Ugh...I'm so tired. Another long day at work. Dara makes her way home. As she enters their house, she hears chatter somewhere inside.

"Imo? Na wass-eo."

"We're in the kitchen, Dara-yah."

Imo. My Aunt Eunji. She was our mom's younger sister. She caught the wanderlust bug at an early age. She's been to almost everywhere in the world. She stopped travelling to take care of us after our parents' accident. She's met lots of people. They tend to visit from time to time. I wonder who it is this time.

She gets her smile ready as she enters the kitchen. She sees her aunt sitting on a stool in front of the kitchen counter. There's a guy next to her with his back facing towards her. She feels her body humming to life. The guy had blond hair and for some reason, there was something familiar about him.

"Dara-yah, come closer and meet a friend of mine."

She approaches the counter and sees the guy turn around to face her. He flashes a smile at her and runs dry. All she could do is stare. I will never forget that smile. I've been seeing it everywhere all day. I know how those lips taste like. She shakes her head and snaps out of the trance.

"Meet my friend, Kwon Jiyong. You saw him on tv this morning. Who knew right? I met him when I took that trip to South America. Jiyong, this is my oldest niece, Dara."

"Nice to meet you." He s his hand towards Dara. She takes it and feels sparks running up her arm. She drops his hand pretty suddenly. He looks at her with an inquiring look on his face. Aunt Eunji was busy with something else so she missed the awkward moment between the two.

"Nice to meet you too." She murmured. She turns away from his stare to talk to her aunt. "Imo, you didn't tell me we were having a guest. I could have stopped at the store to buy something for tonight."

"No need. I have everything under control. I'm making Jiyong's favorite, budae jjigae."

"You like budae jjigae?"

"Yup. I missed it. Korean food overseas just don't taste the same as here back home. Waeyo?"

"It's probably because it's her favorite too."Aunt Eunji answers. She turns to her niece and nudges her to go to her room. "Go Dara. Go get changed, we'll be eating shortly."

"Arasso." She gives her aunt a hug an then turns back toward Jiyong, slightly bowing in front of him as she takes her leave. "I'm just gonna go get changed." 

As she leaves the kitchen, she hears the front door open and close. 

"Imo, na wass-eo."

"We're in the kitchen, Minzy-ah! The one coming is my youngest niece. The baby of this family."

She hear them talking as I head into my room. Wow...I can't believe it really is a small world out there. Who would've thought that my aunt and Jiyong have crossed paths before. I try to remember this morning when we saw him on tv. I didn't notice my aunt saying she knows him. But then again, I was in a state of shock, seeing my dream man in real life on tv.

Dara sighs as she changes out of her work clothes and puts on a pink shirt and blue capri pants. Normally, her usual attire at home are just tank tops and short shorts but seeing as there's a man in the house that she may or may not have seen in her dreams, she decided to try not too show too much skin. I don't want to tempt fate. Not that I believe in it.
