6:00 a.m    the alarm went off , as it always did at the same time every morning and as annoying as ever    “ hmmmm “ yonghwa grunted in his sleep as he sank in the soft pillow further , hoping that it was all a nightmare and he got a plenty of time to sleep    he was back to his full senses in an instant as her small hands shook him roughly  “ appa !! wake up “    her small voice was so cute that he would let it all pass for her , whatever she did and however she wanted it , he had done it all    he got a sight of how beautiful she is , and how resembled her mother and smiled every time he did    “ good morning , my princess “    she threw herself into his arms and he hugged her tightly    “ appa , quickly get ready or we’ll be late for the bus “ she whined   and yonghwa replied in a military tone “ roger , my princess “    her grandparents from both family sides ; had always  protested for how much yonghwa spoiled her , they told him he’ll complain later of how arrogant she got as she gets older but yonghwa would always answer them ; she’s my little princess and she needs to be treated that way , plus there’s no way she would be more arrogant than her mother    further more , although yonghyun is almost seven years old ; she would sneak into their bed every single night , abandoning her girly pinkish room    “ you’re the only kid in the world who gets this excited every morning over going to school “ seohyun was the one who mumbled the words in her sleep   “ a book worm , just like someone i know “ yonghwa hardly said the statement as yonghyun squished his cheeks to super him up further    seohyun chuckled softly as she turned over in bed , laying on her side and watching her family intently with a smile twisting her lips    “ omma , you too ! wake up “ yonghyun said protesting    “ alright , alright “ the mother nodded as there was no way she could phrase this some other way    after a few jumps on the king sized bed and some play between covers - in and out - until her parents are finally very awake , yonghyun jumped off the bed and ran to her room    yonghwa turned over and faced seohyun , both still laying on their individual pillows as they mutually gazed at each other   it was exactly ten months since yonghwa was discharged from military , he got used to this kind of family life so much that he forgot how he would he ever had lived without a family , without waking up to his daughter’s voice and his beautiful wife    something any less than this would be too bland and lonely for him    “ what are you thinking ? “  seohyun asked with a soft morning voice    “ the same thing i think about every morning “ he replied as his warm hand reached to caress her cheek gently , “ how much i love you and my daughter “    seohyun sighed a small sigh , just because she was too overwhelmed to reply to his cheesy words first thing in the morning  she bit her lip and gathered her thoughts preparing a reply which she thought could satisfy her lovely husband’s cheesiness “ i w.....”    “ appaaaaaaaa , ommmmma !!! “    both yonghwa and seohyun were snapped with the shock of their daughter’s voice screaming , they flew from the bed to her rescue as various terrifying thoughts drilled into their half awake brains with fear    when they landed her room , they found yonghyun completely fine holding her uniform in hand , “ please help me get dressed “    their half-awake brain was to blame for plying tricks on them , of course yonghyun was only trying to get their attention    after the incident , it was their usual morning routine ..   yonghwa headed to the kitchen , every morning he prepared yonghyun’s toast and orange juice , and a cup of coffee for himself and seohyun    while seohyun helped her small yonghyun dress up for school , then she brushed the little girl slick black long hair , and added a couple of cute glittery pink pins to her hair      seohyun planted a kiss on yonghyun’s forehead as a finishing touch and congratulated her  “ you’re ready to go , sweetheart “    yonghyun danced her way to the kitchen table as she knew she’ll find her father there   “ appa , i’m done ! “ she introduced herself to her father with imaginary flashy effects she did with her small hands    yonghwa wowed “ look at you ! so pretty and cute “     yonghyun smiled happily as she sat on her seat “ thanks appa for the meal “    “ you’re welcome “ yonghwa said , he grabbed both coffee mugs and sat next to his daughter    after placing the other mug on the table , he sipped his coffee quietly as he checked his phone going from social media to his mail    seohyun sat on the table , she sipped her coffee and checked her phone too , musical and drama news especially interested her     seohyun phone notified her with newly arrived message popping on her screen and distracting her    she smiled as the message was sent from yonghwa who sat less than half a meter away , a message with such critical content  ( * red heart emoji * )   seohyun immediately