everything is now leading us to nowhere.

My body has stiffen by his actions and words.

His hands that wrapped me tightly makes him more fragile than ever...

I'm afraid. I'm afraid that if I look back at him, I mightve hugged him tightly not letting him go.

I'm afraid that I might've betrayed woohyun and hurted him worse.

What should I do?

His breath stiffled. I closed my eyes slowly.

I sighed as I pushed myungsoo's hands, slowly releasing myself from him.

I didn't dare to look into his eyes...

"I'm sorry Myungsoo.."

I ran away from him, hiding the tears that are about to fall.

He mustve hated me by now. He must be.

I raced inside the castle, slamming the door behind me.

My back crashed onto the back of the door, sliding down while trembling.

I covered my face with my hands, drowning myself in my own tears.

I tried to control myself from this pain, from all the guilt I felt

Myungsoo.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry..

Slowly.. This love is getting lost. Like a labyrinth with no exit.

Woohyun's POV~~~

The door creaked open, the noise from the hallway emerged in.

I glanced at the door waiting for that person to come

But then, I was hoping too high

"Sunggyu hyung.." I smiled weakly, tyring not to show any dissapointment as he walked in closing the door softly behind him.

"Not the person you're waiting for?" He smiled sarcastically as he pulled in a chair next to my bed and sat

I sighed a bit "aniyo hyung.. I'm happy you're here.. There's a lot of things I needed to tell you.."

I sat on my bed slowly raising myself despite the pain in my leg

"Seeking for advices?" He raised his eyebrow, somehow knowing

I only nodded.

"Oh yeah.. By the way the princess is now resting at the castle.. She's just tired"

I nodded along. I knew she mustve been so tired these days.

I opened my mouth slightly trying to start a conversation

"Uhm.. Hyung.. I'm confused with myself. Recently the princess---"

Before I finished talking, he cutted off.

"Do you love her that much?" He pointed out

I was quite stunned. I think about that question slowly.

I am. I am in love with her.. Since the day we met and played together when we were six.. I have fallen for her.

Isn't that obvious?

But still, I only nodded.

"Do you think he also loves her as much as you do?" Sunggyu reffered to myungsoo

I looked outside the window, glancing at the park beside the hospital. There are lots of couples and it only pained more.

My thoughts went back to that time when he sneaked inside the castle just to meet her despite all the danger that he might've gotten himself into.

That myungsoo guy must've loved her as well.. But how can I know if he loves her more or less than I did?

Sunggyu hyung tapped his shoes lightly on the wooden floor following the rythmn of the song that played on the hospital's speaker.

I looked back at him slightly as he gave me a small smile

"I think both of you loves her equally but almost different"

I gave him a confused look. Not understanding his statement.

"How is that different?" The curiousity grew bigger

Sunggyu hyung shrugged keeping the secret to himself. He knows how to keep me frustrated of not knowing anything.

"So.. Are you happy now that she chose you over myungsoo?" He tried to change the conversation.

He pushed his lips into a smile. I didn't know what he really felt. Sunggyu hyung.. He's really good at keeping his emotions to himself

Sometimes it's funny that he seems to look inside me eventhough we didn't say anything to each other.

It's true that I'm asking myself that question recently.

"I should be happy.. But I'm not" I said almost expressionless

All these time I was waiting, kept waiting for her and now that she finally reponded, I should be happy.. But I am not. Not a slight bit.

"And why is that so, woohyun?" He said calmly but very straightforward

We both knew, somewhere in our little minds, behind the pretty lies I've been living, behind all those fictional statements I made. We both knew very well..

But to admit it myself? Hyung.. This is too much. Too much..

"Because she didn't love me"

Both of us were silenced.

"Then why did she chose you over him, then?" He asked bluntly, he acts all innoccent and not knowing.

I clenched my fist. This hyung why is he acting this way? Did he planned this to tease me? This joke is getting too far.

"Hyung! She felt guilty.. She.. She is burdened..! She.. I saved her life..! Isn't that just what you want to hear from me?! That she didn't love me and never will?!" I screamed

"Aishh!!!" I threw myself back on the white hospital bed closing my eyes slightly with my left arm.

I can feel sunggyu hyung patted my arm slowly, brushing against it

"I'm sorry Woohyun-ah.. I didn't mean to tease you. But.. I'm just afraid that you'll end up in regrets.. I'll leave, eo?"

I didn't respond. His weak voice but full of sincere whispered softly. I can hear his footsteps are getting farther and farther. Then he stopped.

"Woohyun-ah.. Hyung really cared about you, you know that well right? I know you're really mad right now.. But in the end, this is your life. I have no solid control over it and you decide your own ending to your story."

His voice slowed down and walked again. His footsteps are fading as he opened the door and closed it slowly before me.

He has gone.

'Hyung really cared about you. You know that well right?'

That sentence echoed inside my head causing a headache. I felt confused and mixed.

Hyung, what should I do?

Narrator's POV

The hearts of the four were overflowing with sadness.

That night, Without anyone knowing, Myungsoo met woohyun at the hospital.

The two froze infront of each other.

"What are you doing here? I don't want to see a heveridth right now" woohyun scoffed

Myungsoo only looked at him throwing him a piece of paper, a letter precisely

Woohyun looked at him confused. He opened the letter slowly, reading it. His eyes widened and glanced back at myungsoo

"What do you mean by this?" Woohyun threw the letter away

"It's a promise between men. Let's duel. The one who loses must not interfere with the princess anymore" myungsoo said in a serious tone

"You want to fight with a sick person?" Woohyun smirked

"No. Contact me after you're fully recovered. Let's fight fairly" myungsoo reached out his hand

Woohyun smirked but then he also reached out his hand. The both promised

"Remember, if I win, just go back to your darn kingdom and leave us alone, okay?" Woohyun said confidently

Myungsoo smiled "yeah. And you.. If you lose, don't ever show your face infront of her"

"Deal" woohyun let go of the handshake and so myungsoo left.

Actually.. He wasn't prepared. Somehow he think woohyun can protect her better than he did and that woohyun knew her longer than he did.

Myungsoo sighed, somehow regretting that promise.
