Me & You
3.05 pm. It has only been thirty minutes since I got here. No sign of him anywhere.
Aish! Why does this place have to be huge?
I fished out my phone and redialed his number. One ring. Two rings. Three rings. No answer. Where is he? Imaginary scenarios of what could happen emerge in my mind. Please be alright.
The park was less crowded, although it's Sunday. I inhaled fresh air coming from the river. The soft breeze blows gently, moving my skirt. Luckily it was long enough, right below my knees. After the call, I decided to come. He could be ill for real.
"You came."
Ha Eun turned around. Their gaze met. Taehyung felt his heart skipped a beat. The wind blew on her hair. She was wearing a skirt too, other than the usual school uniform.
I didn't know she has a long hair. Taehyung chuckled. Silly. She wears ponytails and braids every day.
"You're not sick." Ha Eun spoke. Taehyung averted his gaze. He doesn't know why but feeling shy all of a sudden.
What? He tricked me? Ha Eun frowned as she saw his face went slightly red. Jerk. She was sure that he's holding it in. I'm out of here. "Don't go." Taehyung caught her arm. Their gaze met again, closer this time. His heart skipped a beat.
Ha Eun gulped. She lost to temptation of his smirk. She caved in when Taehyung took her to the river bank. She followed him until they stopped in front of two bicycles. One was white, one was black.
"What is this?"
"Can't you tell? These are bicycles." Ha Eun questioned Taehyung with her look. First, he called her out. Second, he revealed that he's not sick when she thought he was. Third, he rented bicycles.