replied with unlimited red hearts emojis and it worked like magic on her husband as he grinned madly    “ i’m done “ yonghyun said and stood from her seat , “ let’s go “    yonghwa nodded and stood too , he grabbed her bag and waited by the apartment door as seohyun hugged her daughter and bid a love filled farewell to the girl    yonghwa held his daughter hand as he closed the door and took the elevator    “ have a nice day with your friends , learn a lot and play safely “ yonghwa talked as he would always initiate a quick fatherly conversation with her daughter on his way to the bus    it was to imprint good morals and a insure she’s a healthy sociable girl    “ i will , appa “ she nodded    “ be polite and listen to your teacher “    “ i will , appa “ she nodded   “ is there anyone cooler than me at your school ? “ yonghwa asked    “ No , appa is the coolest one “    “ and if any boy told you that he likes you , you know what to do ? “    “ yes , i will tell him i only like my appa “    “ good “ yonghwa nodded firmly   his girl was smart after all , he only had to repeat those questions and imprint those answers for four consecutive weeks and now she answers them perfectly     not that he would tell seohyun about it !    when they walked out of the building , the school bus was there waiting for yonghyun    yonghwa squatted down to hug his girl one last time , he whispered in her ear “ appa loves you a lot “    he stood up again and delivered the bag to her hand “ i’ll come pick you up later , i won’t be late “    he watched over her as she rid the bus and sat on her seat , he waved a bye to her as her bus took off and went away    yonghwa took out his phone and checked the time , exactly 7:00 a.m and 3 hours away from his FNC meeting ..    he ran back to the building , vigorously calling for the elevator by crashing the button continuously as if it would make the elevator descend faster    which made him earn a glare from the security man sitting in the lobby , who was mincing on his lips worried over the building facilities from the tenant jung yonghwa    the jung yonghwa who would deal roughly with the building facilities whenever he walk his daughter to the bus and come back running for the elevator , as if it was the end of the word and funnily every single day    the elevator made a ding dong sound as it arrived the lobby and opened their door    yonghwa awkwardly smiled to the security man and went into the elevator calmly to fake a temporary respectful aura    7,8,9,10,11..   as the elevator ascended , yonghwa checked on his watch again 7:02 a.m    he almost sweared as he felt the time was passing by ultra fast , time which should be spent wisely    he seriously thought about his choices of moving out from this apartment which occupies the 20th floor , and buy another apartment on a lower floor so he would save time , he’s a busy father after all    ~   ~    ~    ~    after much mind strains and calculations , he arrived his apartment safely and entered his passcode cautiously so he would do it at the first try - he learned from his past mistakes -   once he’s in , he heard the running water in the kitchen so he headed there in a stomping steps    “ passcode right at the first trial , you’re getting good in this “ seohyun giggled teasingly as she washed the dishes from the breakfast    yonghwa shut the water running with one hand and swirled his other hand on seohyun’s waist , “ i earned a glare from the security guy at the lobby , all because of you “    seohyun laughed for real this time “ wae ! “    “ how would i know , ask him ! “ he replied with annoyed face    she turned over just enough for their lips to instinctively meet in a kiss , a sweet gentle kiss which took long enough for seohyun to completely get into his hold and hang her arms on his nape    yonghwa broke the kiss , he slid his arms under her back and her knees while she kept a hold of his nape as he carried her princess style to their bed , his lips found hers a few times on the way to establish the intimate mood    he laid her on the bed gently and took a full gaze at the goddess in front of him before he yanked his shirt off and joined her in bed , exactly on top of her    he kissed her again , this time with burning passion and urgency , his hand cubbing seohyun’s neck had tilted her chin upward in awkward angle to encourage her to open and she did    his tongue swirled with hers competitively and she moaned softly    the husband pulled away to talk in a deep grunting voice “ i missed you “    seohyun chuckled “ we just did it yesterday “    he reasoned “ we’re husband and wife , we should do it every moment “   “ ... , no one ever said “ seohyun joked with a giggle     “ tsk .. “ yonghwa ground his teeth    “ say oppa , would you cancel FNC today for me ? “ seohyun asked seriously , she reached and crawled a soft touch on his lips and down to his chin , her wide eyes gazing at him    “ i would retire for you “ he replied in seductive tone
