I saw the way TaeMi watched as Tao chased after Luhan and Kai. She watched him so closely even though I was sitting right next to her.

 

I mumbled a quick sorry before bolting out of the restaurant.

 

Those words. The ‘not yet’ that escaped her lips, the exact same words she said to me not even one week ago when Kai first came. How could something like this change so quickly?

 

How could feelings change so quickly?

 

I had slowed when my thoughts wrapped around me and consumed me. But suddenly a memory one from not to long ago but it seemed so distant popped up in my mind. I started running once more.

 

When I got home and ran up the stairs, taking two at a time, trying to remember what I had done with it.

 

I went over to my backpack, the last place I remember seeing it. I opened the backpack, throwing out the books and paper. I felt around in the bottom of the bag.

 

It had to be here.

 

When I felt a familiar shape, I yanked my hand out holding the skull bracelet in my hand. I looked at it. It was old and fading, but it was something I once cherished so much and even now looking at I can’t help get weak.

 

This bracelet was Tao and I’s friendship, worn out and old, but still strong.

 

Why was I always acting like this? So sensitive and always upset or on someone's bad side?

 

I sighed and leaned back falling lightly on my bum. I stared at the braclet. I really was acting so childish, behaving like this and causing problems for everyone. Guilt ate me up but only to be pulled back out of my thoughts when my phone started buzzing in my pocket.

 

“Sehun where are you?” Tao yelled on the other side of the line.

 

“I’m at home don’t worry.”

 

“You suddenly vanished TianMi and I were really worried.”

 

“Tao ge.”

 

“Yeah?” Tao was panting, he had probably been running around looking for me.

 

“I am really sorry you know.”

 

“Sehun I know you are, okay? Just stay where you are, we are coming.” I sniffled feeling my eyes swell. I nodded my head even though I knew he couldn’t see me. I whipped my cheeks with the back of my hand and hummed assuring him I wouldn’t go anywhere.

 

The door to Tao’s room opened only a few minutes later and I hung up from the phone. Tao ran over to me.

 

“I’m sorry too Sehun.” He squatted down next to me.

 

“Friends?” I asked him trying to stop my tears, I must have really looked like a little kid to him.

 

“Brothers.” He smiled and ruffled my hair. Something he hadn’t done since we were really young. It was warm seeing him smiling at me.

 

There was a light knock on the door and we both turned to look that way.

 

“You’re okay.” TaeMi smiled, one filled of relief. I nodded, I tried to dry my face on my shirt before standing and walking over to her, Tao on my tail.

 

“Tao can you translate for me?” I turned to him and he nodded. I looked to TaeMi and smiled slightly, taking a deep breath I begun,

 

“TaeMi, I’m sorry for dragging you out of your comfort zone ever since I meet you. And I’m sorry because of me you had to face those two again and had to be bullied even more.” I stopped and turned to Tao, he took the hint and told TaeMi what I had said. I picked up a few words that I recognized. I knew what I had to say probably would have lost its sincerity in my struggle in the language.

 

“But I am not sorry for making you smile and become friends with Tao and the guys.” Tao scoffed but still translated. TaeMi let out a small little laugh. She looked back at me to smile.

 

“I really thought I liked you, maybe it was just a momentary infatuation, but either way I still enjoyed the time I got to spend with you.” I could just about hear Tao roll his eyes at my cheesiness.

 

“It’s not like you are dying stupid.” He mumbled before translating. TaeMi blushed and looked away for a moment.

 

“So over dramatic.” Was all she said and all three of us laughed.

 

There was a sudden clapping coming from behind TaeMi, who still stood in the doorway. we looked to find Kai, Luhan, and now Lay all staring. Kai slowly clapping and Luhan fake crying.

 

“Beautiful,” Luhan sniffled. Lay looked at Luhan like he was from outer space. You could hear the slap of Tao facepalming before everyone broke out into light hearted laughter.

