Bring Me Back to California
Summer Night's Dream“Cut, good take!” the director excitedly yelled.
Both of them didn’t want the scene to end, but all good things have to eventually come to end. It seemed like yesterday that they awkwardly greeted each other again during the script reading. How fast time flies, if only they can make this moment stop in time momentarily so that they can address the feelings that have been harboring in their minds and maybe hearts for the past 4 months that began to form after their 3 weeks of care free filming in LA without the stress of paparazzi and die hard fans following their every moves and publishing them onto every social networking site know to man.
Their hands were still intertwined, they somehow magically fit and molded together as one just like two puzzle pieces that were meant for each other. The snow was starting to fall harder everyone around them were wrapping themselves up with heavier down jackets and scarves to stay warm. But for them, just from holding each other’s hand, they felt warm throughout their bodies and within their heart. Their hearts had a strange tingling, a little painful, feeling….both of them didn’t know what to call it as they have never felt it before…could it be that their hearts’ were yearning for each other? Knowing that after this last scene they would not being seeing each other on a frequent let alone a daily basis?
As stole a quick glance at her, something he’s gotten used to the last few months, to catch her glowing smile. He took a deep breath building up the courage to bring them back to reality, as he was about to say something to her…
“Shin Hye, that was beautiful! You’ve worked hard! It’s cold put this on so you don’t catch a cold.” her manager came up behind her and put a red down jacket over her petite body. Shin Hye was so lost in her moment with Min Ho that she forgot they were filming and immediately jumped out of shock, causing her to let go of his hand.
“Thank You, oppa!” Shin Hye said shyly hoping that her manager didn’t notice that she and Min Ho were holding hands after the director yelled cut. She started to mentally ask herself…how long were we standing like this? Why didn’t I let go of his hand? Why did I feel like we were in a dream, a sweet dream that I didn’t want to wake up from? Did anybody else notice? Did he notice?
“Shin Hye! Hello Shin Hye!!” her manager waved furiously in her face. Shin Hye shook off her thoughts “Sorry, oppa. I think I’m just a little tired since I only slept for an hour last night. What were you saying?”
“We have to go to the charity event, we must leave now or we’ll be late. Are you ready to leave?” her manager blurted in one breath to emphasis the urgency. “Oh, yes…I’m ready but let me just thank the staff quickly, ok?” she made a cute ok sign to calm her manager down “ok, but hurry. I will wait for you in the car” and he mimicked her ok sign to show his approval.
Will she say anything to me? He thought as he stood there silently watching and quietly chuckling at her cute interaction with her manager and saving her ok sign pose in his mind so that he can recall it again when he gets lonely to bring a smile to his face.
