The next day Niya and Mandy reached the Gu mansion at 9 in the morning and were escorted to the dining room where they found everyone already there.

“When did you guys come?” Mandy asked the guys as she hugged Jun Pyo and gave him the bouquet she had brought.

“Just 10 minutes ago” Ji Hoo said

“We were having breakfast, would you like something to eat too unnie?” Jan Di asked

“I had my breakfast, but she didn’t” Mandy said pointing to Niya “She woke up late” she loudly whispered

“Unlike you, I am not used to waking up at five in the morning” Niya said defensively

“You wake up at five? What do you do so early in the morning?” Woo Bin asked

“Daily prayers” Ji Hoo and Mandy replied together

During Mandy’s short stay at his house, Ji Hoo had witnessed how Mandy went about her day. Most of schedule could be called unpredictable at best, but the only regular thing was her daily morning prayers. She woke up at five every day, bathed and recited her morning prayers in her room.

“So, Niya-ssi, are you a vegetarian too like Mandy?” Yi Jung asked

“Oh please! As if that could be true; this girl here is a total carnivore, just like you all here” but when she saw insulted looks she cleaned it up. “I mean, don’t misunderstand me. I didn’t mean that in any offensive way”

“So what did you eat for breakfast Miss Herbivore?” Ji Hoo asked

“Miss Herbivore, is that the best you could come out with?” Mandy asked

“I mean, don’t misunderstand me. I didn’t mean that in any offensive way” he said mocking her

“Oh no he didn’t” Niya whispered

“Oh yes he did” Woo Bin, who was sitting beside her whispered back

“You are dead meat” Mandy announced and pounced in Ji Hoo’s direction, but he slipped away.

Mandy ran after him to the other parts of the house. Ji Hoo kept teasing her and Mandy deliberately didn’t catch up with him because she was enjoying this Tom & Jerry chase.

“I don’t think I have seen sunbae this playful, ever” Jan Di observed

“Me too” Woo Bin said

“Never?” Niya asked

“He has always had one tragedy or the other happening in his life” Woo Bin said sadly

“Oh” Niya said weakly and looked at her hands

Just then they heard Ji Hoo shouting

“Should we go check?” Yi Jung asked uncertainly

“Nothing much to worry about, he’ll probably just get a few bruises” Niya said coolly “and probably a few broken bones” she added

“What?!” the whole table shouted

Mandy was chasing Ji Hoo throughout the Gu Mansion. Ji Hoo turned towards Jun Pyo’s room and Mandy finally pinned him on the bed. Ji Hoo shouted when Mandy twisted his arm.

“It hurts” Ji Hoo said wincing

“It does?” Mandy asked worriedly and loosened her grip on his arm a little.

The next thing she knows, she gets the air knocked out of her.

“Got you” Ji Hoo grinned at her as he tackled her and turned their position opposite.

“This is not fair!” Mandy shouted as he pinned her down. “First you tease me and now you pin me down. You are so dead when I get back on top of you” Mandy threatened him

Everyone else was standing outside, listening to the conversation through the door.

“Yeah well we’ll see how much energy you have left after this” Ji Hoo said and started tickling her.

“Oh my god, stop! Stop, please stop, oh god please, I beg you please stop. Help me please!” Mandy shouted in between fits of laughter, but Ji Hoo kept tickling her.

“Should we go in?” Ga Eul asked worriedly

“It’s the first time sunbae is this playful, let’s not break the streak” Jan Di suggested

“But I’m going to wait only another 10 minutes, after that I’m going in” Niya announced and started walking back towards the dining room. “And I’m hungry” she shouted as everyone else was still stuck near the door.

“You’re no fun” Woo Bin said as he sat down next to her at the dining table

Ji Hoo stopped tickling Mandy and lay down next to her as they both laughed.

“Thank you” Mandy said as she got up sideways and rested her head on hand and it’s weight on her elbow.

“For what?” Ji Hoo asked, totally surprised as to where this was coming from.

“I haven’t laughed this much in a lot of time, and it certainly has been a long time since someone tickled me” she chuckled

“You’re welcome” he grinned and looked at her

They looked at each other and suddenly they were not laughing anymore.

“Um, I think we should go now” Mandy said as she got up and straightened up herself.

“Uh, yeah” Ji Hoo said and followed Mandy, who had walked ahead.

“What were you doing so long?” Jun Pyo asked innocently

“As if you don’t know; I know you all were outside” Mandy said

“But we couldn’t see what was happening, we could only hear you laughing uncontrollably and yelling ‘Stop, please stop’” Jun Pyo said

“Nothing, don’t stress too much” Mandy said “and tell us the plan for today, coz you are the one who invited us and so you have to plan the day” she said trying to change the subject

“There is no plan” Jun Pyo stated

“No plan, then what are we going to do all day?” Mandy asked

“I don’t know; I just wanted to spend some time with my friends!” Jun Pyo said defensively

“Don’t worry, I’ll think of something” Mandy said

“Please not karaoke again” Jun Pyo said

“I think we have had enough of that; let me think of something new that you guys have never done” Mandy said in a thoughtful tone

“I don’t think there’ll be any such activity” Woo Bin remarked

“Oh, you have no idea what all there is that you haven’t done” Mandy said

“But unnie, what all can we do by staying in the house” Ga Eul asked

Just then Mandy had an idea and whispered it to Niya and both friends had devilish looks in their eyes.

“Ga Eul, Jan Di, a minute” Mandy called the two girls into a corner away from the guys and told them the plan too. The G4 giggled and turned to face the guys.

