A Turning Point?
Opposites AttractOnly one thing went through Jonghyun's mind as he laid in his bedroom back at his house: His father was in critical condition and he hadn't bothered to visit him once. His deep thoughts were interrupted as his phone rang. It was Bora. He didn't even feel the energy to pick up the call. There was a gentle knock at the door.
"I got you some water," Mrs. Lee smiled weakly and handed him a glass.
Jonghyun graciously accepted it and took a sip.
"Oma," he started.
"Wae?"
"I'm realizing everything now," he said.
"Realizing what?" Mrs. Lee asked.
"Everything," Jonghyun replied in a raspy voice and threw himself back onto his bed, "I'm realizing everything."
Mrs. Lee sighed and laid her hand on her son's forehead.
"Today must've been hard on you. Get some rest."
As soon as Mrs. Lee walked out of the room, Jonghyun grabbed his phone.
"Secretary Kim, get me all the latest documents starting from last year on Gyungdae. I gotta start studying."
