months passed after we started our official relationship

today, i visited the castle again just as i promised her. Sunah greeted me and made me a flower crown

"yeppeo!" she giggled as she put the flowers on my hair "aniyo.. Youre the one whos pretty" i complimented

She blushed and smiled "sweet talker"

i pinched her cheek "you don't like it?"

she shook her head "that's just the sunggyu i know"

i patted her head slowly.

"you know it's our 7th month anniversary, right?" she teased me

"really?" i pretended to forget. she quickly pouted and puffed her cheek before walking away

i ran after her and hugged her from the back.

"princess.. close your eyes" i whispered slowly as i covered her eyes slightly with my left hand

"what are you doing?" she asked. i didn't answer.

i quickly reached for a small box in my pocket and slowly lay it on her hand

i released my hand as she looked at the small box in her hand. she then look at me with a slightly delighted face

"sunggyu..! i thought you've forgotten!" sun ah said while opening the box

she gasped slowly as she took out my gift. it was a small ring.

"i'm sorry it wasn't very extravagant.. but.. yeah.." i stopped as i rubbed the back of my neck

without saying anything sun ah has hugged me tightly in her small arms. "it's beautiful. thankyou" she smiled

i leaned in to kiss her but then she placed a finger on my lips to stop me. she smiled teasingly as she started to ran away

i shook my head as i looked at her. she always play hard, just the way i like her.

"i'm going to get you!" i quickly chase her as she screamed and avoided me

Suddenly someone joined us "hyung!" a boy with a familiar face ran towards us

we both stopped running and looked at the boy

"prince myungsoo!" i approached him and patted his head

He giggled as he held a basket ball in his hands "want to play with hyung?" i offered

He nodded and ran to the court "gaja!" i followed him

That time, myungsoo was still 15 he was still innocent in a way

Myungsoo losses after 3 straight game. he was annoyed

Sun ah was sitting by the bleachers, giggling at us

Myungsoo decided to rest and sun ah passed us some drinks "kamsahamnida" i said when she wiped the sweat on my head

Sun ah smiled.

suddenly Myungsoo realized someone was coming our way

"ah noona! Yunho hyung came!" myungsoo screamed

I looked back to sun ah who looked annoyed then to the guy who walked closer to us

"whos that?" i asked myungsoo slowly "noona's fiancee" he giggled

Somewhere inside me ached. Fian..cee..? "aniyo!" sun ah came running to the court and closed her brother's mouth

"he's not my fiancee!" she screamed "yet" We looked back to the voice

yunho walked to sun ah pulling her into his embrace "yahh! Neo juggeulae?!" she pushed him away with a disgust face

Yunho coughed and looked towards me "nugu?" he asked me

I open my mouth but nothing came outWhat should i say? A friend?

"noona's best friend! Sunggyu hyung!" myungsoo cheered

Yunho smirked mockingly "chingu euh?"

"Im the princess's soon to be husband. Nice to meet you 'chingu'" he offered his hand and i shook his hand

"sunggyu imnida" i said slowly

"where are you from? Strong dialect you got there" he raised his eyebrow "boclain" i said

"boclain.. that poor country?" he snorted "yahh!! Neo micheoseo?!" sun ah quickly snapped angrilly at yunho

"you can mock me all you want but please dont insult my country" i said trying to held in my anger

"why are you guys so tenpered? I was just joking" he deffend himself

Heck we all knew he wasnt.

And if that was a joke, he was taking it way too far

"let's go" yunho pulled sun ah away forcefully

"Yah!! Let Go!!" sun ah struggled to release herself as he looked back at me

"let her go." i gripped on his hand as he turned at me.

he rolled his eyes before letting go of her hand.

yunho clenched his fists as he started landing punches on my body and throw a punch on my face

i growled slowly. i touched my lips as it started to bleed. sun ah screamed fearfully

"yahh!! stopp!!" she dashed towards yunho and pushed him back.

yunho smirked at her then to me, shooking his head and quickly jerked off, leaving us behind.

she looked at me feeling sorry. she then pulled me up slowly and walked me in.

"mianhae sunggyu-ah.." she lowered her eyes as she slowly applied the medicine

"nan gwenchana.. but is that true that he is your fiancee?" i glanced at her. she looked at me slightly guilty and nodded

"it was our parents who decide over everything. yunho oppa... is the son of my mom's best friend.. i don't even like him"

she snorted but there was sadness in her eyes "you know i only look at you, right?" she teased as she weakly giggled

i smiled at her and nodded. "and the same goes to you" i kissed her cheek slowly as she blushed

the door suddenly slammed open. there stood yunho and a woman. there was a slight anger in their eyes.

"omma..?" sun ah quickly bended backwards. i coughed a bit before getting away from her as well

yunho threw in a smirk as the queen stormed in and slapped sun ah fast. myungsoo was standing in fear behind yunho

sun ah started to tear up. "kim sun ah how many times should i tell you not to bring this guy in?!" she pointed at me

she then glared at me with her now angered eyes.

"if you want money don't get close to her!!" she reached out for her wallet and threw checks on my face.

i was completely taken back. what did she say? i don't get close with sun ah for her money! since when i'm that low?

"my highness.. i'm not here to take any money so please take back all of these" i compiled the checks and gave it to her

i tried to held in my anger and pride. she scoffed as she looked at me "you're acting all innocent, euh?!" she glared at me

"yunho has told me everything about you! don't act like you didn't know anything!!" she screamed as she landed a slap on my face

sun ah screamed with tears in her eyes. "omma! stop! sunggyu isn't like that! yunho oppa fooled you!" she pointed yunho

yunho gave an innocent 'what did i do?' face. her mother looked back at sun ah and to me.

