Chapter 11
Life Behind the Wolf's HowlChapter 11
Xiumin paced back and forth in front of the door that led to the bathing chamber. His claws clicking against the stone floor as he anxiously waited for Elana to come out. He was worried about Elana as she had been in the room for quite some time. Even though she had told Suho and himself that she would stay, which made him beyond happy, he still had a small amount of fear that she would leave him. When she had said she would stay, he felt her hesitation and reluctance; because of that he didn't want her out of his sight. He had, after leading her to the bathing chambers, tied to follow her in. With no other thoughts, but making sure that she didn't leave, or get injured. Of course Elana hadn't allowed it. Forcefully shoving him out the door and closing it securely behind her. With no hands to turn the door knob, Xiumin was stuck waiting for her.
At first, he had been fine with the idea, laying his large body across the threshold he calmly waited. But after twenty minutes or so of waiting, the calmness he had felt turned to concern, What if she had fallen into the bath, or escaped out the window. He really hoped that she didn't try to leave through the window, seeing as how they were not exactly on the first floor. He would much rather let her go alive, then have her die while trying to escape. Except she didn't know that, him being stuck in his wolf form, pretty much limited his communication with her.
Xiumin stopped pacing, letting out a long whine, as he scratched at the door. She didn't have to come out, but he wanted a response. He waited a few seconds before scratching at the door again, letting out another whimper. She still didn't respond. Xiumin didn't have hands to turn a doorknob, but he wasn't the average wolf either, he could easily plow down the door if he had to.

Elana flinched at the sound of claws pawing at the wooden door. She quickly glanced towards the door, wiping the tears from her eyes. She hadn't meant to cry. But once she was all alone, and had refreshed herself, the tears had just been triggered. When she had started washing her hands, and the dirt had all been rinsed off, she noticed multiple scrapes across her palms. She had gotten them when she had been pulled to the floor. When she had been attacked. That's when it hit her. She had almost died. Of all the terrible things that could have happened, the top three had happened to Elana in less than twenty-four hours. She was lost in a different dimension, or time, she wasn't entirely sure yet which one it was. She had been kidnapped, and now she had almost died. Elana could only hold back so much.