 

“I am going to miss you guys when I leave.” Kai sighed, "especially LuMi." He winked at Luhan. Luhan almost choked and Lay patted his friend's back.

 

“When is your flight?” TaeMi, ignoring Kai’s last little bit, asked turning to face the boys in the hallway fully.

 

“In the morning, Auntie is driving me.” Kai nodded sadly.

 

“Morning?” I asked to clarify, earning another nod from the other Korean.

 

“We should have a party.” Lay mumbled still patting Luhan’s back even though the boy had fully recovered.

 

“Yeah!” TaeMi cheered, “A going away party!”

 

“But its all last minute.” Tao sighed, “People could be too busy for a party.” I nodded my head trying to follow the context.

 

“Party pooper!”

 

“What the heck are you talking about?! The boys never back down from a party!” Luhan encouraged.

 

“Fine you call them. I’ll see if Mom can whip some food up.” With that Tao left down the stairs.

 

“Tao agreed!” Kai updated TaeMi and the two did a little happy dance. Luhan dug out his phone going to call Jongdae, Kris and MInseok.

 

“Oh yeah Luhan!” Kai stopped him before he called any one. “Can LuMi come?” Luhan gave him an aghast look then ran downstairs. Kai and TaeMi laughed it off while I watched on in confusion.

 

I ended up being forced into running to the corner store with of course with supervision, Tao had deemed me too unstable to go alone. I was given a list, some soda and chips along with anything I saw befitting to a party scene.

 

Lay had created a party playlist and had dragged Tao’s nice speakers downstairs, without the permission of the owner to Tao’s annoyment. Luhan called the others and soon they were all at the house making rukus.

 

Auntie had made some snacks and later left to go to the spa to leave us alone. Tao had ordered everyone around, making sure that none of the soda I bought ended up on the carpet. TaeMi had even secretly borrowed Luhan’s phone and called up LuMi.

 

A light knock came from the door, no one hearing at first. The person knocked at the door a little harder. Kai got up from the seat he had taken at the couch to watch Luhan’s reenactment of Tao’s first day of high school.

 

Kai opened the door and his jaw dropped to the floor.

 

“Luhan! How did you get outside suddenly!?” The girl laughed bringing her hand to her hair.

 

“I don’t look that much like my brother, do I?” Kai sputtered until Tao came to the door and let her in.

 

“AH!” Luhan screamed, “What are you doing here!?”

 

“Your friend called me. I wanted to have fun too meanie!” Everyone laughed at the girl scolding Luhan who stood on the coffee table. TaeMi stood and dragged her in.

 

“I am TaeMi, you are Luhan’s twin LuMi right? I heard a lot about you!” LuMi laughed and the two girls sat next to each other on the couch.

 

“Why does she have to ruin the party?” Luhan got down, pouting and crossing his arms.

 

“I’ll introduce you to everyone.” TaeMi smiled, she was happy to have another girl join them. She pointed at me, “This is Sehun, his Chinese . That's Yixing, Kris, Chen. Where is Xiumin?” She asked Tao who came up behind her, dragging Kai who finally was sort of coming back to his senses.

 

“He went to go buy alcohol since Sehun couldn’t.” TaeMi nodded.

 

“Well behind us is Tao with the red hair and slack jaw Kai.”

 

“Hi,” Kai waved, still slightly mesmerized. LuMi giggled and gave a small wave back.

 

“Stay away from Kai,” Luhan huffed, but his sister just stuck her tongue out at him.

 

“I do what I want.”

 

After Minseok arrived with the alcohol Luhan had calmed down and let LuMi do her own thing. I mostly chatted with Kris as in I talk to him and he texted on his phone.

 

I watched how everyone was having fun. Luhan doing shots with Jongdae, Lay the only person dancing to the music. Tao and TaeMi talking to LuMi and Kai watching her like a hawk while talking with Minseok.

 

The party was fun and as the night went on so did the drinking. We ended all getting roped into a game of truth or dare by the very drunk Luhan.

