"Oh Sehun, can't you just cover your face? It hurts to see Jongin's face"

"It's not like I like this face. If only you could see my real face, you'd be captivated at first sight"

Sehun pulled out a mirror from his pocket. "I'm whiter, taller, and more handsome than Kim Jongin"

Kyungsoo rolled her eyes. "Whatever." 

"But seriously, Kyungsoo, what if he doesn't come back?," Sehun asked before sipping his coffee

"Don't say that."

"What's taking him so long, right? He promised to come back, why's he not here?"

"I don't know, okay? How could I possibly know???," Kyungsoo replied, trying to hold back her tears.

"But what if? Just what if...he forgot about you that's why--"

"Stop it. He will come back. Jongin will."

"I hope not..."

"What--"

Sehun suddenly kissed Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo tried to resist, but then Sehun was so strong, and in the end, she decided to give in.

"Can you just love me instead?"

A tear escaped from Kyungsoo's eye. She wasn't sure if Jongin will come back or if she should give Sehun a chance. She didn't know if she was still waiting for someone to come home. Will he ever come home?

"Sehun... I can't force myself to love you"

"But I have his face. And I'm even better"

"But I don't want someone better...I-I just want him back"

"Kyungsoo, he's not coming back! It's only you and me now. You're wasting your time waiting for someone who wouldn't come back."

"He. Will. Come. Back."

Sehun scoffed. "Trust me, he won't"

Kyungsoo slapped Sehun. "You think telling me that will make me change my mind? You're just hurting me more."

"I'm sorry, but you need to know the truth."

"What truth?"

"Jongin lost his memories."

For a minute, Kyungsoo couldn't speak. "Uhm... I think I need to go home"

"I'll come with--"

"No, you go home. I need time...to...think...about everything, I guess"

Sehun sighed. "I know it's tough, but I'm here. I'm always here"

With that, Kyungsoo burst out crying. Sehun hugged her immediately and patted her back. "It's okay to cry. You don't have to be shy."

Kyungsoo hugged him tighter, seeking for comfort. "Please tell me you're lying. I-I can't accept it. I-It's so hard...How could he...how could he just forget everything?" Her words sounded like a whisper, she could barely speak.

"Ssh. I'll help you recover, okay? What's important is that you already know the truth"

"When did you find out?"

"Yesterday."

"I can't...I can't breathe. It's...it's so hard to accept."

"Together, let's start anew"

"LET ME OUT!!! FATHER, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? IS KAI'S FEELINGS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU?"

"Enough. I've been fooled by you for so many times. You even told me your days were numbered when in fact you're healthy and still intact. You've been fooling me for the longest time and I'm so stupid to believe and follow your orders." King Suho tried to control his tears. He was angry, disappointed, and sad at the same time. 
"Father, I--"

"You're a selfish brat. That's what you are."

King Suho suddenly felt a pang in his chest. He knew he's getting weaker because of the deal with Jongin. Jongin's close to retrieving his memories and he can't stop it.

The soldiers gathered around him in an attempt to bring him to the hospital but he raised his hand. "There's no need. Tell Sehun to come. Tell him he will be crowned soon"

Lu Han kept on hitting the glass but it won't budge. "FATHER NO!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE LIKE THIS"

King Suho smiled painfully. "Everything I did...it was all for you."
