Fifth Update for today. I'm on a roll....

Ji Hoo was also roaming around the venue when he bumped into Gagan accidently.

“Oh, I’m sorry” Ji Hoo said as he picked up the bouquet of red roses that had fallen from Gagan’s hands when they had clashed.

“It’s fine” Gagan said and started moving towards Mandy’s suite.

Ji Hoo noticed that and stopped him. When Gagan gave him a questioning look, Ji Hoo took the bouquet away from him and threw it away.

“Hey!”

“She likes lilies, preferably white” Ji Hoo simply said and walked on.

After dinner, when the F4 went to their suite, they saw Gagan standing outside the door.

“Hello” Woo Bin said

“Uh, hi; I would really like to ask for a favor from you guys” he said

“Uh, okay, what is it?” Woo Bin said

“Can we talk inside?” he suggested and all went inside the suite.

“Now tell us what it is”

“You guys have to help me” he said

“With what?” Yi Jung asked

“Mandy”

“She still didn’t forgive you?” Jun Pyo said

“No, fortunately she did” and then he turned to Ji Hoo “Thanks for your advice bro” he said gratefully

“Uh, you’re welcome”

“Then what’s the problem?” Woo Bin asked

“I don’t know anything about her. I only met her once or twice on every trip I took, which was again in every two years; so I don’t really know her per say”

“Nor do we, well not that much at least” Yi Jung said

“But still, you guys must have observed something, like the fact that she likes lilies over roses”

“She does?” Jun Pyo asked

“Yeah she does” Ji Hoo said and sat on the nearest couch

“This is so like when Monkey asked Jan Di to become her bridesmaid” Jun Pyo said in Korean

“Uh guys, so would you help me?” Gagan looked at them unsurely

“Yes” Ji Hoo said and the F3 looked at him like he had gone crazy.

“Yah! Yoon Ji Hoo, do you have a death wish?” Jun Pyo shouted at him, continuing on in Korean

“It’s the least I can do to ensure that she remains happy” Ji Hoo replied to Jun Pyo and then turned to Gagan and said in English “I’ll help you”

“Awesome!”

“So what do you want to know?”

“Anything you know about her” Gagan sat down next to him

“There can be a lot of things under that category”

“Ok, first tell me, how did you become friends?” Gagan asked excitedly

“It started with me shouting at her”

“You shouted at her? And she let you?”

“What do you mean, let me?” Ji Hoo was confused

“She doesn’t let any guy talk to her improperly; and if he does, he can bid his balls farewell”

“I didn’t shout at her like that; I shouted at her because of my headache” and Ji Hoo with the help of his F4 friends first gave a brief of Ji Hoo’s love life, which led to discussion about Jun Pyo and Jan Di’s love story.

“You guys have really filmy lives” Gagan commented

“You have no idea” Woo Bin said

 “So, what then?” Gagan asked Ji Hoo to continue

“Um, I made pancakes for her and she forgave me”

“She ate those?”

“No, but we had some coffee at a nearby café and became good friends”

“And then Woo Bin asked her out” Yi Jung snickered

“What?!” Gagan looked at the person whom Mandy called her brother.

“And when I told Woo Bin’s guys to break down her apartment door, we heard a scream from inside” Ji Hoo was recalling each and every moment he had spent with Mandy, thinking that if Gagan picked up even half the things he knew about her, Mandy would stay happy in her new life.

“And then I took her to my house after Harbeoji checked her. That’s why she stayed a week at my house.” He said to Gagan

“Is she a handful?” Gagan asked

“You are thinking about that now?” Yi Jung smirked

“No, just want to be prepared for what’s coming” he grinned

“If you want to think of her as someone who is a nuisance then she could a handful. She was very particular about her cotton-filled mattress and the of her hair before going to sleep and her hunger pangs in the middle of the night. Her decorating my house for Christmas by waking up at 3 in the night with the help of the ahjusshis even in a fever and using dal as a bribe system” Ji Hoo smiled and looked at his hands

Ji Hoo again faced Gagan and said “But no, she is not a handful, she tries to adjust according to surroundings.”

The guys talked all night with Gagan and they all fell asleep on the couches only.

The next day, after going about her daily morning routine, Mandy woke up the girls at 7 and then went to the guys’ suite to wake them up too.

When she reached there, she found the door open and she entered and saw the most unexpected scene ever.

Instead of sleeping on their beds, F4 were sleeping on the couches and the carpet. She just smiled and started to walk in their direction when she saw that there were not four but five men in the room.

Only when the fifth person changed his position of sleep and his face came into clear view that Mandy realized who it was.

She went over to him and shook him.

“Yah, what are you doing here?” she whisper-shouted at him

“slpthrndwgtlknwdthgy” Gagan mumbled

“Wake up” she shook him again

“Let me sleep for five more minutes, mom”

“Yah! Do I look like your mom to you?” Mandy shouted, which woke up Woo Bin

“Good Morning Bhai, get up” she said as Woo Bin rubbed his eyes and sat up

“Good morning” he croaked

“What is he doing here?” Mandy asked about Gagan

“Uh, we got talking last night and I don’t know when we fell asleep”

“Hmmn, now go freshen up and I’ll wake up everyone else”

Mandy then woke up Yi Jung, who further helped her in waking up Jun Pyo. Lastly she went over to Ji Hoo.

“Babu, wake up, it’s 8 in the morning, get up” she sweetly cooed to him.

Ji Hoo opened his eyes just a slit and the first thing he saw was Mandy smiling down at him.

