creepy abilities. Would this stop Gui Gui from loving him? And with the appearance of Rainie who possesses the same power as Aaron, would Aaron change his mind and choose someone who is more compatible? Would Gui Gui give up Aaron for Chun, her superior, who had always been in love with her right from the start?