 

Only Kai and I didn’t seem so excited by the game, but that could also be because we were the only ones with zero alcohol in our systems, Tao had been very strict on us.

 

“Ok ok!” Luhan got our attention. “I will start and since this is our Kai’s going away party, Kai! Truth or dare?” Kai smiled thinking for a moment.

 

“Dare?” Luhan nodded exaggeratedly.

 

“I dare you to write your name with your ! In Chinese!” Everyone laughed. Kai scoffed and stood up.

 

“Easy!” Kai wiggled his around in the air and Jongdae even dared to call him out on his terrible spelling. When Kai sat down, I was officially the only one not excited by the game.

 

“Ok Tao, truth or dare!?” Kai pointed at the Chinese boy. Tao frowned,

 

“Truth.”

 

“Did you ever crush on Sehun?” Tao choked on the beer he was sipping on. I jumped out of my seat and scuttled over to Kai only to tackle him to the ground. Kai laughed his lungs dry at our reaction, in fact everyone laughed.

 

Kris ended up ripping me apart from Kai while TaeMi tried to help Tao breath.

 

“No! What the heck is wrong with you!?” Tao yelled, pointing at Kai accusingly. Kai just laughed it off.

 

“Totally worth it,” He snickered.

 

“My turn then.” Tao sat up straighter, “LuMi.”
 

“Hmm dare?” She laughed.

 

“I dare you to give Kai a hug!” It was Luhan this time who attacked Tao. LuMi just laughed and did Tao’s dare one better, she kissed Kai on the cheek. Kai nearly fainted if Luhan hadn’t smacked him upside the head.

 

“Luhan sit down its my turn.” LuMi kicked Luhan in the leg, forcing him to go back to his side of the circle.

 

“Ok Sehun! Truth or dare.” I looked up from my hands, I had become rather uninterested and had occupied my mind by playing with the hem of my shirt.

 

“Uh, Truth.” LuMi smiled and thought for a second before her simple smile turned into a grin.

 

“Who do you prefer best in the room?” Kris leaned over and translated for me, I nodded before clearing my throat.

 

“Minseok.”

 

"Xiumin and Sehun sitting in a tree! K-I-S—" Luhan got smacked in the face by Minseok before he could get any further.

 

“Eh? Why Minseok?” Jongdae inquired.

 

“He’s doesn’t annoy me.” There was a roar of protest before Tao threatened to kick them all out if they didn’t shut up.

 

“It’s getting late.” Kris looked up from his phone. "I can take a few people home.”

 

“Ah it is,” Jongdae looked at his watch.

 

“Whaaat its still early!” Luhan slurred, swaying in his seat.

 

“I’ll take this idiot and LuMi home,” Minseok stood, dragging Luhan by his collar.

 

“Chen, Yixing and TianMi, I can take you guys home.” Kris stood and with that our circle parted.

 

“I can take her home Kris you already have those two to take care of.” Tao pointed to Lay who was passed out and Chen who was poking the sleeping boy and giggling. Kris nodded and went to the two.

 

Minseok was quick to leave with the help of LuMi in dragging Luhan. And Kris with Chen and Lay followed soon after.

 

Kai and I went up stairs leaving Tao and TaeMi to themselves. I curled into Tao’s bed when Kai jumped in.

“I really am going to miss everyone. You have such great friends here, Sehun. I am glad Kyungsoo accidently burnt down half the school."

[A/N]

So how does it feel finishing your last chapter?

It doesn't really feel like the last because I still don't know what you will write.

If there's ever an epilogue, are you going to write it? Since I wrote the prologue.

I feel like you will do a good job wrapping it up that we wont need one, plus I am lazy haha.

But yeah this is my last chapter and probably my last AN idk. I will treat it as.

I really wanna thank you guys who stuck through our story and the randomness of it and our irregular updates. I had a ton of fun writing this story. SHINeeTurtle and I are planning to write together even more in the future (we have already tossed around a few ideas but nothing is set in stone).