“Good Morning” she smiled at him

“Great, now I’m even having dreams” Ji Hoo muttered

“Yah! Yoon Ji Hoo, get up will you” Jun Pyo shouted from across the room and Ji Hoo sat up straight and pinched himself on the arm.

“Babu, are you okay?” Mandy asked

“Yeah, I’m fine” he said and moved away from her

“Uh, then you all get ready; my relatives will start arriving soon” Mandy said and went out the room

The bride and groom’s families had started arriving and the whole venue looked like it had a life of its own.

Mandy greeted them all enthusiastically; she was meeting them all again after her birthday. The F4, Jan Di and Ga Eul stood in a corner as they saw the whole noisy, loud, yet warm spectacle.

“It’s like a circus isn’t it?” Niya joined them all

“You can say, or in her words, like a carnival” Ji Hoo said, looking at Mandy lovingly as she moved from one relative to the other, greeting them like they had met after a lifetime.

Niya noticed this and her expression turned into one of contemplation, like some wheels had started turning in her head.

“Excuse me, I just remembered something” she lied and walked towards the lawns.

Ji Hoo hadn’t given much thought to Niya’s excuse, but Woo Bin, who was standing on Ji Hoo’s other side, had noticed that something was wrong and went after her.

Niya sat down at a bench and had a panicked expression on her face.

“Is everything okay?” Woo Bin asked

“Uh, um yeah” Niya lied and tried to cover up, but was a bit rattled by what she had observed.

“You know, you are not a good liar too” Woo Bin said and sat down beside her

“Hmmn” she smiled weakly

“You know it too now”

“What are you talking about?”

“I know what you’re thinking”

“What am I thinking?”

“That Ji Hoo likes Mandy”

“So is it true?”

“No” Woo Bin said and Niya heaved a sigh of relief, but Woo Bin spoke again “He doesn’t like her; he loves her”

Niya looked at him with wide eyes; her eyes asking a thousand questions at once, but she her lips said something else “You’re lying” she said

“Why would I lie about such a thing; I told you in Seoul too that there was something going on.”

“Did he tell you himself, or are you just assuming things?” Niya said

“At first, I thought I was assuming things, but after Mandy left, Ji Hoo totally broke down and said it himself.”

“Is that the reason he ignored her for a month after she left?”

“Most probably”

“Then, why is he here? Why is he torturing himself like this?” Niya demanded

“Because he wants to see her happy” Woo Bin said with a catch in his voice.

Niya burst out in tears and Woo Bin tried to console her, but a tear or two escaped his eyes too.

“But I cannot tell her; she’ll be wracked with guilt her whole life” Niya said as she wiped her tears.

“I know” Woo Bin said

The next two days went by like a blur, with continuous ceremonies happening one after the other.

It was now a day before the wedding and the Sangeet and Mehendi ceremony were supposed to be held that evening.

Because of the pre-wedding party that went on for late last night, all the people woke up around noon, and after having lunch, all got busy for preparations for the evening function. It was like a mad frenzy, with people running from one room to another, running after children or with children running after them.

Mandy popped into the F4 suite to check if the guys were ready.

“Hey, you all ready?” she asked as she knocked once and entered. Surprisingly all were ready on time.

“How do I look?” Jun Pyo asked, admiring himself in a full length mirror

“Handsome as always” Mandy smiled at him

“But why aren’t you ready?” Woo Bin asked. Mandy was still dressed in her daily clothes.

“I had to ensure first if you all were ready, it will take me only 10 minutes”

“Is everyone else ready?” Yi Jung asked Mandy

“If you want to know about Ga Eul, then yes, the girls are ready and I have told them to get their mehendi done, so that when I sit for my mehendi, they can help me.” Mandy said but the guys didn’t understand half of it.

“Meh-what?” Yi Jung asked

“Henna tattoos drawn on hands and feet of women”

“Oh”

“And the women’s partner’s name or his initials are hidden in between the drawings.” Mandy added

“Huh, why?” Jun Pyo asked

“Just for fun” Mandy shrugged and laughed out

“So only married women get to apply henna?” Woo Bin asked

“Arre nhi; all girls get to have henna applied to their hands, but married women and the to-be-bride gets the name of their partners hidden in the drawings”

“So Jan Di’s tattoos will have my name hidden in it?” Jun Pyo asked excitedly

“If she wants to” Mandy said

“She better want to” and Jun Pyo stomped out the room and Yi Jung and Woo Bin also followed him.

“You better go too” Mandy said to Ji Hoo and left the room

“Yeah, I better” Ji Hoo said and moved out the room.

He went to the lawns where the function was happening. When he entered the area, he was greeted by Mandy’s mother.

“Hello” Ji Hoo said politely to her

“Hello, you look good in Indian wear” she commented

“Thank you”

“So, you all have to participate enthusiastically in today’s function”

Ji Hoo just politely nodded and excused himself.

Woo Bin noticed Ji Hoo roaming around the bonfire and motioned him to come over to the group.

“Are you okay?” Woo Bin asked concernedly

“Trying to be” Ji Hoo answered and Woo Bin patted him on the back.

Niya noticed this and looked away. She had been afraid something like this was gonna happen after she had noticed the chemistry between Mandy and him.

Ji Hoo then saw something and went still. Woo Bin noticed this and looked up to see where Ji Hoo’s gaze led him.

I promise this is the last chapter which will be a disappointment. After this Bollywood style ending is gonna happen ^^