“You all are up for anything right?” Mandy asked smirking

“Yes, anything” Jun Pyo said defiantly

“I don’t have a good feeling about this” Woo Bin muttered to Yi Jung and Ji Hoo, who nodded in agreement.

“Aish, such scared children. I have a back ache, but do you see me scared? I’m ready for anything” Jun Pyo said

“We’ll be right back” Mandy announced and the girls disappeared

Niya returned after 75 minutes “We are ready for you. Who is coming with me first?” she gave the challenging look to all

“I’ll go” Woo Bin said as he got up thinking ‘How bad can it be?’

He had no idea what he was facing.

Yi Jung and Ji Hoo gave each other weird looks when they heard loud shouting noises coming from the hall. Another 15 minutes passed and then Yi Jung went when Ga Eul came to fetch him. Voices of struggle could be heard and even Jun Pyo started getting worried now.

“What do you think is happening?” Jun Pyo asked Ji Hoo

“Your guess is as good as mine” Ji Hoo said

“Let’s go check” Jun Pyo said as he slowly started getting up from his chair. He slowly walked towards the door and was about to step outside when two bulky men blocked his path. “Yah! Get out of my way!” he demanded

“Sorry sir, but noonim gave us strict orders that nobody was allowed to go outside the room unless someone came to fetch them” one guy said

“Mwo? Do you know who I am? I’ll have both of you fired if you don’t let me go” Jun Pyo shouted

But the two men didn’t budge. After a few minutes of cursing and shouting, Jun Pyo sat down in his seat again. After 5 minutes, Jan Di came and took Jun Pyo away with him. Ji Hoo was left alone in the room and he sat there thinking about what the hell the girls had planned.

“Your turn” Mandy popped her head in through the door and Ji Hoo got up and followed her.

“You are not a serial killer are you? Or an evil witch who has taken over everyone and who has eaten up my friends and now is going to eat me?” Ji Hoo joked nervously. There actually was a portion of his mind which was thinking that possibility to be true.

“You are the first person to guess it right” Mandy said in a serious tone but couldn’t control her laughter and burst out laughing and suddenly stopped and faced him “and now I’m going to eat you up” she said in between laughs

Ji Hoo joined in the laughter and let go of the nervousness that had started to grow.

“But seriously, what have you planned?” Ji Hoo asked

“You’ll see for yourself” she said as she led him to a room. The room had been turned into a make shift green room sans the mirrors

“What is happening?” Ji Hoo asked

“We are having a photo shoot” Mandy said

“And what’s the theme? Because I heard arguments”

“Oh, it’s really simple. The guys just needed a little convincing” and then she started opening up boxes of makeup and brushes.

“So much makeup?”

“It’s a photo shoot, makeup is necessary” she said as she pushed him onto a chair and started working on him

“How did you come up with this idea?” Ji Hoo asked as Mandy worked on his eyes

“When I was young, I and Niya used to do this a lot; dress up in our best clothes and then click photos” Mandy said as she started applying eyeliner on his eyes.

“Woah, wait a minute, why are you applying eyeliner?” Ji Hoo asked

“Not you too” she moaned

“What me too?” Ji Hoo said

“I had to explain to the guys too that it will bring out your eyes, but they won’t let me apply it on them; took some heavy convincing to make them agree with me. Now are you going to let me do my work or are you going to throw a tantrum too?” she looked at him

“Okay” he said and closed his eyes and settled into his seat

After 10 minutes Mandy declared that she was done with the makeup.

“Why aren’t there any mirrors around?” Ji Hoo asked

“Don’t you trust me? I made you look good; don’t worry”

“No, I was just curious. But why was there so much shouting? I can think that Jun Pyo would cause trouble, but Woo Bin and Yi Jung are understanding guys” Ji Hoo said

“Yeah well, it’s all sorted now” she said and again pushed him on the chair

“Aren’t we finished yet?” Ji Hoo asked

“No, we have to do your hair” she said as she started combing through his hair.

Ji Hoo sat there and was getting bored and decided to take a nap, which actually worked in Mandy’s favor as she didn’t have to convince him about the things she was going to do to his hair. After she was done, Mandy woke Ji Hoo up and led him to a separate room for the clothes.

“Close your eyes” Mandy said as she turned in his direction

Ji Hoo obliged with her wishes and she led him behind a changing screen.

“Ok, now don’t look and don’t panic”

“Why would I panic?” Ji Hoo asked

“Coz someone else is going to change your clothes; don’t open your eyes” she quickly added the last part when she saw that Ji Hoo was going to open his eyes.

“I am perfectly capable of changing into something else; I don’t need someone to help me dress” he said

“I know, but it is a surprise for you; pleeeeaaasse” Mandy pleaded him and took his hand in hers. “Please babu” she said

“Ok fine” he said and Mandy jumped up and down in excitement.

One of Woo Bin’s men came and helped Ji Hoo dress up and then Mandy led him to another room; Ji Hoo’s eyes were still closed.

They reached a room and Jun Pyo and Jan Di’s voices could be heard and it seemed like they were fighting, as always

“Yah! I want to open my eyes now” Jun Pyo said

“But you can’t; Ji Hoo sunbae is not ready yet. When he arrives with unnie, then you can open your eyes” Jan Di said

“Just 2 more minutes Jugnu, and then you can open your eyes” Mandy said as she brought in Ji Hoo

“I don’t have a good feeling about this” Woo Bin again said as the girls guided them to their positions

The girls guided everyone in front of a full length mirror. “Okay, on count of three, you all can open your eyes” Mandy said “One, two, three”
