He furrowed his eyebrows towards the person in front of him. Jin remains unfazed, his eyes meeting Taehyung’s confidently. What he just told him was the truth. As a respond, he heard a soft chuckle.

“Is this a joke?” He faced him again. “Unbelievable.”

“I’m not hoping for you to believe me. But I’m asking you to believe her.” Jin replied calmly. He had enough guilt from his conscience, Hoseok and Ha Eun herself. Going to see Taehyung was not easy to decide, but it has to be done.

Taehyung huffed. He sort of predicted this situation. He just did not expect him jumping in to save her. “How naïve. She even got him wrapped around her finger.”

“What?”

“I’m out of here.”    

Taehyung slings his bag over his shoulder. The school is starting in twenty minutes. Today he got History lesson, English report to be submitted, Math…

He stopped.

Ha Eun inhaled deeply. It has come to this day. Can I do this? She inhales again, finally lifting her gaze to what’s in front of her.

Stares. Everyone was staring at her. Their eyes were on her. Somehow she could hear whispers, or a hint of what’s in their mind. No. She gulped. Her fear made her took a step backwards. I can’t do this. She was so used to hide beneath her glasses that coming out of her shell made her this scared. Very scared.

She was startled when someone held her from behind. “It’s okay.” Hoseok whispered. He nodded slightly, giving assurance to his sister. His hand went up to tuck her hair behind her ear. “It’s going to be just fine.”

It’s going to be just fine. She implanted the words in her mind. Gathering her courage, she faced the crowd again.

“Is that Jung Ha Eun?”
