Min Ho's hands gripped tightly onto the railing angrily watching the heavily tinted sports car pull away with the love of his life.  He was angry at her for choosing another man, who she barely met, over him. But, he was more furious with himself for turning into a pitiful, hopeless romantic. He was Lee Min Ho for crying out loud! There are millions of women who would give up everything to be his other half.  He heavily sighed silently wondering to himself why he was so stuck on her being the one and not letting her go from the sacred place he reserved for her in his heart. 

'Hyung, are you ok?' Woo Bin nudged and handed him a beer. 

'Hmm' Min Ho continued to look straight down at the empty street as he drank half the beer in one gulp pushing away his sorrows. 

'I think it's time for you to let her go.'

'Hmm'

'For her sake...and yours'

'I'm not ready yet.' Min Ho grabbed for Woo Bin's beer and chugged it down as fast as he could like he was in a drinking contest. 

'Don't do this, stop being a hopeless romantic.' Woo Bin tightly shook his shoulders hoping to finally wake him up and let him know that the party is over. 

'You know she moved on?' Min Ho loudly sighed slightly shaking his head in disbelief. 

'I just found out' Woo Bin paused deeply pondering if he should reveal anymore details on Shin Hye's new love interest. 

'She met him at film school in the US.' Min Ho walked towards the bench and took a seat. 

'His name is Jonathan.' Woo Bin takes a seat next to him and hands him another beer. 

'He's not American, he's Korean and he's from Seoul' Min Ho mocked as he took another swing of his beer. 

'Mianhe, I couldn't tell you where she was. It was my promise to her when she left Seoul to Paris and Paris to LA.' Woo Bin clinked his bottle next to Min Ho's and finished the last remains. 

'Maybe he's just an infatuation or better yet rebound' Woo Bin handed Min Ho another beer hoping it would make him feel better. 

Min Ho raised the green Heineken bottle carefully examining it as if he was looking for clues to solve the problem. He pressed the opening of the bottle to his lips and gulped down the entire bottle. 

'He means something to her.' He spoke lowly letting each word escape his aching heart.

Joong Ki stopped the car at the red traffic light. He turned right towards Shin Hye to study her to figure out what was wrong and why she hadn't made a peep the moment she got in from Woo Bin's place. He was about to ask her what was on her mind and why Grace all of the sudden contacted him and told him not to go to Woo Bin's party and to just take Shin Hye home. 

'Pabo ah, pay attention' Shin Hye lightly hit his arm as the car was stopped at a green light. 

'I am, I'm just focusing my attention at you and not the road' his right hand grabbed onto her left that hit him securely entwining them together. 

'I know you must be tired from the jet lag, we're almost there. Kaja'

His foot gently pressed on the acceleration pedal and drove towards her house keeping her hand in his, comforting her heavy heart. Shin Hye mindlessly glazed over the window, watching the bright colorful lights reflect and dance off of the black backdrop. She needed to keep her mind entertained on anything, but Lee Min Ho.  She was so engrossed at watching the bright colors that she spaced out and didn't even notice that he had stopped the car in her villa's driveway. 

'Pabo ah' his soft voice entered into her silent mind. 

'You must be really tired. Come on go in and get some sleep.' He leaned over and unfastened her seat belt. 

'Pabo ah' she whispered softly turning her gaze to him and began to debate if she should just tell a white lie or the truth on what just transpired on Woo Bin's rooftop. 

'I...uhhh...just...ran into my ex.  Heisleeminho' she stuttered.  

Shin Hye decided that as much as it hurts, telling the truth was the right thing to do given it was the thing that broke her last relationship. 

'Hmmm...' He reached for her hands to calm her down. 

'Hmmm?! Is that all you have to say? Don't you have any jealous questions for me?' Her eyes widened in shock that he didn't interrogate her like any normal man would do. 

'Everyone has a past and sometimes there are times we have to relive them.'

'But I was with my ex boyfriend, Lee Min Ho!'

'Thank you for not lying and telling me'

'Huh?! Did you not hear me clearly? Is there something wrong with your hearing' she pulled her hands away from his and covered like a megaphone and screamed loud and clear. 

'I was on Kim Woo Bin's rooftop with my ex boyfriend Lee Min Ho and I was centimeters from kissing him!'

Joong Ki let out a light chuckle admiring how cute she looked when she gets worked up. He would be lying if his heart didn't hurt when he heard her confession, but it would have hurt even more if she lied to him. At least by her telling the truth, she validated that he meant something in her heart, which isn't an easy feat. 

'Wae?!' She squealed in frustration. 

'Pabo ah' he once again reached for her hands. 

'I would be lying if my heart didn't feel uneasy hearing that you were centimeters from kissing him. But on the flip side, my heart is doing summersaults knowing that you decided to tell me the truth. You like me that much to bravely face any aftermath between us head on huh?'

'Hmm...' 

'So it's time for you to be lost for words huh?' His thumb began to caress her dimples. 

'Hmm...' She looked at him softly silently wondering what she did to meet such an understanding man. 

'Look we both have exs, I trust you enough to believe that you know where the line is supposed to be drawn. I can't promise you that I won't see my ex ever again, but what I can promise is that I'll keep her at arm's length and I hope you can do that as well.'

'I'll try' she silently responded while nodding her head. 

They sat in silence searching through each other's eyes lost for words. Shin Hye began to mentally debate if she share her dark secret with him.  The night of their la
