Kai watched as Kyungsoo disappeared into the dressing room. He had a smile on his face until the boy was out of sight and then he let the smile drop from his face.

"I guess this will give us some time to... talk," Kris said from behind him.

Kai turned around and saw that Kris had a frown on his face. Its not that Kris disliked the other boy for no reason at all, don't confuse him for someone to just hate anyone. Kris disliked the boy because for some reason the other irked him and to say that Kai felt the same way was a given.

"What is there to talk about?" Kai asked while pushing past him.

Kris brushed off the action. “You and Kyungsoo, of course.”

Kai raised a brow. “Why do you want to know things about us?”

Kris shrugged. “Simple curiosity on one of my friends.”

“Are you sure you guys are friends?” Kai paused as he looked through the rack of clothes in front of him.  “Are you sure that’s the only reason you're asking these questions?”

Kris frowned. “What are you implying?”

“I think its clear.” Kai said, giving Kris a hard look.

Kris stared at him back. “Listen I don’t know what you think I’m trying to do, but I really am just trying to be friends with Kyungsoo. I want things to be at peace.”

Kai scoffed. “Well I wonder who ruined that peace in the first place.”

Kris stepped closer to Kai as he glared down at the other. “Listen, you don’t have the right to talk about you don’t know about.”

“I think I know enough to imply that you already hurt him before and that you don’t need to be anywhere near him anymore.”

“Who are you to imply that?” Kris growled out, his voice getting a bit louder as his anger grew. There conversation seems to have escalated quickly and Kai didn’t let the opportunity to press each one of his buttons go.

“I’m his boyfriend!” Kai exclaimed. He didn’t even notice that he was taking his boyfriend role very serious. More than an act should be. “And as his boyfriend it’d be nice if his ex from the past stay in the past and not stir up anything.”

Kris scoffed. “I’m not trying to get him back! I have Tao!”

“Then why do you want to be friends with him?”

The two stared at each other intensely. It was a surprise to them both that the store staff haven’t come to investigate what the problem was.

“I’m trying not to be another scar in his life. He already had a lot of heartbreak in his past because of... him and I dont-”

“Him?” Kai asked confused.

Although the two had been spending a lot of time together, they still haven’t come around to discuss deep into their past yet. Hearing Kris discuss about something Kai knew nothing about made him upset. What does Kris know that he doesn’t? Who is this him?

Kris stopped and looked at Kai in disbelief. “You don’t know about him? I thought you two were dating?”

“W-We haven’t been dating long!” Kai yelled out in frustration. “Who is “him”? Who is this guy?!”

Kris smirked. “As a friend of Soo’s I don’t think its any of my business to tell his past to others. I mean if he actually liked and trusted you enough then maybe you would know.” Kris didn't mean that, but he just wanted to push his buttons back just as Kai did to him.

Kai walked close to Kris until they were standing chest to chest glaring at one another. “Screw You.” He growled out through gritted teeth.

Who was Kris to say all this to him? Kyungsoo trusted him, why else would they be on this date right now. But he couldn’t help but wonder who this guy was.

“Guys?” They heard Kyungsoo clear his throat behind them.

They both turned around to see Kyungsoo and Tao stare at them in concern. “Is everything alright?”

“It’s fine.” Kris pulled a smile out on his face, quickly changing the atmosphere in the room. The smile quickly dropped and concern set in as he glanced at his boyfriend’s face. “Were you crying?! What happened?!”

“How can he tell the difference? His eyes still look as puffy as they did before- ow!” Kai rubbed his sides after Kyungsoo assaulted him.

“I’m fine Kris.” Tao laughed at how concern his boyfriend was. It made him happy to see how much Kris cared for him.

“I’m bored with shopping already.” Tao whined. “Let’s wrap things up here and go see a movie!”

Kris kissed Tao’s forehead sweetly and it made the other two wonder if Kris and Tao forgot they were there too. But Kyungsoo couldn’t deny it made him smile at how happy the two were with each other. “Sure babe, let’s go see a movie. If that’s okay with you guys again?”

Kyungsoo smiled brightly, looping his arm with Kai’s. “No problem!”

Kai stared confused at Kyungsoo’s sudden attitude improvement, but he took note to remind himself to ask Kyungsoo later.

“Let’s go!” Tao cheered while pulling Kris with him.

Kyungsoo chuckled before smiling at Kai beside him. “Let’s go too, Jong.”

Kai felt his heart stammer at the dazzling smile, and he couldn’t help but smile back. “Alright.”

And as they walked off Kai forgot about asking Kyungsoo about ‘him’ also.
