“She’s still asleep, council member.” The healer told him.
Suho was getting impatient. It’s been two days since the girl was found and he has yet to see her.
“What’s the matter, brother?” Munhee questioned, bewildered at how he was acting.
“She has been unconscious for days now.” he reasoned out. “I’m just worried.”
“I think it’s normal.” Munhee said with raised brows. “Isn’t that right, Bien?”
Bien merely nodded. The aging lady was preparing for something to feed the unconscious girl.
“See? So lighten up. Or better yet, use the requests as distraction. I shouldn’t be visiting you here instead of your house.” Munhee shook his head.
His brother doesn’t understand. The desire to see the rescued girl was hard to ignore. He couldn’t concentrate on his council work. He even had trouble sleeping the last two nights because of it. The tray flew and the healer fell on her behind. Suho quickly helped her to her feet. When the healer got steady, Suho raised his head to see why the door opened so suddenly. And his breath got caught on his throat. A slight burn on his right side started.
“Oh my, child.” The healer said. “What are you doing up?”
The girl was standing on the doorway, looking like an angel with her white hair and white patient’s gown. She looked disoriented, but the confusion was more evident on her face.
“I’m sorry, I-” the girl said. The way she spoke the words were a bit different, but he could understand her. “Where am I?”
“Umido,” he immediately answered.
She looked at him blankly, before her eyes strayed to the fallen tray. “Goddess, did I cause that? I’m really sorry.”
The healer started to bend down and clea
