Chapter 24: Girl bonding

Geun Young keeps on calling me last night. She really wants to go out with me today. She didn’t even give me choices, it’s either I like it or not we will be going out today. And because of that I have to cancel all my appointments, and not just that; I have to be absent for my work and I can’t even help Yonghwa for the checking of the preparations.

Geun Young, was the one who wake me up, it was still seven in the morning when she arrived.

“Yah! Wake up!”

“It’s still early. Give me five minutes more.”

“No bestfriend.” She said as she pulled my blanket.

“Aish. Please.”

“No. come on! We’ll have breakfast before we leave.”

“What? You’ll eat here?”

“Of course. Palli!” why so stubborn Geun Young?

When I got down the stairs, Geun Young was in the living room, talking to mom, dad and Yonghwa.

“Wait, did I just say Yonghwa? Why is he here early in the morning? I told him about Geun Young’s plan for today.”

“Oh, Good morning, Shinhye.” He greeted, which was the reason why my thoughts was interrupted.

“Good morning.” And with that I jumped from the last three steps of the stairs and went to him and hugged him tightly. He chuckled.

“So cute.” He said as hugged me back.

“Ehem. Good morning our princess.” Dad said.

“Oh, sorry, good morning mom, dad.” I said and hugged them also.

“Come and let’s eat our breakfast.” Mom said.

All of us followed mom’s lead. We were eating happily. Geun Young even asked Yong’s permission that she’s going to borrow me for a day. He happily nodded.

After our breakfast, Yong received a call from his manager, so he has to go ahead of us.

It was I who drove the car.

“So where are we going?”

“Mall, let’s watch a movie first.”

“Ah, ok? Geun Young, why all of a sudden?” she smiled and answered.

“Wae? Cant I have a bonding time with my bestfriend?”

“No. it’s just that… never mind.”

“Haha, alright.”

We arrived at the mall and headed straight to the movie theater on the last floor of the mall. We decided to watch a comedy movie. So we kept on laughing. After the movie, we went shopping, go to café, buy books, and all that we could think. It was really a tiring day but I enjoyed it.

It was still early, and I don’t want to go home yet, I just want to spend this day with my bestfriend. We decided that we should eat, but I don’t want to eat a full course meal, so we agreed on entering Starbucks, and ordered cappuccino and muffins.

“Shinhye-ah!” she said happily.

“Hmm?”

“I have good news.”

“Eh? We’ve been together the whole day, but you didn’t tell me any6 thing about news or what-so-ever.”

“Yeah, because I don’t know how to tell you this.”

“What is the news? Come on, spill it.”

“Alright! I’m pregnant.”

“Woah? Really?” I asked excitedly. She just nod.

“Haha, my bestfriends are making a family already. I’m so excited!”

“Yah. Stop giggling, you’re making your own family soon.” She teased.

“Haha, I cant stop it Geun Young, I just cant imagine it. I wasn’t even expecting that my two bestfriends would end up together.” I squealed.

We chatted and giggling about the fact that Geun Young is going to be a mother. Really? That fast. Hmm, why are they taking it fast anyway? I don’t know it’s their decision actually. I’m just here to support them.

I arrived home around seven in the evening. All the lights at home were turned off, does that mean that nobodies at home?

I stepped out from my car, I walked to the front door, I was about to turn the door knob, but I saw a piece of paper being attached at the door. And it says
