Saranghae My Teacher [abandoned sorry orz]

Sandara Park’s POV about Moon Jongup

My first subject’s finished. Now I have to go to class C for their Filipino subject. There are few students in class A that seem to catch my attention for various reasons. The first boy would be Moon Jongup.

Moon Jongup is a sunny boy who’s sweet, caring for his friends and witty. I don’t know if I should call them malapropos but if you look at his written works, they’re grammatically correct. It’s just… I really don’t know how to explain. His most unforgettable quote for me would be “Practice is practice. Chicken is chicken.” That was from an essay about himself I assigned them to write.

I see him as this silent yet cute guy who says absurd things. I often hear girls swoon over him because of his glorious six pack abs and killer dance moves. I didn’t know that. I wanna see that talent.

That gave me a bright idea… But I’d rather not tell. Soon…

Sandara Park’s POV about Zelo

Another distracting student would be Jongup’s best friend Choi Junhong. Most of his classmates call him Zelo instead. Isn’t that supposed to be Zelos? Zelos is the god of rivalry, as I remember from my Greek myth classes. Is he gonna join Kpop Star Hunt?

Well… I really smell something fishy about him. It’s either he’s gay or he’s just effeminate.

I started to notice his fishy thingy when I saw him with Jongup in the library. Every time Jongup opens his mouth, Junhong stares at him with his every move. It’s like he’s ogling him. If only he’s a girl, it would’ve been more socially acceptable. This environment is not open-minded. Poor Junhong.

He’s smart. Writing is a breeze for him. Students like him are surely lovable, since he’s also a gentleman.

I think I should have a little talk with him. Maybe I could help him with his problem.

Sandara Park’s POV about Kai

I don’t understand why Jongin likes to be called Kai. In Burmese, it means strong. In Chinese, it means triumphant. In Cornish, it means dog. In Hawaiian, it means ocean water. In Japanese, it means ocean, shell, restoration and recovery. In Maori, it means food. In North German, it means keeper of the earth. In Swahili, it means lovable. In Urdu, it means universe. I wonder which one. The Swahili fits him well, since he’s a heartthrob.

He’s intelligent. He loves recitation, for his female classmates drool whenever he stands up and recites. He’s a fan of Math. He grunts whenever it’s History time. He hides his potential in English. I hope the new teacher will help him show his writing skills. I think her name’s Do Kyungsoo…

I accidentally glanced back at class A and I saw extreme joy in Jongin… I mean Kai’s eyes when the new teacher entered. Students falling in love with their teachers? Absurd!

Sandara Park’s POV about Chanyeol

Jongin, er Kai’s other friend Park Chanyeol surely knows why he’s like that. I better go ask him. Well, we’re gonna see each other later at the library. I tutor him because he has difficulty in Filipino. When I started tutoring him, he seemly improved by 75%. Maybe I can let him go and fly on his own, soon.

I remember the first time I met him. He was a poor boy hiding from ogling girls. It’s a lucky thing I entered the Physics lab to check the apparatus for my students. He was funny, staring at me like I don’t exist.

I felt a bit giddy when he asked me to tutor him. It’s just the start of my real calling and a student gave me his trust to guide him in understanding a new language. I am deeply touched. But then, Principal Kim Soohyun scolded me. I’m sorry Mr. Kim. I just love children so much. They make me smile.

I’m also now accepting other students to tutor. I see that Chanyeol is improving very much and I’m so jolly about it. That’s a big accomplishment for a new teacher like me.

I heard through the grapevine that some students are feasting on the rumor that I am engaged to a celebrity. Of all the rumors out to target people, why me? These rumormongers! Tsk!

And then there’s this rumor about my relationship with Chanyeol. Some saw me hugging him, some spread that I called him cute. You people are misinterpreting my sweetness to my students. Is it wrong to show love for my students? I didn’t hit them, I just support them and help them. Is there something wrong with that?