"how dare you say yunho is lying?! i trusted him more than the both of you who sneaked behind me!!" she angered

yunho gave a slightly victory face and mouthed 'you're so dead kim sunggyu'.

i tried to control my anger as it loaded up. yunho.. that jerk.

myungsoo who was standing behind yunho came in and hugged her sister "noona.. don't cry.." he brushed her back slowly

sun ah sobbed as she held myungsoo on her arms "myungsoo ah.. " myungsoo softened as he started to sob as well

"get out myungsoo" the queen held in her anger as the younger heir came inside. her voice lowered but still full of hatred

"omma.. please believe noona.. sunggyu hyung is a nice guy" myungsoo said still not moving from his position.

she look back to yunho who's standing on the edge of the room with his hands are crossed "yunho.. take myungsoo away"

he blinked then walked towards myungsoo and grabbed his hand "let's get out.." yunho said in a soft voice

"no! yunho hyung! why do you do this to noona and sunggyu hyung?" myungsoo complained as he let go of yunho's grip

yunho's angelic mask faded as he pulled myungsoo away forcefully. "you don't need to know" he said in a low tone

myungsoo struggled but he was still dragged out of the room as yunho closed the door behind him

"omma! you believed yunho more than your own daughter?" sun ah voice shivered. her eyes welled up with tears

her mother threw another slap as i quickly stood infront of her.

i felt a slight elictricity going through the side of my face. "sunggyu!" sunah looked at me terrified

"please.. it was my fault.. not his... i love him" sun ah begged

her mother eyes widened "yunho is your fiancee!! how come you hang out with a filthy guy instead of yunho?!"

"he's not filthy!! i met sunggyu long before i knew yunho. sunggyu is the man i love" she half screamed

"it wasn't your fault. it's my fault." i admitted as i closed my eyes stopping sun ah.

"get out.." she lowered her voice as she glared at me "GET OUT!!!" she screamed as she started throwing things at me

"don't take my daughter away!" she cried as she threw in a teacup of hot tea at me

my hands are slightly burnt. i cringed before finally stood up  i walked out the door "sunggyu!"

i walked out the castle just then i heard a giggle from beside me as i turned around.

yunho wickedly leaned on the wall behind him and looked at me mockingly. "goodbye 'chingu'"

"low jerk" i mumbled slowly. he seemed to heard. "neo.. jeongmal.." he glared at me "you really want to die, don't you?"

he landed punches on my weakened body. i cringed as the blood started to flow out. i couldn't held back anymore

i slowly stood up and walked to him. yunho eyed me mockingly "you're so dead, kim sunggyu"

the anger inside me bloated, i felt my fists were hungry for some blood, yunho didn't even care

i ran towards him and pushed him down as i landed punches on his stomach "you jerk!!" i screamed as yunho shocked

"you low jerk!!" i started to aim for his handsome face and might've break some of his bones.

yunho started to lose his conciousness and knocked down. the blood overflowed from his mouth

"what is happening here?!" the guards started to gather around us. they looked at yunho and gasped "lord yunho!"

some guards took him away as for the others have circled me with guns on their hands ready to shoot me

i closed my eyes waiting for the bullet to be released "wait!!" sun ah screamed as she sobbed.

"princess, please don't stay here" one of the guards politely asked her to leave "no! leave him alone!" she screamed

"princess.. we have no other choice" the guards started to pull he away from me "sunggyu!! no!!"

"sun ah!" i screamed as i followed her "stop right there, young man" some guards stopped me and threw me on the floor

i cussed at the pain "i'll be the one to kill him" one of the guards stood infront of me

"seungyeol..?" i eyed him as he glared at me.

why is seungyeol here? is he one of the guards here? but why did he save me? i thought he hated me..

"but not here, it's an order from the queen" my eyes widened as he took me away with him. i tried to release myself.

he took me to the border between boclain and heveridth and left me there. "arent you going to kill me?" i asked

he turned back slightly "this is only a payback, sunggyu." he looked at me pitifully

payback..? i tried to remember and finally some pieces of my memories came alive.

i remember.. 6 years ago i saved him from a car crash, that time, me and seungyeol were mortal enemies, our dads are too.

our dads fight for jobs and always try to trap one another

it's been passed down to my generation that my family and seungyeol's family will keep on being enemies

but.. i just can't believe he would save me now...

"seungyeol.. what are you doing here? how come you know i'm here?" i whispered

"there's a rumor that a guy named kim sunggyu seduced the princess.. who else could it be?" he said sarcastically

"thankyou" i tried to smile but he only stayed expressionless

"go now. before they found you out. remember this is only a payback. nothing else. i still hate you, even until now"

"i'm glad you saved me" i said wholeheartedly as i smiled at him "don't act close. we're still enemies" he threw a face

"i'll report that you're dead. if you ever show yourself in heveridth, that time, i will really kill you, kim sunggyu" he glared

i gulped in as i saw him strode off.

seungyeol really helped me.. for some reasons, i didn't regret saving him that day.

the sun has settled down as the moon started to rule the sky once again.

i walked towards boclain with nothing with me, not even a penny..

i thought about what should i do next.. but i was stupid enough to forget that one thing..

that one thing that could change everything...
