Chapter 32: 5 years later

“APPA!” the five-year old Jae Hwa shouted while jumping up and down the bed to wake Yonghwa up.

“APPA~! WAKE UP APPA! UMMA’S COOKING ALREADY! APPA~” Yonghwa groaned and changed his position, making the kid annoyed. And with that Jae Hwa kneeled beside his father and shook him harshly.

“APPA! WAKE UP!”

“5 more minutes.”

“No appa. Umma’s going to be mad. Palli appa! Let’s eat together.” He said still shaking him harshly.

“Arraso. Go down first.” Yonghwa mumbled.

“Ani. Umma said, I won’t go down without appa. Palli appa.”

“Arraso.” Yonghwa said and grabbed Jae Hwa and tickling him as his sign of giving up.

“Hahaha… appa, stop… hahaha…”

“Come on, big boy, hop on appa’s back.”

The father and son reached the kitchen and were welcomed with the sweet smell of food. Yonghwa let Jae Hwa sat and went behind Shin Hye and kissed her cheeks and held her tummy.

“Good Morning Yeobo~!” Yonghwa crooned.

“Good morning~!” Shinhye replied and smiled. Yonghwa let Shinhye turn around, and he kneeled in front of her. He rubbed her tummy softly and said

“Good Morning to you too baby, how are you doing, huh? Don’t tire your mommy too much. Oh, before I forget we will go to the doctor later to see you.” He smiled and kissed her tummy.

“Me too! I wanna kiss mommy’s tummy!” Jae Hwa shouted.

“Arraso, come and kiss mommy’s tummy.” Shinhye said and giggled.

“Hello there, baby. Come out now. Faster! Palli! So we can play together.” He beamed and kissed her tummy.

“Yah, don’t force okay? Just wait.” Yonghwa said. Jae Hwa giggled and demanded food.

Shin hye, Yonghwa and Jae hwa are now dressed and is ready to leave.

“Jaejae, you’ll be staying on Uncle Geun Suk and Aunt Geun Young this morning, okay? We’ll fetch you right after we meet the doctor.” Yonghwa said as they entered their car.

“Appa, umma. Can’t I just go with you to the hospital?”

“No. You’re not allowed to get in the hospital yet Jaejae. Just play with DaeHyun, huh?”

“But—“

“No. we’ll just buy you an ice cream.” ShinHye said and smiled.

“Ice cream? Yey! Palli appa!” Jaehwa beamed.

After dropping the young boy at the GeunGeun’s residence, the couple went straight to meet Shinhye’s OB for an ultra sound.

“Oh? Mr. and Mrs. Jung, Good morning.” Dr. Lee greeted.

“Annyeong, Dr. Lee. We’re here for an ultra sound.” Yonghwa said.

“Oh, come, come.”

The OB put that gel thingy on Shinhye’s tummy and started the machine to detect the thing inside her. She’s five months pregnant actually.

“Oh, congratulations. It’s a baby girl.” Dr. Lee announced.

“Kyaaa~!” Yonghwa squealed and held Shinhye’s hand tightly like he was sending her a message of how happy he was and he loves her very much, while Shinhye smiled widely. She can’t wait to give birth to her second baby. She can’t ask for more, now that she has her own family with her one true love, Jung Yonghwa.
